Most of the impoverished communities have teachers that are not fully qualified to teach. While the low income communities keep getting worse, the white privileged schools keep getting better and better. We need more minorities to focus on their education and push! To make change in the world, we first need to understand what is wrong with it. Only we are the ones that can make change

This picture illustrates exactly how white privileged people try and not get involved with the inequality with minorities. Most minorities  can't get a good education while the privileged kids get the best education possible. The more privilege a person has, the bigger the educational gap is between the races. Everyone has to be aware to make change.

This teacher had a very good idea on how to show privilege. If we look at this in the context of education, most whites have the head start because their parents are able to afford early education while minorities have to suffer with what they have got. Privilege may not be in physical form(although some white people are the ideal privilege person) it is there. The more you know, the faster you can help stop it

Just wanted to say, for all of you blaming poor people in public schools for not being up to state standards, or not being good at math, or not being able to read, or not being as educated as the wealthy, our public schools literally aren’t required to provide a decent education. They aren’t...

This is what happens to minorities. We have to stay in this endless cycle where we cannot change the outcome if we do not fight it from the source. White privilege exists. They are trying to keep minorities oppressed by not letting them get an education.

       This is literally minorities right now. Most of the impoverished people do not know what type of education is good because that is what they are used to. We are all used to never questioning the teacher, having all of our seats face the teacher, and never questioning his authority. The educational system is making a fool out of us! How are we going to stand by while the white privileged kids begin their education before they are even 5 years old! We need to stand together and change our educational system for the better. We need to better our community for the future generation. We need change!

In today’s society, people of color aren't seen on the same level as white people. They give people of color shit jobs, a bad education, and overall a hard life. How are the people of color supposed to progress if they are the white people are always trying to oppress them? To achieve the same status as a white male, minorities have to work twice as hard in school, in their job, and in life.

Education either functions as an instrument which is used to facilitate integration of the younger generation into the logic of the present system and bring about conformity or it becomes the practice of freedom, the means by which men and women deal critically and creatively with reality and discover how to participate in the transformation of their world.

Honestly, we have all been been part of this type of education. Most minorities are not exposed to critical thinking. Education functions just to make us conform to the social norm of society. Instead of making us conform, they should teach us critically so we can participate in the world around us however way we want.
