kakashi:

you know i love a pointy nosed tall man as much as the next guy but i’ve been thinking a lot about how to get his most remarkable facial features and… they’re pretty rounded. like. he’s depicted by kishi with a soft and rounded face, and i really like that so - why not. but he has a broken nose, even if it’s only a bit. there’s no way i can be convinced of the contrary.

his hair has always given me headaches. the back part is not a problem, but how do i do the front bangs without making them look weird? it’s hard to connect them. it’s a solved problem: now hair down kakashi lives rent free in my head (thanks to HALCO and that person who had a head canon where kakashi spiky hair is explained by his electric chakra… really cool and logic. i’m down for it).

also, the eyes, man. they’re kinda rounded and soft too, and drawing them too sharp (while looks cool) didn’t make me feel like i was drawing exactly him.

haro:

their hair has also been a nightmare, i needed to find a middle ground between his design and kakashi’s bc they felt disconnected and i don’t like that.

and about the nose… yes, it’s pointy, as it should be.

i've written more than 6k words in total i think. only 2k had made it past the cut, and half of them are entirely new. also writing dialogue or descriptions that are not dense as hell is excruciatingly difficult.

but luckily i have finally figured out kakashi's and iruka's dynamic hehehehee

hi! first chapter finally up... it's a little over 6k words, so make yourself comfortable if it's of your liking. other tags will be added as the story progresses (a summary too). updates will be slow, i need to settle down a few things yet, and i like my chapters long as you may have noticed. i'm gonna be as self indulgent as i am mentally capable of.
