Breaking News Today--GLAD and NCLR filed a lawsuit in federal court in DC challenging President Trump’s directive to reinstate a ban on military service by transgender people. President Trump is needlessly attacking courageous transgender service members who put their lives on the line for our country. You can find the complaint here!

Donald Trump Announces Ban on Transgender Troops Including 15,000 Actively Serving

SHAMEFUL. This harms military readiness and puts lives at risk. There are more than 15,000 active serving transgender troops. Threatening 15,000 currently serving troops who put their lives at risk is unpatriotic and dangerous.

It is the 2-year anniversary of the Supreme Court decision ruling in favor of the freedom to marry in all 50 states! It is not a coincidence SCOTUS granted the review of the Masterpiece Cakeshop, requesting a religious exemption from Colorado’s LGBTQ-inclusive non-discrimination laws. Discrimination like that is a violation of our protections here in Colorado and it’s wrong. Please share the word and stand with the majority of Americans who oppose such policies.

to be able to google ‘lesbian’ without seeing pornography

an end to the sexualization and fetishization of lgbt+ people in general, particularly wlw and trans women

legislation to add workplace protections for trans and gay people in all 50 states

repeal of “bathroom bills” that bar trans folk from using the appropriate rest rooms

recognition and remembrance for the countless individuals who died from HIV/AIDS and repartitions for the survivors

an end to the “gay panic” and “trans panic” defenses

media representation that doesn’t end with the characters’ deaths

marriage equality was not the finish line.
