Preview of an Erurivetra Sugar Daddy modern AU drabble series that I'm writing
Note: To not flood my main blog, this story will be published on my Erurivetra side blog. I won't regularly update this but if you're into the ship, you can follow the story there :)
โHow much is thisโฆ monthly allowance again?โ Levi asks, voice wary.
โWell, since Iโm asking for exclusivity here, we can start with $4,000 a month. That should more than cover the minimum rate per date required by the website,โ Erwin explains. โIf you need more support, we can discuss until we reach something that fits your needs.โ
โSoโฆ thatโs $2,000 a month for me and Petโโ
โ$4,000 each,โ Erwin clarifies.
Each. The word echoes in Levi's ears.
That more than covers their monthly rent. Along with saving up to start paying the loans theyโd wracked over the past two years. Petra can finally get that art studio sheโd been eyeing whenever they pass by the building.
Hell, itโs enough to pay for his motherโs damn medical bills.
โAnd any trips we go to, Iโll take care of all the expenses and whichever clothing youโll be needing,โ the blonde adds.
โIโm in,โ Petra agrees, hands on the table as she reaches for the papers. โWhere do I sign?โ
โOi, what theโPetra, hold on."
โHe seems genuine,โ Petra defends, giving Levi an adorable pinch on his cheek as a reassurance. Levi swats her hand away, but couldn't help the rising blush on his face. โAnd Professor Smith has always been nice to me in classโโ
โPretty sure itโs because he wants to bend you over his desk,โ Levi hisses.
Erwin is going to put his three-year-old daughter to bed. He tells her a story and listens to her prayers which she ends by saying:
"Protect my mom, protect my dad, protect my grandma and goodbye grandpa."
"Why are you saying goodbye grandpa ?" Erwin asks.
"I don't know dad, that seemed like the only thing to say."
The next day, Petra's father dies. Erwin thinks it's a strange coincidence.
_
A few months later, Erwin puts his daughter to bed and listens to her prayers which end with:
"Protect my mom, protect my dad and goodbye grandma."
The next day, Petra's mother dies. Erwin is stunned. He tells himself that his daughter is in contact with the beyond.
_
A few weeks later, after tucking her up in bed, he listens to her prayers:
"Protect my mom and goodbye dad."
This time, Erwin is really shocked. He can't sleep at night and goes to work very early in the morning, nervous all day, constantly checking his watch. He stays in his office until midnight, when he finally decides to go home, still alive.
"It's the first time you've come home from work so late. What happened ?" Petra asks, astonished.
"I had the worst day of my life, but let's not talk about it anymore." Erwin sighs.
"You had a bad day, but you can't imagine what happened." She paused. "This morning, Levi the postman dropped down dead in front of our doorโฆ"
Absence shouldโve made the heart grow fonder, but everything has a limit. Petra Ral-Smith had long since accepted that sheโd be second-best in her husbandโs life, especially with Erwin being a commander in the military.
The Survey Corpsโ upcoming captain shows her what sheโs truly missing out on.

For someone who has a shitty taste at how he styles his huge-ass eyebrows, Erwin Smith actually has impeccable taste in women.
Levi would know, especially when said woman is sitting right in front of him. Sheโs currently reading through his work, eye patiently running through his chicken-shit handwriting and nodding in approval once in a while with a proud grin on her face.
For the past few months, Levi had been sitting with Petra Ral-Smith after Erwin advised him to improve his literacy.
Heโd given Erwin an offended sneer at first, but couldnโt help but agree. Levi wasnโt stupid by any means, but his level is certainly way below what would often be required from a captain in the military.
Levi would never understand how he got lucky to get a kind and gorgeous bookshop keeper as his tutor. Petra had been nothing but patient, even with his constant outbursts and embarrassed fumbling when he spells another simple word wrong.
He feels that small tingle to get closer to her whenever she scoots an inch, her hand guiding his to correct a curve in his penmanship. Heโd bring back the feel of her skin against his back to the barracks, his nights filled with thoughts of her gentle voice that heโd come to get addicted to whenever she reads him another passage.
But Levi is also utterly fucked because said bookshop keeper is married. Got hitched when she turned 22, as far as he knows. The damn coupleโs even celebrating their 4th year anniversary in less than a month.
And here he was, realizing that his stares has gotten longer and fevered dreams more scandalous. For his bossโ wife, no less.
โCaptain?โ Petra snaps him out of his stare. She closes the book and takes the fountain pen from his hand when she noticed that his mind had been floating in the past 30 minutes.
