You're life was peaceful, go to school, do work, see friends at lunch, then work again, then after school hang out with your friends. Simple. Right?... Wrong most of the time when you want to hang out with your their out with your boyfriends well except Megan but she decides not to so that means you'd have to hang out with her most of the weekens. But lord when you are with them it's caotic and embaressing. And when they try (and chaotically fail) to set you're up with a guy you never end up actually getting with them. But on a random Thursday you met the possible love of your life.

"So...Y/N" Manon says in a teasing voice. "Yes Manon" you ask while eating a donut " Let me put you on" she says wiggling her eyebrows. You then turn your head to look at her. "With?" you ask. "Him." You see her pointing and some random. You then look at her with the biggest side eye early in the morning. "Don't piss me off Manon". "He looks cool." Then the bell rings for first period. She then rushes to her class before you attack her.
As you head your way to your first period biology you see Megan, cool you thought, just the two of you. But no, theres two other guys at the table. 'Great' you thought. As you walk over to Megan and sit next to her you look up to see the guy that's in front of you. You look at Megan and then the guy next to him, then back at him. "Hey Y/N" Megan says. "Hey Megan" then you blink at her. "Oh, Thats James" she points at the guy infront of her, you wave. "And thats Martin". and then it happens an encounter you never ever want to happen ad yet it happened. You and Martin made eyecontact. Then his face turns pinkish. You smile then you say "Hi im Y/N". He returns the Smile. You guys held eye contact until... the teacher called on the both of you 'to stop flirting'. You both break the eye contact as his ears turn red and look away. And you also turn around because embaressed then Megan whispers " see you Y/N". You then roll you're eyes at her.

When the bell rung for studentsgo to their free period, you, Megan, followed by James and Martin walked outside to where both of your friens would be. You and Martin where walking together in awkward silence while Megan and James where arguing about a random topic. Megan looks at you then back at James then tells him "They would cute together, right". "Yeah they would" "Does he have a girlfriend ?" "Nope he can't talk to women to safe his pife, the only women I know that he actually talks to is his mom and his older sister". "We should set them up, yeah? " Megan said. James nodded in agreement.
As the four of you walked outside you saw both of the friend groups sitting together. "Finally, what took you two so long" Manon asks. "Our class was on the other side of the building" you say. Then everyone sat down. But you, you went to an empty spot under a tree, pulled out your phone and headphones, then started listening to music. And out of the blue, Martin sat next to you and you didn't even notice him until he tapped your shoulder.
"Hey, umm, Y/N?" You look up with wide eye not expecting him to sit next to you. "Yeah what's up?" You say slowly taking of your headphones. "What are you listening too?" "It's, uh," you look at your phone " Moonlight on the river by Mac Demarco" "You listen to Mac Demarco?" He says getting a little less quiet "Yeah I love Mac Demarco, actually I love all artist and music" "What else do you listen too?" "Sometimes rock if im feeling alt," you say smiling at your own words "Rap but if it Don Toliver-" "You listen to Don Toliver too?" He says cutting you off then noticing what he did "Oh, uh, sorry, I just like talking about music to people" "No it's fine you were excited, but, umm I listen to r&b, actually I listen to every music genre" "Me too, music is a hobby for me, it's like music is a part of my daily routine". Then you both had the same idea "Do you wanna-" you both say at the same time "Oh sorry" Martin says. "It's my fault". Then you two did it again. "We should-" "Oh, gosh this is embarrassing, sorry" "It's cool you go first" Martin says. "Do you know the vinyl store downtown" "Yeah I go there every week, do you um, wanna go after school?" "I was going to ask the same thing" you say awkward "But I'd love to go with you, Martin".
And thats what he realized he was in love. With you. The girl who he barely knew. The girl that was awkward and quiet when she first saw him. And now you two are talking like you known each other for years.
You looked up at him and he was already looking down at you smiling like he just saw the love of his life. Then you asked "What's your number Tinnie, hm?" He paused at the nickname you gave him, unexpected, but cute, he wouldn't admit that out loud though. You gave him your phone and typed his number. "You know I've never actually warmed up to someone so fast it usually takes me like three to four days, and you seem like that too, no?" He handed back your phone "Mhm, I'm am a talker though, I might everln talk you're ear off" he says jokingly. And surprisingly you let out a soft giggle. And you guys sat there for and least 20 minutes.
Before the bell rung Martin asked "Can I walk you to your next class" so kindly, with that perfect smile you couldn't say no. "Before we go I need to tell my friends I'm walking with you, I'll be back, Tinnie" And you just left him red faced, and in awe. You came back really fast looking embarrassed from what ever your friends said to you. "Okay let's go now" you say. Then you hear both friend groups 'ooo-ing' a few inches away from you, knowing that the two of you would be embarrassed. As the two of you walking into the building you looked up at him "What's your favorite song or artist?" "Well, um, I dont really have a favorite song by i really like A$AP Rocky" "Really, gosh I love A$AP Rocky" "What's your favorite songs?" "I like Sundress, I smoked my brain away" "I like Fashion killa or Angels" "I didn't know you had great music taste" "Yeah, I also got a signed album" "You're serious" "Dead serious" "Oh my gosh you have to let me see it" "I'd love to show you" you both start giggling like idiots in the hall. "Well Martin ill call you later, yeah?" "Yeah I was thinking i walk to you're house then from there we could go to the vinyl store and hang out" "Yeah that sounds fine" you winked at him as the bell rung and the halls started filling up and everyonestoped to look at the boy with the red face that was clutching his heart. And you, you just walked into your class like you didn't almost give him a heart attack from winking at him.

