i love all the words we have that mean traveler. i love the shades of difference between wanderer and rambler and rover. i love the boldness of adventurer and the purposefulness of explorer, the lawlessness of vagabond and the capability of wayfarer, the quiet reverence of pilgrim and the wild rootlessness of nomad.

one thing that gets me about fallout games is that it’s always needlessly messy. in fallout new vegas no one uses vehicles but there are broken motorcycles in front of the saloon just like, in the way. why are they there? why are they not shoved against a wall or taken apart for scrap??? and when you go inside there will just be like random piles of dirt or debris. surely the people of the wasteland would like…. sweep the dirt outside when they inhabit a space? todd listen i know it’s the wasteland i KNOW there was nuclear fallout but if i were an npc in this universe the FIRST thing i’d do when moving into an abandoned half destroyed building is make it livable which means cleaning it to the best of my abilities. THERE ARE BROOMS! IN THE GAME! THERE IS BLEACH!