She gives him a small smile, standing to pour him another cup of the cinnamon tea she loved so much. Levi tries to discreetly gulp when he gets a good peek of the soft expanse of her cleavage when she leaned over.
Levi shakes his head and tries to bring himself back into the room. โJust Levi. The promotion hasnโt been formalized yet.โ
โI donโt know, Levi,โ Petra teases, a playful smile now on her face. โThe way my husband talks highly of you makes me feel like youโve been his second-in-command ever since you joined the Scouts.โ
He gives a โtchโ but couldnโt help the fond quirk of his lip at the thought of the blonde bastard. He and Erwin started off at the wrong footโwhich was an understatement when he tried to murder the guy.
Fuck, he wants to hate him. He wants to hate Erwin Smith, blame him for Isabel and Farlanโs death. Maybe heโd feel a bit better about feeling this way about his wife.
But without Erwin Smith, Levi would just be another street rat.
There would be no Humanityโs Strongest, quickly rising up the military ranks and securing a spot as a Scout captain. Heโd just be another damn criminal whoโd eventually find himself dead in a ditch despite his strength. Sad reality of the Underground city.
So when Shadis retired and Erwin took up the commanderโs responsibility, Levi didnโt hesitate to follow him to whatever crazy plan he had next.
โYou mean like Iโm his errand boy,โ Levi replies. โDamn bastard canโt accomplish shit without passing the dirty work over to me.โ
โIโll relay to him your concerns when he gets home.โ
Petra cringes the moment the words left her lips, eyes glazing over in sorrow. Levi finds his eyes softening in sympathy, aware of the Smithsโ current situation and what goes around in their house.
Levi decides to change the topic when he sees Petra receding into her own mind, the topic of her marriage to Erwin a current sore spot for both parties. Heโd learned all about it through drunken evenings with Hange and Erwin, through quiet late night study sessions with Petra.
โThereโs this book Iโve been meaning to check out,โ he diverts, chin nonchalantly gesturing to one of the shelves. โSaw it a week ago.โ
Petra perks up in interest, though her eyes are grateful at the change of topic. โWhich one?โ
โSomething in the nonfiction section. I think itโs aโฆโ he frowns. โA memoir? Shit, sorry. I didnโt read much back beforeโฆโ
Of course she knows that, he berates himself. Wouldnโt be teaching your stupid ass if she didnโt.
Petra giggles, making his heart melt further into a puddle when he sees the light is back on her amber eyes.
โItโs okay, Levi. Thatโs what Iโm here for,โ she stands up and gestures to him to follow her to the bookshelves. โCan you recall what the book was about?โ
โSomething about the author writing a full-ass novel while in jail,โ he replied, his face warming at the thought that he actually has a specific genre heโs interested in. Books were a luxury in the underground. The best you could get were racy calendars that were good as porn or a tabloid newspaper detailing the latest gossip above ground.
โOh! Iโve read that one.โ Without thinking, Petra takes his wrist to pull him to one of the rows of bookshelves and Levi allows himself to get dragged along.
They stop at the nonfiction section and Petra starts to pass her fingers along the titles and he tries to recall the book cover. The dim lighting at the book store makes it harder to see, and he steps forward to get a closer look.
Which turned out to be the wrong move as Levi feels his chest accidentally press up against Petraโs back. The warmth of the contact almost makes him shudder, as her breath hitches at the same time.
Petra seems to have also felt the shift in the air, her hold on a book slackening. She gradually turns, her look of wonder were as vibrant as her strawberry-blonde hair.
As if heโd lost total control of his common sense, Levi found his arms caging her in against the bookshelf, his knuckles whitening as he clenches his fingers against the wood. Petra backs against the hard wood, biting the corner of her lip as her gaze lands curiously on his mouth.
An act of bravery pushes Petra to close the gap between them, entangling her fingers through the hair framing his undercut.
Her lips were as sweet as heโd imagined them to be. Probably because of all that sugar sheโs fond of pouring into her own cup of cinnamon tea. She gasps when his hand rises up to cup her cheek, his thumb grazing against her cheekbone.
Petra eagerly reciprocates, her body lining against his that they almost knock the books and the shelf down. She guides his hands down, placing them on top of her hips in a desperate attempt to somehow get even closer.
He was about to hike her skirt up, fingers dangerously close to the growing dampness between her thighs when the bell on the door chimedโthe sound of its rattle almost like theyโd been doused in cold water for the sin they were about to commit. Levi shuffles back, his elbow hitting the bookshelf behind him.
For a moment, dread washes over the future captain as he expects to see Erwinโs neat blonde hair to pop up. The commander had always been ten steps ahead of everyone. Levi wouldnโt be surprised if his best friend already knows that heโd been lusting over his wife before Levi himself even realized it.
