How the Cullens discover it
When Alice came back from Ithaca, she had found a regressed Bella. She was cold, and traumatized from her brush from death. Everytime she could have a chance to see Edward, she relished it. She yearned for him to take care of her, to hold her like he had so many months ago. Alice found her curled in her bed, holding her lamb stuffed animal she had bought herself. She had her knees to her chest, with a far off glossy look in her eyes. Her thumb was in her mouth as she stared off, out of the window as if Edward would just appear. When she had noticed Aliceâs presence, she startled. The poor thing began to panic, tears quickly streaming down her cheeks.
âAlice?â She had asked, voice full of disbelief.
âHey, Bella! I missed you! Iâm so glad youâre okay!â She said cheerily, gentle and soft, the little one quickly soothed. She hugged her, holding her close. She soothed over her hair as Bella cried, clinging to her as if she was scared sheâd drift away.
Later on, after the run in with the volturi, Edward was the first to know. With him hearing Aliceâs thoughts, she had told him, and he easily accepted. When Bella found that instead of pushing her away again for regressing, she was welcomed with open arms by the siblings, telling everyone else got far easier. She left it up to them to tell the others, and they all accepted it pretty easy. When youâve been around for a century, or close to that, you get very open minded.
How they treat the little one!
Alice
Totally a big sister! She was Cynthiaâs when she was a human, and old habits die hard!
Bella can definitely expect to have a partner for tea parties and dress up!
Alice is also very good at Barbieâs
Since the poor thing is still pretty traumatized from her brush with death, Alice is very good at bath times.
She will also sit with Bella and read her stories or sing her lullabyâs.
Big fan of braiding Bellaâs hair, or just playing with it in general!
Bella reminds her of Cynthia, so itâs a bit of mutual healing for the two of them!
Once Bellaâs a bit more comfortable with it, you can count on him joining his mate and the little one in whatever activity they are doing.
Jasper
Very gentle with Bella
Originally the little one is a little wary of him since he almost attacked her at her birthday party.
Once the two move past that though itâs smooth sailing!
He loves walking with her in the trees, or giving her piggy back rides! Heâll run through the trees with her on his back just to hear her endless giggling.
Alice is very fond of this as well, her favorite times are often when her and Jasper are caring for Bella.
Will tell her stories of all the places heâs been and what the past was like
He does make sure to leave out details that would upset the little one though!
Will do his bat twirl when she asks, just cos he knows it makes her giggle.
Edward
Her main caregiver even though most of the Cullens treat her as their little as well.
Loves holding her while she sleeps or when sheâs feeling clingy.
Will jump tree to tree with her similarly to Jasper just to hear her laugh and squeal.
Will listen to music, play piano or read stories to her. Bella loves him reading her Shakespeare or other classic literature. She doesnât always understand the big words, but his voice is the part she really loves.
This kiddo has a whole lot of abandonment trauma, so after the events of new moon she is definitely wary of him.
Once sheâs sure he wonât leave again, she clings to him like no other.
Edward canât even make her something or get her a sippy cup without her whimpering and almost in tears.
He will carry her with him around the house just to stop her from being upset.
Little Bella doesnât have the best grasp on object permanence, so whenever Edward leaves the room after spending time with her, she automatically thinks heâs leaving again.
The minute he comes back though sheâs so ecstatic about it and clinging to him.
Loves calling her pet names! Will call her little lamb, or sweetheart more often than not.
Loves sitting in the meadow with her and letting her see his skin glimmer in the sunlight peaking through the trees.
Rosalie
Definitely the most distant in the beginning
She does come around eventually sheâs just very guarded at the start
Once she is a bit more willing to take care of the little one all that goes out the window
Loves taking care of Bella when she is super little!
She loves playing with her hair or playing peekaboo with the kiddo.
Will tickle her just to hear her precious little giggle!

Amazing at hide and seek, even though he can always find Bella immediately, he will really draw it out for her.

Sheâs lowkey forgotten how much humans need to eat so she has to learn to feed Bella the appropriate amount.

