Okay so halfway through like ep 3 I realized why I suddenly felt like doing a Me and Thee rewatch. It's because of Love of Silom. KritWayu reminds me of TheePeach (and some splashes of ThadaArmin).

Much like Peach, Wayu has to do everything to take care of his nephew because he's essentially all alone. Sure his mother is there but she's willfully useless. And not only that but she's the reason he had to drop out of school and work in a club to begin with. And then his sister abandoned her child who his mother refuses to even properly watch even though she is doing NOTHING productive with her time.

She's a parasite, so Wayu has to do any and everything to take care of Baby Singto and keep him protected. But who is protecting Wayu? Who is taking care of him? Easing his worries? No one. Wayu has one friend he can trust but he doesn't let on about how terrible his home life is to him.

But he does have Krit. Their first encounter was a rescue. He's a protector, A COP! Krit is someone who can and will protect Wayu (he's legally obligated to anyway). And much like Thee (and Thada), Krit wants to protect and take care of Wayu. From dressing Wayu's head wound, to taking him home, to walking him to his door, and letting him use his phone. The very first day Krit seemed to kind of take responsibility for Wayu. Even when they ran into each other at the restaurant and got into that altercation with another customer, Krit gave Wayu his jacket and waited for his shift to end so he could drive him home again.

I do love that Wayu is falling for Krit and so willing to trust him and confide in him and be vulnerable with him. Krit seems to be the only person who really knows what Wayu is going through at home because he's seen it. I love that Krit is also constantly praising Wayu for stepping up to take care of his entire family because no one else is. He sees that Wayu is trying and doing his best and crumbling inside.

Now where Wayu reminds me of Armin is his willingness to accept what Krit offers to him, I'm sure it's because Peach didn't NEED anything so what Thee offered him was usually extra. It was luxury. Like Wayu now, Armin was in a place in his life where he was in need of extra support and there was no one who could give it to him so he was willing to accept Thada as his benefactor because he knew Thada wanted to help him and he needed help.

Back to Wayu, he doesn't feel like he can't ask for help and he's not offended that Krit is offering him ways to help take care of Baby Singto. Krit took it upon himself to enroll Singto into a daycare facility that had onsite psychologists to help with Singto's development. He was taking Wayu to pick the baby up from daycare. And when Wayu asked to move in with Krit he immediately agreed. I know it's early but I think Krit would do anything to provide for Wayu and protect him and Singto. He really became an instant family man to midnight ballerina and a baby.

I know I'm kind of rambling but I'm discovering there's a very specific type of couple dynamic I'm always going to eat up every time I see it and KritWayu has that dynamic.

You may think it's a little quick for Wayu to be so into Krit but then Krit is making his subordinate look into daycares for Wayu's son and it's like so you both don't know how to chill alright

"Mata said that my mom went there to rescue my dad" --- Your family turned his family into a commodity and in the process of making them your chattel, you destroyed his family for your own profit.

Call this man Francisco Pizarro and his father Hernán Cortés with the way they are about to fuck up a whole entire people's way of life and destroy their land all for greed.

I came for the BL, but I don't give a fuck about the love story anymore. Do you and your people a solid and kill this colonizer before he hurts our boy!

My running theory as to why the JackDean relationship is so frustrating is because there is such a large Bad Bitch Differential.

Dean is a bad bitch, I would argue even the baddest bitch on campus. Jack simply cannot handle all that and instead of thanking god every day that he bagged the baddest bitch on campus, he fumbles him miserably.

Like, his lobster apparently IS too buttery and his steak IS too juicy, because he cannot simply be, like, “My boyfriend, who is handsome, insanely devoted to me, my biggest fan, and incredibly talented is so amazing that everyone wants him, to the point that people pay him simply to be around.