Fortunately, the visitor was just an old man inquiring about a book heโd reserved a week prior.
โIโll be there in a minute, Mr. Wensley,โ Petra calls over, voice dazed and eyes averted in shame as Levi starts to fix his mussed-up inky hair and skewed cravat.
The fuck was that?
Levi clears his throat. โI should go.โ
โY-yes,โ she stutters out, back still pressed against the bookshelf as she tries to catch her breath. โYes.โ
Petra never attempts to meet his eyes, even when he throws a hesitant but longing look her way. Not even when heโd hurried out the door.
---
For someone whoโs famously known for taking calculated gambles, Erwin sure made a huge bet on this one. Itโs not everyday the military would get a recruit from the underground. In fact, her husband never mentioned anyone even enlisting from the wallsโ poorest district.
Who wouldโve thought that the once-feral Scout recruit would now be her forbidden object of affections?
Petra had known about him since he joined the Scouts almost two years ago, but never formally met the man until her husband came to visit the shop eight months back with the rumored Humanityโs Strongest in tow.
โItโs so nice to meet you, Levi,โ Petra greets, making sure to wipe her dusty hands as sheโd learned that Levi has a penchant for cleanliness.
The short man blinks at her, hesitantly taking her outstretched hand for a handshake. โYeahโฆ same I guess, Mrs. Smith.โ
Petra stiffens. โJust Petra is fine.โ
She swore she could hear Erwinโs jaw clench at her reply.
Sheโd heard that he was rude, his company often unpleasant, but sheโd found herself waking up in the mornings eager to start work because she knows sheโll see Levi later that afternoon.
At first she thought it was just physical attraction. Despite his small stature, he was quite easy on the eyes.
But the man had been attentive, even when it comes to topics that he didnโt need to learn. It started when Petra babbled about why she left Karanese to pursue a career in Trostโs bustle. Levi was silent as he listens to her every word, and Petra didnโt even realize sheโd been talking for more than 20 minutes straight.
Sheโd blushed then, words stuttering as she attempts to apologize. Levi answered by asking her another question about which degree she pursued, leaving the young woman dumbstruck at the inquiry.
โWhy are you apologizing?โ He asks, a brow cocked up.
โI shouldnโt burden you with all these. You probably already have a lot to think about and a bookshop assistantโs daily life shouldnโt be any of your concern,โ she remarks, smiling sheepishly.
He shrugs nonchalantly, โYou just looked like you needed someone to talk to. I donโt like to talk. Itโs a good match.โ
Smitten against her better judgement, the rest of that evening was spent truly getting to know each other beyond the lesson plan sheโd drafted for the rising captain.
Eight months later and Petra finds herself staring at the glass door of the bookshop, hand clutched against her chest as her heart beats erratically.
She likes Levi. She knows thereโs no denying that fact anymore. The past few months theyโd met at the bookstore were the happiest sheโd ever been in more than two years.
At first she thought it was just because of her problems back home with Erwin. If one could still even call it a home. Erwin hasnโt even come back in weeks, save for when heโd occasionally drop by the bookshop to see her.
That either ends in silence, or heโd somehow find a way to smoothly slide himself to her bed. Theyโd be lucky if they actually had proper conversation.
Sheโd been young, foolish, when she met Erwin. Just barely out of college and had gotten her first job as a bookshop keeper when she opted to move to Trost. Erwin had only been a squad leader at that time, but sheโd heard of his valiant leadership and sharp mind whispered among the soldiers whoโd frequent the shop.
So when the man himself finally graced the bookstore, Petra couldโve sworn her eyes shined like stars.
She couldnโt even properly compute the total amount of the books he was buying at the time as her cheeks blush deep crimson. Erwin had smiled charmingly, taking pity on her as he computed himself and helped her double-check. Then asked her if she wants to grab a cup of coffee.
A year passed since that evening and Petra found herself eagerly nodding yes to a shotgun wedding right before an expedition.
Four years since and Erwin barely comes home nowadays. To think the Scoutsโ HQ was just 10 minutes away from the bookshop and her husband can only manage to come by at least once a week.
One would think heโd married his damn work and not her.
She shouldโve expected it. In fact, sheโd accepted it. Being a commander of the Scouts means that heโll always be dedicated to humanity than heโd ever be to her.
Sometimes sheโll look at other wives who wish off their spouses before an expedition. Erwin would usually be too busy to even tell her goodbye. Next thing she knows heโs already announcing the start of the expedition, leaving Petra to wonder if sheโd even see her husband again after their mission.