The best at helping whenever the little gets a booboo, or hurt.

She says this very gravely, all while Carlisle is trying not to burst out laughing.
Since heâs the oldest in the Cullen clan, Carlisle is her favorite story teller of the past.
When he puts into perspective that he was born less than 30 years after Shakespeare died she gapes at him.
He doesnât spend nearly as much time with little Bella, but she is his go to when the rest have to hunt.
Around him she usually regresses pretty young!
Will hold her close or bounce her on his knee just so she giggles.

Joel didnât know about your regression until coming up from a run earlier than expected and finding you on his floor in the living room, babbling happily as you played with old hot wheels. He looked in disbelief at your sock footed figure wearing an old t shirt of his and tiny shorts. You look notice of him after a minute, looking up and eyes growing wide. You began to cry and stumble over apologies with a lisp, backing away until you found yourself almost in the corner of the apartment near the radio.
Joelâs eyes softened as he approached you softly and carefully. âHey little lady, letâs come out of that dirty corner hm? Come here, itâs alright.â His gruff voice said comfortingly. You looked up in wonder, crawling towards him gently and slowly. He crouched down, opening his arms to you. You went a little faster, letting Joel pick you up into his burly arms. Joel thanked whatever god there was that he knew what the hell this was from taking that psych class in college before outbreak day. He held you on his hip, running a hand through your hair gently.
âHey little one, how old are you right now?â He asked gently. You looked away shyly and held up three fingers. He smiled and placed a soft peck on each finger, eliciting a giggle from you.
âYouâre a tiny little bub, okay you wanna take a nap together or do you want me to make something for you?â He asked, smiling. A tiny part of you adult brain thought back on the fact that this is the only time, pretty much ever that you had seen Joel not scowling while awake.
âUhhh daddy make foods?â You asked, looking up at him. His heart melted at the name and he grinned.
âSure thing kiddo, I can make you something to eat, Howâs grilled cheese sound?â He asked. You nodded happily, resting your head on the crook of his neck, inhaling the distinctly Joel scent of pine, soap, and earth. He sung a song that was stuck in his head softly. You recognized it pretty quickly, humming happily with him to the tune. So there you both were, your head resting on his shoulder as you hummed along with Joel singing Little Girl in Bloom by Thin Lizzy.
You sucked you thumb softly before Joel scolded you slightly. âNo honey thatâs yucky, you got a pacifier, darlin?â He asked sweetly. You shook you head, little tears rubbing down your cheeks softly as your eyes screwed shut and you tried not breathing to not sob.
Joel quickly set you on the counter, taking off your grilled cheese so it didnât burn before coming up to you and stroking away the tears with his large, calloused thumbs. He briefly thought your resembled a cherub when you were this small. âSugar you gotta breathe, come on darlin, breathe for daddy, itâs alright, I can grab you one or a teether honey bee, but you gotta breatheâ he said, trying to breathe audibly to have you copy his breathing. You let out a sob as you began breathing, looking up at him as you kept sobbing.
âGood job honey bee, good girl, cmon honey now you gotta calm it down, breathe with daddyâ he took a deep breath in, and a deep breath out âcmon babygirl, follow daddyâ he encouraged, rubbing your arms firmly and comforting as he began grounding you, your breathing eventually beginning to bring you back down, copying Joel. Joel let out a sigh of relief.
âGood girl, so so well for daddy. You canât just quit breathing on me honey, itâs okay to cry, itâs not okay to stop breathing, alright? You scare me more with no breathing before ever scaring me with some crying, okay darlin?â You nodded softly, crying slightly and frowning, rubbing your eye roughly.
âHey, hey itâs okay honey, you just did what you thought was right, no need crying over spilt milk, darlin, weâre both learning, okay?â Joel told you lovingly, kissing your temple.
âSorry daddy, m didnât mean to scare you.. I jus gotta be tough or I get hurtâ you said softly, lip wobbling.
If Joelâs heart wasnât feeling cracked already, you broke it.
âWhy you say that honey? Who told my little girl that?â He asked, carding a hand through your hair. You shook your head, biting your lip hard.

