❄ --Winter Night {Henry}
The cheerful tone in his voice. She couldn’t believe it was Henry from all the people, it’s been months since the last time she ever knew of him. She almost believed he had died somewhere in this city but nope, there he was standing in front of her, being as ridiculous as ever.
Though his comment as ridiculous it was did make the mage smile, she liked the other fellow plegian after all. A powerful magician from her home land she wanted to learn the most from.
"Yeah, yeah. Despite having to spend time with the Ylissean royalty they never did something as fancy huh? Never thought of it before, I wasn’t even going to attend this thing but curiosity overcame, you know…"
He… sneaked in the part—- Oh, he probably hexed his way in, how Henry of him. She giggled wondering what kind of hex he used but she was going to figure that out for the later… Though when he suddenly pulled a hat and placed it on top of his head she couldn’t help but stare. And not exactly in curiosity.
"Why did you kill someone in the bathroom already? I don’t even—- you resemble that annoying brat from Ylisse that smelt like dead kraken."
I'm sorry, was that a smirk?
"Drawn in by the lights and glamour, eh?" The white haired wizard simply shrugged. "It's a strange fascination, huh? I'm no good at stuff like this and yet here I am, partying it up! Oh, but remember what they say about being curious. Curiosity killed the Exalt!"
He stared blankly for a moment.
"Wait, that was gravity."
Seeing Tharja smile was always a rare but pleasant experience for the young man, a hidden creature that only had made itself known when certain bait was put out for it. Usually it involved a certain tactician, but particularly devious thoughts also tended to do the trick.
Walking over to the nearest table, he pulled out two chairs for both of them, playfully bowing as he presented it to the fellow Plegian. He continued with his story as he played the gentleman.
"Kill someone? I wouldn't say thaaaaaat." He brought a finger to his mouth, a sign to keep this under wraps. "Though I'm not really s'posed to be here, not many people are into the whole 'happy-go-lucky' death loving thing. Go figure."
He then broke into the accent.
"Everyone loves ol' Donald, though! So as far as anyone has to know, I was born on the farm and fought for food with Bessie the cow! Shucks, I even got the mark she left on my arm when I tried to steal some of her chow, yeehaw! Let's go wrestle some pigs!"