Heโd usually try to charm himself back to her good graces by bringing flowers or setting up a candlelit dinner after a long day at the bookshop. Like what heโll probably be doing again when he misses their 4th anniversary next week.
The cycle repeats.
Petra understands. She knows heโs trying, but sheโd be lying if she said it didnโt hurt.
---
If thereโs one thing that Petra can be considered as, itโs that sheโs a hopeful person.
Sheโd spent the whole Saturday evening off work donned in her apron and baking the night away, the lack of sleep her repentance from her momentary slip of weakness.
Erwin was still in the Scoutsโ headquarters to finalize last minute plans for the expedition the next day, and she knows that this mission would be a day longer than their usual.
Petraโs sure her husband would appreciate a pack of baked goods he can carry along the way. Better than the rations provided on-field.
With a brighter disposition, she now pushes her way through the crowds of both civilians and soldiers, trying her best to look for her husband. Itโs usually not a hard task, with Erwinโs bright blonde hair and imposing height.
Only to realize that Erwinโs nowhere to be found. She hears the Garrison soldiers gearing up to open the gates, and he didnโt even tell her good bye. As he often forgets to do so.
She deflates after another round of looking through the crowd, her hand slackening its hold on the bag of cookies. Erwin is probably busy near the front of the line, while sheโs here wasting her time yet again.
โPetra?โ
She stops on her way to trudge back to her house and turns to find Levi. This is the first time sheโs seeing him with his uniform on. Heโd usually visit the bookstore either with his black coat and slacks, or a more lax grey shirt and dark fitted pants.
Petra smiles brightly, genuinely, at the sight of Levi. She steps closer, reaching up to pet the horse sheโd heard so much about whenever she tutors him. Levi rarely talks, but whenever he does, his horse is the one topic heโd often default to.
โI guess I can officially call you captain now?โ she teases. Petra shifts from one foot to another, not really sure how heโd treat her after their little slip-up a few days ago.
But Levi had always been a man who can easily bounce back after a mishap, and sheโs grateful that at least the easy amiability between the two of them is back.
โItโs the same shit,โ He shrugs with a quirk in his own lips. โOnly difference is that I need to handle brats now. And more paperwork.โ
โThose โbratsโ are lucky to have the dashing Humanityโs Strongest to guide them then.โ
Levi gives out a single chuckle, sending a flutter of butterflies to her stomach. Sheโd heard it a handful of times since she started teaching him, and the sound never gets old.
โYou think Iโm dashing? Damn, woman. Youโve been reading too many fairytales in that book store,โ he teases her back.
Petraโs retort was on her lips, ready to continue this banter the way theyโd usually do whenever they wrap up their sessions at the book store when they both hear the Scouts being instructed to assemble.
He eyes the cookies in her hand with sympathy, knowing who it was for.
โIโll give it to him,โ Levi promises.
โIโฆ thank you,โ she hesitates, handing it over to him. โYou can have them if youโd like.โ
โYou sure Eyebrows wonโt throw a fit?โ
She chuckles, months of sitting through his dry quips and toilet humor and she still finds herself with a stupid grin at each of his attempt.
โHeโd already eaten them a lot of times before. Heโs not missing out,โ she replies. โMaybe I can bake some for our next session.โ
The captain gives her an acknowledging nod, knowing itโs her attempt to tell him not to die out there. He starts to tug on the reigns of his horse as Petra watches him leave. For a moment, the longing sheโd felt when heโd trailed his hands down her hips is back, the memory of his lips against hers as vivid now as it was then.
If only sheโd waited a few more years before tying the knot.
โLevi, wait.โ
The man turns, โHmm?โ
Petra reaches out without thinking, her hand quicklyโalmost shylyโworking to straighten his cravat. Levi freezes, their closeness bringing him back to their little moment between the bookshelves.
His eyes quickly scan his surroundings, relieved that all the other Scouts are too busy with their respective assignments to witness this quick display of affection.
โGood luck on your first mission, captain,โ she wishes him off. โIโll see you at the book store this Monday?โ
Throat dry, the new captain nods numbly as Petra gives him a disarming smile.
โActuallyโฆโ he suggests instead. โDo you wanna meet someplace else?โ
She tilts her head, โOh?โ
โThereโs this tea shop a few blocks away from the book store. Their selectionโs good.โ
Thereโs something different with this conversation. It feels like a step forward.
โDoes 8pm sound good?โ she accepts, her heart growing giddy.
Levi nods, โIโll be waiting.โ
---
For someone whoโd always, always thought ahead, this is one thing he didnโt see coming. Erwin guesses that maybe love truly makes you stupid, just as ambition can make you blind.
