ok so i had a train of thought

so i was thinking wizards all have wizard wishes, but the lady of the lake has one too?? according to the Internet, a witch is basically a female who has magic, which would apply to the lady of the lake (unless the endless woods change literal definitions of words, which i doubt). so that got me thinking… would that mean sophie has one too? and would she also have the other perks of being a wizard, i.e a celestium? japeth could only get into merlin’s celestium because he had wizard blood. and he was essentially a wizard. i mean he had literal magic eels how is he not a wizard. so this shows in sge being a wizard or at least magic in general is passed down through blood. so if sophie is a witch, wouldn’t her bloodline be as well?? what if vanessa was a witch and did not know about her powers yet. no idea how she evaded the school master but ANYWAYS is magic is passed on through blood and sophie’s bloodline is magic, it would have been shared throughout the generations. (TLEA SPOILERS) technically, agatha and sophie are sisters, so that means they are blood related. so that means maybe agatha has witch blood too? idk but i kind of want to at LEAST explore the idea of sophie having a celestium, maybe even agatha having one too.

this could explain why she excelled at magic at school. also witch agatha has so much potential so do what you will with this information. feel free to prove me wrong btw, as it probably is, one thought led to another and that led to a badly worded tumblr post so!!!! enjoy.

ok so i thought about this a little further and...

WHAT IF VANESSA WENT TO SGE???

ok but hear me out. we have literally no background information other than she’s edgy but believes stefan is her one true love. it’s explained she believes there’s a one true love because of fairytales (or at least i think it does. i haven’t read tlea in ages.), but wouldn’t it make more sense if she thought it because she was taught it?? it wasn’t specified (i think) what year she would’ve been taken, and even if it had she could’ve been from any of the kingdoms in the woods. That would lead to why she went to Callis for help, even though she was new to the town and no one trusted her. because vanessa trusted her, as her old uglification teacher. she was fixated on making stefan love her because she wanted to prove evil wrong or maybe be the first never to find an ever after? or maybe it was her 4th year quest and her infatuation with stefan drove her to stay and not graduate. sophie said her mother would have told her about going to sge, but i’m not too sure. if young sophie found out from her mother who she believed was the purest soul in the world that she was destined to go to a school where she grows warts and screams a lot, i don’t think she’d be too impressed. and i think vanessa knew this. so she withheld the information from her child.