âNo, daddy hasnât eaten yet.â He said lovingly, smiling softly.

âItâs not my fault the idiot quit fuckin breathing, Joel. I told her to stop crying the run before last because me and you both know that stupid shit gets you killed with the infected.âTess said coldly.

He cooed and toed off his boots and changed into sleep shorts and a worn shirt. He picked you up and got into his bed, pulling a thick blanket over both of you. âI was only gone an hour babygirlâ he chuckled softly, swiping hair away from your forehead and kissing her forehead.

It was a liitle white lamb with a pink ribbon on the neck. âI saw it and didnât think you had any stuffed animals, and it reminded me of you so much I had to get it for my little lambâ he said affectionately, giving you the stuffed lamb.
You really weâre crying now, grabbing your stuffed lamb and holding it close. You began getting into his lap, burying your face in his chest as you cried.
âThank youâs sâmuch, i love it allâ you cried, holding onto him so tight, like you were scared heâd disappear. He hugged you tightly, holding you in his burly arms.
âYouâre welcome, darlin, you like em?â He asked, running a hand through your hair.
You noddedâI love em, daddyâ you smiled, kissing him on the cheek. He smiled, thumbing away your tears.
âOkay darlin I think weâve had enough excitement that a nap is in order, you want your pacifier?â He asked.
You smiled, nodding happily as he put the pacifier in your mouth. You clicked the silicone against itself, getting used to it. He smiled at you, rubbing your cheek affectionately. You leaned into the feeling, suckling at your pacifier, feeling yourself get sleepier at the comforting item.
âOkay sugar, letâs get us to that nap, little lady, you got your lamb?âhe asked, smiling slightly at your droopy eyed, relaxed face. You nodded sleepily, rubbing your eye before wrapping your arm around his neck, holding your lamb in the other hand. Joel got up, hiking you up on his hip. He kissed your nose, smiling. You gave him a kiss on the lips with your pacifier still in you mouth and giggled. He grinned, carrying you back to the room and reassuming the position you were originally in.
âWuv daddyâyou mumbled softly around your pacifier. He smiled and kissed your head, letting the firm peck linger for a moment.
âI love you too darlin, so much. My babygirl.â He said lovingly and you held your lamb closer. He rubbed your back comfortingly, shaking his leg gently to mimic rocking your you. You snuggled closer, letting out a sigh of comfort. Finally you closed your eyes, sleep soon overtaking you as Joel held you in your arms, rocking you and humming softly. You felt safe for the first time in so long. Joel made you feel safe in this awful world.
You did the same for Joel. Gone were the nightmares of losing his daughter, of holding her as light rapidly lost in her eyes and her quickened sharp breaths soon fell silent. Joel hated hearing Sarah hyperventilating so, but wouldâve given anything to hear that rather than the silence of her soul leaving her body. For once he didnât let sleep consume him just to relive the worst moment of his life. As he laid with you, holding you tightly in his burly arms as he rocked you slightly. He drifted to sleep as you breathing evened out. And for once, He slept soundly, intertwined with you as your hearts and breaths moved in synch.

-Little Wednesday chews on her hair a lot which principal Weems doesn't like
-She encourages Wednesday to use the teether she got from Enid.

-They drink tea together while Principal Weems tells Wednesday about her and her parents time at school
-Principal Weems got a Sylvanian families silk cat which sits on her office desk
-Wednesday let's her little black and Principal Weems silk cat "hangout" while doing something else with principal Weems.
-Physical contact isn't a thing between the two, it's mostly just them keeping each other company amd talking about their mutual interest in cats.
-after THE events with a comatosed principal Weems (as the author i decided i don't have the heart to let her be dead) Wednesday ended up secretly missing her
-Enid took her to principal Weems office so Wednesday can get her little Silk from there to take care of it for her
-Since she has trouble expressing her emotions she usually shows her emotions through her little cat
-for example, if Wednesday says her cat is upset, she usually means that it's her who's upset.
-so when Wednesday told Enid that her kitty is worried about principal Weems and misses her, Enid could feel her heart breaking
-Wednesday got a get-well card with a cat on it for Principal Weems and wrote a get well message with Enids helps (though she of course only wrote the card because of her kitty!)