Heโd seen them, and while his suspicions had been confirmed for quite some time now, this is the first time heโd witnessed physical gestures complemented with emotional attachments. Levi was rarely caught off-guard, save for this one time when heโd looked at his wife as if heโs seeing a goddess gracing him with her presence.
Erwin had to step in.
โYouโre here,โ Petra says as he enters the book store, making his wife straighten up at the chime of the bell.
Sheโs currently manning the counter and double-checking inventory, but her mind was obviously elsewhere. Petra had a stupid grin on her face before he came in, eyes flitting once in awhile to the table where she and Levi often sat during their lessons.
โYou look surprised,โ Erwin notes as the wistful look on her face drops.
Petra bitterly laughs at his remark, โOf course Iโm surprised. Thought youโd have this unspoken schedule of seeing your wife justโฆ I donโt know, once a week? This is a new record for you.โ
โWe havenโt had dinner together for some time nowโโ
โAnd whose fault is that?โ she bites back. Erwinโs eyes narrows the same time his heart cracks at her remark.
She used to greet him with an eager smile and a new book suggestion whenever he comes to the book store the first few months after they met.
He sighs, showing her the two takeout boxes he has in his hands. Petra softens, noting the familiar aroma of the chicken from the restaurant they frequented when they first started dating. Theyโd stopped going when he got promoted to commander.
She gives him a momentary glance and wraps up her work at the counter, gesturing for him to sit at the table. It didnโt skip his notice that she didnโt direct him to the spot where she usually teaches Levi.
15 minutes later and sheโs back, a book in hand, and she settles herself on the chair in front of him.
โHere,โ she says, sliding the hardcover to him. โNew book came in. Not sure if you still have the time to read but I thought youโd like it.โ
โThank you,โ he says, seeing that the book is a military fiction book that Nile had recommended in the last meeting.
They both fall into silence, as they usually do in the past two years now. The takeout boxes and the book sit between them, with Petra trying to busy herself by poking the chicken on her plate. Erwin braces himself, knowing this evening is going to get uglier than it already is.
โI talked to Mrs. Mayers,โ Erwin cuts through the quietude, his hands clasped in front of him. โAbout your schedule. She mentioned that the book store will be busier in the coming months.โ
โYou donโt have to worry yourself about that Erwin,โ she finally replies, an edge in her voice. If thereโs one thing he knows about his wife, itโs that sheโs not stupid. โI work in this book store. Go worry about your scouting formations or something.โ
Erwin feels himself almost waver. For a moment, he thought that maybe she does deserve better. No. He definitely knows she deserves better.
He was 30 when he met Petra, near the peak of his career and despite the dead bodies piling up with every expedition, Erwin had felt like he was on top of the world. The only thing missing was his dream of proving his father right and a woman. Itโs not like he can take back Marie from Nile.
Even before he and Petra got married, they both already knew that he wonโt be as available as a husband.
Petra seemed to have accepted it. Sheโd always been a huge supporter of the Scouts, even considered joining once if she didnโt love her job as a bookstore assistant.
Even with the constant fights over missed birthdays or anniversaries, Petra had taken it all gracefully, heart heavy in an attempt to shrug it off as just a part of being a military officialโs wife.
That was until Levi showed her what itโs like to have someone with the time to sit down and listen to how her day went at the book store.
โOf course itโs something I have to worry about. I was the one who asked her for your time to assist the Scouts,โ Erwin says. โMrs. Mayers was kind enough to say yes, but I wouldnโt want such an old woman to be left without help in the store.โ
Petra pales.
โI think Leviโs doing better now, donโt you think?โ
A pause. โHe still needs my help with his vocabularyโโ
โBut as long as his reading comprehension has improved, Iโm sure heโll be fine.โ
Erwin met her first. Sheโs his. He can do better moving forwardโbe a better husband. Heโd been shit at it so far, but he can try again.
He just needs to remove this one obstacle.
Her mouth twists in an attempt to retort but Erwin beats her to it, โThe captain will be busier in the coming months with his promotion. He wonโt have time to sit down for lessons, anyway.โ
She chuckles darkly in her attempt to jest, her facade starting to crack.
โFrom the way you talk right now, Iโd think youโre jealous, Erwin.โ
โShould I be, Petra?โ Erwin asks.
Petra balls her fists, her shoulders stiffening.
It doesnโt escape his notice. None of it ever did.
She swallows. โNo. Not at all.โ
โItโs settled then.โ
---
Petra only gets a glance of Levi a few times over the next few months. She tried to catch him once before the start of an expedition, greeting him with an eager wave.
