And that part was true.
Phil hummed at her explanation, amused at the way she was offering it so intently even though he hadn’t asked any follow up questions. Really, she was quite telling sometimes, though he figured that might just because it was him who was talking to about this. “Considering how long their relationship has been rocky, I can’t imagine there’s too much going on that would upset Clint where Barney is concerned.” Except if there was maybe something going on between his brother and his handler.