Wednesday has always kept her regression a secret, it's just something she does by herself, which really only changed once Enid found out.
Her Family knows about her regression but she's not really comfortable doing it in front of her parents. They know about it and support the fact she regresses but it's not talked about. While her regression helps her a lot, she's still embarrassed of needing it.
So when principal Weems found out she was very embarrassed.
It was discovered by Larissa Weems after Wednesday once again got in trouble for investigating. They were in principal Weems office and she was loudly scolding her for not listening to her again and just playing detective anyway.
Wednesday, who was already stressed as it is from the eventful investigation, was both very upset and overwhelmed by the scolding.
Her principals loud words made her feel both angry and sad, she was just trying to help, why can't she just see that?. The noise level of principal Weems voice was also getting even higher the more upset she got with her, which made Wednesday desperately want to cover her ears, runaway and scream. The combination of the harsh scolding with the overwhelming amount of noise just made the girl feel smaller and smaller. This left a distressed, slipping Wednesday standing infront of an angry, pacing principal Weems. Her hands where itching to move to cover her ears but instead she just tensed her body and pulled her shoulders up to her ears, looking at the ground while trying not to show how upset she is. Wednesday was just desperately trying to keep her composure and not slip even further. And this was working quite well, until Principal Weems snapped at the girl, who to her seemed to just be staring of into space.
"Miss Addams! Are you even listening to me?!". This sudden rise in volume was the last straw for the girl. Her hands quickly flew up to cover her ears while a whine left her throat. She quickly rushed away into a corner of the room, trying to escape the source of her distress, where she curled up into a ball, lightly rocking back and forth while still covering her ears, leaving behind a stunned principal Weems.
While at first paralyzed from shock at what she just witnessed, principal Weems slowly started approaching the distressed ball of Wednesday.
"Ms Addams? Wednesday?"
she spoke softly, crouching down next to the younger girl, who just continued to cower away from her. With a sigh the principal continued talking to her,
"I didn't mean to upset you, I promise I am not mad, I was merely worried for your safety".
This seemingly reassured her enough to lightly uncurled herself, still not looking at her, but it became visible that she was chewing on one of her braids, which Larissa Weems furrowed her brows at.
"Now, why dont we get out of this corner and somewhere more comfortable?"
she suggested. Wednesday seemed to like this and hesitantly let the principal lead her to one of the comfortable chairs in her office where she sat her down across from her.
"I'm sorry i was so loud, you didn't like that, did you?"
she gently asked the small girl. After a few moments she mumbled an short answer around her hair while looking at her feet
"scared me".
This, plus her overall demeanor quickly made the principle realize what was going on with the girl.
"That was quite scary wasn't it? I apologize for that. Now, my dusty old office probably isn't a place for little girl such as yourself. Is there someone who knows about this? Perhaps a friend?"
Weems asked, looking at her kindly. After thinking for a bit the girl hesitantly mumbled
"Enid?",
both suprised and glad that there seemed to be no judgement coming from the older woman.
"Very well then, let's go see Miss Sinclair. And just so you know Miss Addams, if you ever feel like this again and you need some help, my door is always open for you"
she replied before escorting her to her dorm and leaving her in the capable hands of a suprised Enid. The whole situation was a shock to Larissa Weems but it also strengthened her urge to make sure the girl stayed safe, despite all the trouble she'd put her through.
Wednesday at first avoided being around principal Weems, but after a while of warming up to the idea, quietly started wandering into her office while regressed, usually with her small cat in hand. At first Larissa Weems didn't interact much with the regressed girl, worried that it'd scare the girl away, who usually just seeked her company. Eventually she took together all her strength and approached the girl, who was just quietly sitting on a chair, looking at a small black object in her hands, which uppon crouching down next to the girl she realized was a flocked black cat figurine.
"I like your little cat Miss Addams"
she kindly smiled at the regressed girl
"Thank you, i got her from Enid"
Wednesday quietly replied.
"That is quite nice of Miss Sinclair. Did you know i like cats myself?"
Larissa Weems told the girl.
"Really?"
Wednesday asked.
This started a regular arrangement of a small Wednesday wandering into principal Weems office and them looking at books about cats together. Be that books about all the different breeds of cats, their anatomy, behavior or once in a while a picture book about cats, though Wednesday is more hesitant accepting them.
At some point Larissa Weems purchased a small sylvanian families Silk cat figurine because it reminded her of the time she spend with the younger girl. When she showed it to Wednesday the girl seemingly got a bit excited. She showed it to her with the words
"I have small cat friend now too Miss Addams. Maybe our little cats will become good friends don't you think?".
Now whenever a small Wednesday visits principal Weems, she puts her little cat figurine next to principal Weems silk cat so they too can spend time together while they look at books.
Wednesday continues to chew on her hair but upon principal Weems encouragement she occasionally brings her bat teether along, though she is often too embarrassed to use it around the older Woman. In the rare moments when she is missing her parents and feels comfortable enough to come to her with it, principal Weems will tell her a bit about their time at school, though she's pretty reluctant when it comes to Wednesdays father.
After THE events, with Weems comatosed in the hospital (with my powers as the author i decided she's not dead in this, but instead just comatosed) a regressed Wednesday found herself secretly missing the older woman quite a lot.
Enid took Wednesday to principal Weems office after she asked her to, so she could get the little silk cat from her office. Wednesday told Enid
"I need to watch it for principal Weems, she'd want me too".
One evening Wednesday actually went a bit teary eyed, which till now only happened after she'd had nightmares about one of her friends getting hurt, and asked Enid if she thinks principal Weems will be ok because "Her kitty misses her a lot".
A heartbroken Enid reassured her that she thinks so and that she'll be glad to hear that her silk cat was in good hands until then.