Heโd smiled backโthat small, shy smile of his that sheโd come to grow fond of during their lessonsโonly for another soldier to interrupt before he could even take a step towards her. Something about Erwin needing the captain for some last-minute changes.
Erwin was trying, the same way that she tried to acknowledge his efforts. In the end, the butterflies just wasnโt there any longer, and the quiet acceptance that the rift between them was far too big for any attempt at mending remain unspoken.
She knows it, and he knows it. Itโs become a self-destructive dance that heโd tried to keep under wraps with all-nighters in his office, and her with her books and growing workload in the book store.
But Petra had still gotten his message. Their marriage can be in shambles, their bed cold and empty. In the end, sheโs still Erwinโs.
โIโm not losing you, Petra,โ the blonde said with a finality in his tone, mind elsewhere. She knows that look. Heโd only get that faraway gaze whenever he remembers the father heโd lost because of his own stupidity.
In his eyes, maybe their failing marriage was the same.
She doesnโt know how else to reply, save for a regretful glance at their door.
Heโd proven his claim time and time again. Erwin started coming home now, exactly before Petra would try to step out of the house to head for the tea shop Levi mentioned the last time they talked. She doubts sheโd see the short man. Maybe in his eyes, sheโd ghosted him.
So itโs by a stroke of luck that Erwin had been abruptly called to Mitras this evening.
---
Petra bolts. The moment she got wind of Erwinโs plans to go to the capital that evening, sheโd packed her handbag and ran out the book store. She had to work overtime at the bookstore with midwinter coming closer, and more of their patrons had been visiting for some gift shopping.
Sheโd gotten out 15 minutes before 8pm, heart hopeful as she hurries through Trostโs streets. The cool wind hitting her cheeks feels like freedom.
Just a glance. A single glance or a word from him and that would be enough for her.
โYouโre actually here,โ she gasps in disbelief as she stops before the tea shop. The man sheโd been longing for was currently leaned against the brick wall of the establishment, his hands in his coat pocket. Itโs been months since his invitation, yet heโs still here.
Levi looks up, surprise apparent in his features as he takes in the sight of Petra.
โYeah,โ he replies.
Tears start to prickle against the corner of her eyes.
โLeviโฆ itโs been months.โ
โI said Iโd wait, remember?โ he turns away, cheeks red. If itโs because of the cold winter air or something else, sheโd never know. โI thought you hated me. But when I saw you in the last expedition, I knew there might be a reason why your boss cancelled our lessons.โ
More like his boss. But sheโd rather not think of Erwin right now.
โBeen coming here every Monday, brat.โ Levi reveals, drawing out a tearful choke from the ginger. โYou owe me two boxes of tea bagsโโ
Petra grabs his collar, drawing him in for a searing kiss instead. Maybe that would make up for his tea orders.
---
With the barracks not an option, Petra took Levi back to her house instead. Mitras was half a dayโs ride away from Trost, and Erwin will most likely be staying overnight in the capital. She and Levi agreed that maybe they can catch up on each otherโs lives in the months theyโd been apart.
Petra found herself on the dining table instead, with Leviโs tongue deep inside her soaked cunt.
His cravat was shoved against her mouth in an attempt to keep herself quiet. The distance between the houses in this neighborhood was too narrow that neighbors can easily be privy of anyoneโs affairs.
Sheโs clinging on to the edge of the table, hips desperately trying to thrust up Leviโs mouth. The feeling of his black bangs tickling her thighs was more than enough to make her go crazy.
He gives one last lap against her pussy before pulling away, drawing out a choked-out, pleading moan from behind the white cloth in her mouth. Levi mercifully pulls out the cravat, and turned her around before she could protest, her breasts heavy against the wooden table.
She turns her head, eyes wild at the sight of him tugging off his belt, followed by a quick shove down of his grey pants.
He was magnificent, her mouth watering further at the sight of the veins of his erection. He places himself against the groove of her ass before pulling her upright so his chest is against her sweaty back. Petra reaches up to tangle her fingers against his inky hair, while Levi positions himself behind her.
โOh. Oh.โ she moans out as she finally feels the slide of his cock against the surface of her nether lips.
He feels perfect against her, his rigid length sliding against the seam of her cunt and she can only imagine how heโd deliciously settle in inside her if they ever chose to cross that line.
It feels foreignโso different from the size sheโd gotten used to in the past four years. Levi wasnโt as big as her husband, but she finds that the extra attention he lavishes her with was more addicting than any physical superiority Erwin had.