As soon Martin walked into the classroom he's friends already knew something was up "What's wrong with you, hm?" James asked "Nothing" he says quietly with his face still red."Somethings up" Seonghyeon says "Did you fall infront of people" "No.." "Was it about Y/N?" Martin shrugs "I knew you guys had something going on" Junhoon said "We have nothing going on" "I saw the way you looked at her in 1st period" James said "That was nothing" Martin said in defense "That was 'nothing', Martin you were smiling like an idiot when you were with her" "Yeah, and don't forget what happened in our free period, you two where sitting together and smiling and giggling" Seonghyeon says "Don't forget you guys where sitting right behind us" He added. "But there's nothing going on" "Just say you like her" Martin starts smiling "There it is" Junhoon said "I knew it" James said proudly. "Wait what were you guys talking about?" Seonghyeon asked "Well, we're going to the vinyl store downtown" "My gosh a date Martin im proud" "It's not like-" He stopped himself "You know what, call it whatever you want" he said more quietly.

"YOU WHAT" Manon yelled "Oh my gosh what is your problem, it's literally no biggie" "Really, 'it's no biggie', you're going to the vinyl store that YOU never take me to" "You're always with YOUR boyfriend". Silence... "Y/N I'm sorry I can't be mad at you forever" "Anyways Y/N you and Martin are a thing now, hm" Lara asks "We are NOT a thing, we're just-" you pause "hanging out, you know like" "Thats enough" Megan said "Now you and I both know that you like him" "But I don-" "Nope you can't hide your feelings and thats okay" Lara said "But I-" "It's cool Y/N just accept the fact you like him, confess, then date, easy." Manon said. And you knew you liked him, you just didn't want to tell them because they would end up being right. "Guys can you just help me find an outfit for tonight" "Since you asked so nicely I guess we will" you roll your eye at their sarcasm.
As soon as school ended your friends rushed you to your house and instantly in your closet, on their phones looking for outfit ideas and ways to style you hair on your bed. "Is all of this necessary?" You ask "Very" Megan said as she started doing braids in your hair. You then look at this mess of clothes that you denied on the floor "This one?" Lara asks showing you a long sleeve black dress. Manon looks up "First of ew, second it's going to be hot out" "Your right" Lara agrees then drops the piece of clothes on the floor with the other piles of clothes. "This?" She shows you a a green shirt and found a skirt to go with it. "Oo I like this one" Megan said. "Me too" Manon said "I guess I'm going with this then" You get up and head to you're closet to try on the outfit Lara picked out. "Y/N you look so good" Manon said Megan whistled at you "Damn girl" Lara said "You guys are so embarrassing" "You know you love us" Megan said.
Then the door bell rung. You all froze. Then your mom called you "Y/N someone's here to see you" then you all rush to finish getting you ready "Lara grab belt, oh and grab those sandals" And as you finished you put on a black headband to cover your undone edges and rush down the stairs. You then saw your mom and your date Martin sitting on the couch with her showing you very embarrassing baby picture "And this is her when she was 2" "Um I'm ready to go now" You're mom and Martin both looked up at you "Aw look at my baby all grow up, going on her first date" "It's not a date" you both said at the same time. Then look at each other then back at your mom. "Well, be back by 11: 30 and make sure you two eat something, and be careful" "Oh, thank you Ms. L/N" "No problem handsome, take her out when ever you want" "Mom!" "You two just go before dark" "Okay mom we'll be back before 12 and, Manon, Megan, and Lara are upstairs" You then hear them walking down the stairs "Okay I'll take care of them, bye sweetie and handsome" You both then leave before they could catch up to you. "I like your outfit" Martin said "Thanks I like yours too" Then it gets awkward "So like... what do you want to eat?" "Whatever you want" "Is burgers good?" "Yeah that's cool" you say still being a bit awkward. "Should we go to the vinyl store first then go grab something to eat?" You say. "Whatever you want, pretty" You stoped in your tracks Wow you thought. He really doesn't know what he's doing to your heart. "Oh, uh cool" Cool, really Y/N. You said in your head as both of you started walking again.

"I think I want this one" you pull out a lana de ray album. "Wait we should talk pictures with the albums, here" you gave him the same album "Then we cover our faces?" "Yep" "Excuse me?" You ask the lady next to you "Can you take our pictures please?" "Yeah sure" you give her your phone "You two are a cute couple" she says while taking the pictures. "Oh um thanks" Martin says. "All done" the lady gives you your phone back "Thank you miss" Martin says "No problem"

"You know, this is the first time in forever I've actually spent time with someone other than my friends and family" "Me too, you're one of the first girls I talk to... that was embarrassing to admit." "No it's okay, im not really a talker too." Then it was silence. Not the awkward kind. The calm quiet kind. You then let your head rest on his shoulder. "Y/N?" "Hm" "I know this is kind of rushed and-" "I like you Martin" "I like you Y/N" you both say at the same time. "What?" "Oh, uh, you go first" "I like you, like as in I want to date you, but it's okay if you don't want to date now, no pressure" "Oh, I like you too. I'd love to date you but maybe it's too early?" "Yeah, I just wanted to get it off my chest, y'know, I couldn't bare not saying anything, it was awkward to me." "I understand, but once we get to know each other better, we could start dating, I promise" you held out your pinky. Then he wrapped his pinky around yours.

"I had a great time, Martin" "I did too, Y/N" then the most craziest thing happened. You kissed his cheek then walked into your house. His face then turned red. He then pulled out his phone and called the group chat. "Guys guess what just happened" "Did it go well?" Seonghyeon asked "It's went perfect" "So then want happened" "She kissed my cheek" "Martin, she definitely into you" "Well she said we should wait, and get to know each other better, and she pinky promised me that when we did, we'd start dating" Martin said. "Well, get to know her better than" Keonho said, "You guys are not helping" He then hung up.