And it did end up being more of a Oneshot than Headcanons (sorry about that).

-Little age is 3-5. She sometimes regresses older to maybe 6-8 as well!
-Her main caregiver is Enid (I headcanon Enid as a flip, because I definitely think she would regress too!) but sometimes Xavier and Eugene will act as a caregiver for her too!
-Also Ajax! If heâs ever hanging out with Enid he will definitely act like a cool older brother type of caregiver if Wednesday is regressed around them
-Itâs difficult to tell when sheâs regressed because she doesnât act much different from when sheâs big.
-The biggest tell that sheâs regressing is that she gets SUPER sleepy!
-When she starts yawning and rubbing her eyes, Enid immediately knows that Wednesday is starting to regress
-Wednesday normally naps a lot when sheâs little
-She chews on her sleeves instead of sucking on her thumb.
-Enid was super excited to find out that Wednesday is a regressor because Enid always wanted to try out being a caregiver
-Thatâs how Enid figured out that she was a flip!
-Enid makes Wednesday a deco paci thatâs covered in black jewels and says âSpookyâ on it. It even has a bell attached to it!
-Wednesday has many nicknames, but some of the more popular ones are âLittle bat,â âBaby spider,â and âSpooksâ
-Wednesday whispers very quietly when regressed
-Normally, she doesnât like physical affection, but when sheâs regressed and trusts someone a lot, (like Enid) she will allow cuddles
-But only for a little bit! She gets squirmy after awhile
-She has an agere journal!
-She mainly writes in it (lists, about her day, facts, feelings, etc.) but sometimes she doodles if sheâs in the mood
-When regressed, she allows herself a teensy tiny bit more feelings than usual
-She still never cries, but she gets a little mischievous and playful, wanting to play tricks and pranks on her friends