Levi turns her chin so he can see her face, her mouth slackening the moment his fingers trail down to massage her clit. Petra squeaks, not expecting another form of sensation against her nether lips when the feel of his length against her pussy was already enough to drive her crazy.
โFuck, Petra.โ Levi starts to pump his cock in between her thighs, his hold on her desperate that itโs bordering bruising. Petra almost collapses when she looks down to see the head peeking through her clenched thighs with every thrust, the bulbous tip red and searing.
โOh, dear godโโ
โTell me youโre mine,โ he suddenly whispers against her neck, hand leaving her clit to run his palms possessively against the smooth curve of her hips. โYouโre mine.โ
โI am. Iโm yours, Levi.โ
He comes at her words, her tone laced with utter devotion and surrender. Petra feels his release sticky against her thigh, painting her as his. Itโs that thought and the final pass of his cock against her silken folds that pushes her to her peak, her wetness drenching the length still settled between her thighs.
Her hand reaches up to place on top of his own thatโs currently settled possessively against her left breast. She draws his fingers to her lips so she can pepper kisses against his knuckles.
They eventually found themselves on her bedโthe one she hasnโt shared with her husband for close to two years now. Sheโs currently turned to him, her breasts pressed up against Leviโs side, as theyโd sneak kisses in between.
This often led to Petra trailing her fingers against the hard planes of his chest, and eventually to another round of lovemaking, their craving for each otherโs bodies almost unbearable that sheโd begged him to just take her or sheโll go crazy.
โWhere do we go from here?โ Petra suddenly asks as they come down from the afterglow of their last round, her head resting against the hard muscles of his arm.
โWhere do you wanna go from here?โ he returns the question to her.
โWellโฆ we can just go about as usual. I know fucking your commanderโs wife can tarnish your reputation, and we also canโt compromise Erwinโs reputation among the Scouts. I wouldnโt mind if youโd like this to be a one-timeโโ
โNo.โ
Petra blinks. โW-what?โ
โWhat do you want, Petra?โ He clarifies. โFuck Erwin for now. And my position in the Scouts.โ
A vivid image of them together in the open comes to her mind.
She can openly wish Levi off before every expedition, and welcome him back and never caring about the blood that stained his uniform. Maybe they can even start a family that she and Erwin never got around to doing so.
They could be happyโher and Levi.
At the cost of everything else.
Not knowing how to verbally express her desires, she places a loving kiss against his neck. Levi just gives her a sad smile, accepting her silent reply.
Their feelings can never be out in the open, and Petra thinks that maybe that would serve as theirโherโrepentance.
May 12... A year ago on this day, I sat down in front of my computer and wrote Telomeres.
I was burnt-out from work, pent-up creatively, and thought that maybe I should go back to writing fanfics, at least for one last time before I hung the towel on anything fandom-related. I wrote that oneshot in one night, posted it in ao3 2 days later, and let it sit to be enjoyed for a fandom I know that's already small to begin with. Never did I expect to recieve such praise and support over it, that I ended up writing 2 more follow-up oneshots, and then an entire longfic over ideas I mulled-over for 5 years ever since AOT ended. I ended up not retiring from fanwriting, and even going back to art again.
It's been one hell of a year since then, and despite the hecticness of my real-life commitments, I don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon (but just slower in updates than usual because gradschool life demands my suffering).
Thank you to everyone who followed through and read my works and liked my doodles. And if you haven't yet, it's ok. The Telomeres series will not be leaving, and so will I.
gotta catch up on here! Lots more clients to list!
as an apology, hereโs a video of two POCers (from Attack on Titan, Caitlin Glass as Petra and Matthew Mercer as Levi), improvising a scene at Kraken Con, which wouldโve taken place before Petraโs final episode.
Me when I realize that she wouldโve been the best mom to a mini Levi โน๏ธ
And Happy Motherโs Day to Kuchel too! These two milfs in one frameโฆ Kuchel finds it cute that her grandson is just her son but kiddified ๐ญ itโs like seeing her baby Levi as a baby again aawww ๐ฅน๐
โOur sons do look so identical, donโt they?โ Is probably just Kuchel making friends with Petra ๐ญ itโs like โomg your son and mine look the same letโs be friends!โ But like in a joking way to lighten the atmosphere, we all know that even if Eren doesnโt look like Levi, Kuchel would still adore Petra.
Aside from confirmed canonical stuff, what are some other stuff you can say about Levi and Petra?
Well if we're talking interesting notions regarding their birthdays and such..
Levi was born on Christmas (December 25th) In Japan, Christmas is treated as a romantic holiday and it is heavily associated with love like valentines day.