-Xavier has zero idea whatâs heâs doing as a caregiver, but they draw together sometimes and he brings her drawings to life
-Eugene will talk about his bees and give her random facts about them. She listens intently, even if sheâs heard them a million times
-Ajax plays fun games with her on the rarer occasions when sheâs in a mischievous mood.
-He gives her piggy back rides, chases her around, and they play this game where she tries to snatch his beanie away. Luckily, sheâs too short to reach!
-Enid likes to brush and braid Wednesdayâs hair
-She will tie black ribbons on the ends of her braids to give them a more childish look
-Enid plays with her hair too whenever Wednesday will let her
-Wednesday likes curling up under lots of blankets
-She mostly regresses in the evening or before bed
-Likes star gazing
-Will walk outside in the dark with Enid and friends to âplayâ
-She pretty much just collects sticks, rocks, leaves, and various types of bugs
-She records them in her journal

-Enid gifts her a few plushies that are more up Wednesdayâs alley, like a black cat and bat. She got her a wolf plush too.

-Likes to watch Tim Burton movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride when regressed. Theyâre still âscaryâ enough to keep her entertained
-Enid will play simpler games like peekaboo with her, which manages to get a tiny little smile from Wednesday from time to time
-Also, I headcanon that Wednesdayâs family knows about her regression and are extremely supportive, but she barely brings it up around them. They respect her privacy
-But sometimes she will receive a gift sent by them thatâs related to her regression, like âBabyâs book of ghost stories,â or a rattle that looks like itâs made out of bones
-They donât ever mention it to each other, but thereâs a mutual understanding between them, and Wednesday secretly appreciates it

Hiiii! I wanted k request a Steddie daddy fic where reader is taking a bath and is playing with toys. She is having so much fun she doesnât want to get out of the shower and starts crying. They get her out of the shower and Dry her and dress her up still crying. Then one of the daddies bring her a surprise which is a new bottle and she calms down and they cuddle with her while she drinks her bottle sniffing a big since she was crying earlier

luckily, you loved bath time so it wasnât hard for them to pull you away when it was time.
eddie made quick work to fill the tub with warm water and lavender scented bubbles. you loved the smell of them and they helped you sleep.

âY/n?â Steve calls from downstairs, creeping up the stairs to your room as you havenât been answering your phone. The two of you are supposed to be going to a drive in movie for the new horror movie that came out.
âY/n? You in here-.â Steve stops short when he enters your room, staring down at how your sat cross legged on your carpet with a few stuffed animals set out around you and, most notably, a pacifier in your mouth.
âHey there.â Steve doesnât know what to think or do, he just stands there, looking at you with wide eyes as you stare back, neither of you move.
âI- Iâm sorry-!â After a moment the pacifier drops from your mouth and tears quickly coat down your cheeks, making Steve jump to sit down in front of you.
âYou donât have to be sorry, itâs okay, youâre okay. Can you talk to me? Tell me whatâs going on?â Steve really doesnât know why in the world you would be sitting in your room with a pacifier and toys but heâs seen enough crazy things to not judge.
âI- I got really overwhelmed earlier and- and regressed because of it and I forgot we had plans and I didnât call you and- and Iâm sorry-!â Your tears are heavy and thick, pouring out at a rate Steve has decided canât do.
He pulls you against him, shifting so you can sit on his thighs, tucking your head against his chest, and keeping a hand soothing up and down your back. Harrington knows how to help kids when theyâre upset and even if heâs not a hundred percent sure what regression is, he can take a guess, one that leads him to rocking the both of you in place.
âShh, honey itâs okay, youâre okay, weâre all okay. You gotta breathe, just breathe.â Steve assures you, being very thankful that your cries turn into sniffles.
âI- I couldnât focus on my homework and I gave up after a few hours so I could relax and regress, Iâm sorry I didnât call you.â Steve shushes your worries away quickly.
âItâs okay, you donât have to worry about it. Weâre still hanging out right? Iâm still here with you.â You giggle small when Steve grins widely down to you.
âYeah, youâre still here.â You sigh contently against Steve, sleep pulling on your body, and before you know it heâs slipping the pacifier back into your mouth with a murmur about how you need sleep.