While Petra's birthday, December 6th, is the day of the death of Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus).
What I find interesting is that Levi's birthday is all about love and romance while Petra's birthday is about the death of someone who is the prime symbol of that specific romantic holiday.
Levi and Petra as Claude and Diana from Who Made Me A Princess is my last straw nglโฆ Iโm hurting and I did this to myselfโฆ
This one is very much inspired by the song Multo by Cup of Joe ๐๐๐ itโs so Rivetra coded and I might make more content inspired by that song hahahahah damn..
And before anyone laughs at Petraโs drip choiceโฆ yes, I got lazy and I HATE drawing that godforsaken uniform but I also realized that the symbolism was symbolizing when I drew thisโฆ
Hear me out:
The white dress represents her soulโs release from the war and the physical body she left behind. However, the Survey Corps boots symbolize her refusal to truly leave; she remains grounded in the world of the living, still walking the earth alongside those she can't let go of.
I asked an AI to show what Petra's mother might look like, just look at this sweetest woman! ๐ And what a wonderful child was born to such parents! ๐ฅน๐
The biography of Petra Ral is a story of a life lived in a hurryโa brief, brilliant flame that chose the storm over the safety of the hearth.
As the daughter of a florist, Petra spent her early years surrounded by the fragrance of damp earth and the quiet labor of arranging bouquets. It was a life of soft edges, yet Petra was a girl burdened by a deep, unshakeable empathy. To her, the "stagnant air" of her fatherโs shop felt heavy with the unspoken debt of the walls. She felt that her physical agility and sharp mind were a waste if they weren't being used for the hardest job available. She was tired of hearing about the world through the filtered stories of returning soldiers; she wanted to map the truth for herself.
A few years before the Fall of Shiganshina, when Petra was only fifteen, the reality of that desire finally took root.
She was standing at the back of a restless crowd, carrying a heavy wicker basket of fresh flower deliveries. As the gates groaned open for the return of the 23rd Expedition, the bright petals in her arms felt like a mockery. The Scouts didn't bring home glory; they brought a literal storm. Their green capes were heavy with the dust of the outside world, and their eyes were fixed on a horizon no one else could see.
It was then that she saw him. He was a small soldier boyโscarcely taller than she wasโwith a face that looked young but moved with the weary, jagged precision of an adult who had survived the end of the world. As his horse plodded past the crowd, their eyes locked for a heartbeat.
It wasn't the kind of look that sparks a romance, it was a cold, violent awakening.
His gaze was particularly indifferent and detached, yet there was something else beneath the surface that Petra couldn't name. It wasn't the standard exhaustion she saw in the other soldiers. Was it a simmering hatred for the world? A bottomless, quiet anguish? She couldn't tell. All she knew was that his silver eyes were a hollowed-out void that made every other soldier look like an amateur.
To fifteen-year-old Petra, that unforgettable gaze was a revelation. It stripped away her romanticized views and replaced them with a stark truth: the Survey Corps was a dying flame, and if people like her didn't go out to feed it, the darkness would eventually take everyone she loved.
That night, Petra didn't sleep. She sat in the dark of her room, the scent of the shop's lilies thick in the air, listening to the quiet settling of the house. Around 11:00 PM, knowing her father was still awake downstairs, she finally stood up. She didn't go to him to seek permission or to plead. She went to tell him.
At 20, her impeccable record caught the attention of the legendary "Humanity's Strongest Soldier." She was handpicked by Captain Levi to join his elite Special Operations Squadโthe highest honor a soldier could receive.
The most tragic part of her story is that she never once realized who he was.
To Petra, Captain Levi was a force of natureโa man whose strength was as terrifying as it was reassuring. She spent every day at his side, memorizing his tea preferences, his cleaning standards, and the subtle shifts in his mood. She respected him, trusted him, and grew to love him with a fierce, quiet devotion.
But she had completely filed away the "small soldier boy" from the gate as a separate person. To her, that boy was a ghost from a past life, a nameless spark that had started her engine. She never made the connection that the jagged, grieving "boy" from the 23rd Expedition had grown into the scarred, stoic man she now followed into battle.
She lived her final year in a state of tragic, beautiful ignorance, never knowing that the loop of her life had closed the moment she stepped into his squad. When she died at 21 in the Forest of Giant Trees, she did so for the man she knew as her Captain, never realizing that the very reason she was standing in that forest in the first place was because of the indifferent, hollow look he had given her years prior.
She left behind a grieving father and an unfinished story, remaining a girl of the storm, a daughter of the flowers, and a soldier known as:
