to bring in 2022, prism network invites you to join our very first event organized by @woahhwa! the rules are simple. in fact, it’s much like ‘secret santa’.

introducing cupid confidential:

you do not have to be a member to participate. simply follow the net, reblog this post and apply using this form!

you will be paired up with someone else who also signed up for the event, and no, the cupids are not two-way. your cupid is not the same person you are writing for.

once a staff member messages you with the necessary details, you can begin sending your assigned partner anonymous asks under a nickname (remember: it’s confidential, a secret) to get the details necessary to complete your fic. likes, dislikes, favorite things in a fic, and whatever else you want to know about them.

there is no minimum word count. write as much as you feel like, but remember to follow the network rules as usual. as a refresher: use proper warnings, use a ‘read more’ cut if the work exceeds 500 words or has smut, no smut if you or your partner is under 18, etc.

ONEWE reaction to silent treatment

A/N: Guess who’s a little rusty but tries to get into writing again 🤡

Giving

It’s obvious immediately that Yonghoon is giving you the silent treatment as he usually can’t keep his mouth shut

At the same time, it’s scary how easy it seems for him to stay silent, and really, he’s incredibly devoted to his cause and won’t talk to you unless you make him

He’s not one to give silent treatment often as he prefers to just express his feelings and deal with things that make him unhappy but occasionally, especially if he’s tired or annoyed, he will just stop communicating

Also if he’s upset about something that even he himself knows doesn’t make sense - like if he gets jealous

Depending on the reason behind his silence he’ll either respond in short, clipped responses and one-word answers or ignore you completely

But you better not ignore him when he’s giving you the silent treatment or he’ll get even more mad/sad (depending on the situation) and after a while he’ll be outright sulking, pouting and acting like a kicked puppy and good luck then

While making up it’s generally a good idea to start with skinship and praises

If he’s really upset he might not respond at first but give him a back hug, rub your face between his shoulder blades or something and he’ll melt, bonus points if you shower him in compliments as well

Still, if he’s feeling ashamed about his feelings, like if he got jealous, he might stay quiet for a while longer and just hold you close

Eventually though he’ll start talking and work to solve the situation with you, just know that there’s always going to be his hand somewhere on your body or better yet, you’ll be seated on his lap

These past few nights have been hell for you. Misplaced items, a smell you couldn't identify at night while laying down to sleep, weird noises and a black figure standing at the end of your bed, but the moment you blink it's gone. Everywhere you sleep within the walls of your apartment, the unknown smell seemed to follow you.

And there you were, shaking and curled up in your blanket in the corner of your bedroom while the clock striked three in the morning. Normally you would just ignore anything other then your TV but this time it was impossible, having just seen the black figure in your doorway again. You could hear their footsteps approaching and pressed yourself further into the wall to your side.

The footsteps then stopped right in front of you and it felt like your heart would jump out of your chest anytime. "Why are you hiding?" she heard a deep voice ask her and she was suprised that she hadn't fainted yet. Then was her blanket pulled away from her body and she hugged herself paying that she would survive this night.

"I won't hurt you." was once again the voice of the ghost to be heard in her complete silent apartment. Finally getting your voice back you answered him. "How do i know that? You've been ghosting around in my apartment, standing at the end of my bed staring at me like you're waiting for the best opportunity to kill me."

Upon your response a sigh could be heard and in the corner of your eyes was suddenly a hand to be seen. "Give me your hand, i'll help you up the ground must be hard." You turned your head around lightly and two legs with came into view, wearing blue jeans and black shoes. Your eyes wandered up, over his musclar chest that could be seen through the light material of his white shirt, his perfectly shaped face with brown eyes that were looking at you with interest, his blond hair and lastly his muscular arm and his hand which came into view again after dropping your gaze a little bit.

Not having sensed any kind of danger from the male in front of you, you lifted your still shaking hand and put it in his, getting a kind smile in return. "I'm Geonhak and i'm a ghost, it's nice t be finally able to introdcuce myself."

Dark Skies | Kanghyun | (a)

The wind was cold, dark clouds gathering high in the skies. There was tension in the air that could only mean a big storm on the horizon. How fitting. You thought bitterly. Then again, wasn’t that their mark? Wasn’t he the boy who brings rain? You sighed, pushing the door leading to the rooftop open all the way. 

Sure enough, he was there. His back against the wall and guitar propped on his lap. His fingers were plucking at the strings, but the melody was barely audible over the sound of distant thunder. He didn’t look up when you stepped out on the roof and he ignored you even as you closed the door behind you. You hoped it would make you angry. If only the storm of emotions inside you could be transformed into pure anger, then everything would be easier. Your feelings were dominated by a confused kind of sorrow, the anger lingering around the edges was slowly fading away. Nothing happened, after all, which was probably the worst thing about the situation.

Hearing no response from him, you looked up at him, only to find him staring at you.

Photographer!Seoho sighed, putting the camera down.

Then he walked up to you, and grabbed your had away from your face.

“You are beautiful.” He said agressively, before placing a kiss o your lips.

You blinked rapidly at him, before a smile spread to your face.

“No. We are beautiful.”

bad mood, fluff + onewe dongmyeong

It was nothing new, not really, but it made you concerned every time. It was so worrying mostly because you knew he doesn’t like being like this and it hurt you that he’d be upset. So with a sigh you put down your bag and lift your lips in a small smile before you make your way to the couch where Dongmyeong is lying, eyes focused on one spot on the wall. 

You crouch down beside him, brushing away some of the hair that fell into his eyes. He jerks a little at your touch, clearly unaware that you came home at all. He sighs in relief when he realizes it’s just you and murmurs an apology.

“It’s alright. Had a rough day?” you ask gently. He just gives you a sad look and shakes his head.

“That’s the thing! I had a pretty good day but I’m still like this,” he groans and buries his face into the pillows on the couch. You really feel for him, familiar with the feeling and how hopeless everything must seem to him at the moment. You sigh and run your hand through his hair.

“It’s alright, Myeongie. You don’t have to be happy all the time,” you reassure him. 

“But I’m supposed to be your sunshine,” he turns to face you, pout on his lips. You chuckle, tapping his nose.

“You’re always my sunshine,” you remind him, “And I love you no matter what. Now, do you feel like doing anything?” You kind of know what answer to expect, but you still ask.

“No…” he whines, “I’m so bored but nothing is fun.”  

“Let’s take a nap then? Or just cuddle?” you suggest, trying to find a way to help him, or at least show that you’re here for him. 

“I’m not sleepy, and I don’t wanna bother you,” his voice is laced with frustration and you know he’s beating himself over his feelings, which only makes you more worried.

“Baby, you’re not bothering me. Make some space for me, okay? I’ll watch something and you can watch with me or just lay next to me,” you pet his head and even if he looks sceptical about your idea, he scoots closer to the edge of the couch, allowing you to lie down behind him. You pull a blanket over both of you and hug him from behind, hand on his chest and holding one of his hands for more comfort. Despite his earlier hesitation, it seems he relaxed a little and every step forwards counts so you’re happy.

You put on some show netflix recommended and find it actually enjoyable, although not as much as the warmth radiating from your boyfriend curled in your arms, or his soft hair that flows between your fingers like silk. And being able to shower his shoulder and neck with kisses is a bonus too.

He’s being way too quiet, though, you realize after a few minutes. And he stopped shifting and stirring as well. You move carefully, lifting yourself just enough to see him with his eyes closed and his face peaceful and relaxed. You smile a little to yourself and lie back down. You kiss his shoulder one more time before lowering the volume of the tv and focusing on the show.

you know when youngjo just. smiles with those sparkly eyes while he's looking at someone??? yeah that's him when he hears you speak in your first language. not just the first time, he always looks like that when you do, i can't do this 💔 he would start asking you to translate what you said and he'd memorize a few words eventually. probably asks you to teach him some simple words and sentences, he'd def want to be involved and learn the language after hearing you the first time!!

seoho would probably be surprised simply bc he didn't expect you to speak in your mother tongue in front of him but then he'd just be amazed at how you can be fluent in multiple languages!! like youngjo, he'd also ask you to translate some things you said, and he'd try to secretly learn the language on his own to surprise you one day.

another one to be amazed, geonhak would actually enjoy hearing your voice when you speak in your mother tongue bc it sounds a bit different from usual!! he'd pick up some word and sentences as time passed but i think he'd only start making an effort to learn it fully when he met your parents (if they only speak your native language) and became closer to your family.

keonhee would probably already have dipped into learning the language ngl, but he might get a bit lost or stuck learning so hearing you speak was both good practice for him and a push for him to ask you for help with learning!! so you'd often have study dates when both your schedules allowed <3 also listens to music in your language and always shares his favourites with you!!

hwanwoong would love to hear you speak in your mother tongue. honestly he'd be like "i don't understand but go off legend!!!!", very supportive bc he doesn't want you to feel awkward for speaking a different language in front of him. he'd learn some things along the way and probably watch shows or movies in your language so be can learn some more. also i can see him asking you to translate pick-up lines just to see you embarrassed... good luck ksdbn

like keonhee, dongju would also have started learning some things by himself in his free time. he absolutely wants to be able to have conversations with you in your first language at some point and he puts great effort into it!! so don't be surprised if he ever replies or speaks to you in your mother tongue, boy's got a textbook on his nightstand and duolingo on his phone.

although i titled this normally, the format will be a bit different because i think they would more or less act in similar ways. i hope that's okay! i admit i'm,,, also not greatly informed in this matter but i think i understand the gist of it, so i hope this is alright. if i've written anything incorrect please do feel free to correct me!

i believe the concept would probably be unfamiliar to all of them, but if any happened to already know about it, i think it'd likely be dongju. he seems like the type to pay attention to things like this just to educate himself, so it's possible he had heard about it before. (however, for this scenario, let's assume they don't know what it is)

i think they all would ask their s/o to explain in more detail so they can understand the concept and their s/o themselves a bit better. they can tell it's something important so they'd pay close attention to it. they'd for sure ask what pronouns they prefer and would try to stick to that!

i can see seoho looking it up online out of curiosity—he'd want to learn more about it for his s/o, but also for the sake of learning something new. youngjo & dongju would also research, but in this case, i feel it would be in order to understand their s/o better and, if they're okay with that, they'd likely bring it up again to ask how they knew they preferred different pronouns, etc. geonhak & hwanwoong would probably leave it at that and wouldn't push the subject bc they're not sure if their s/o is comfortable with that or not; they'd accept them and move on essentially. keonhee would want to know more but he'd wait until his s/o brings it up again or until he feels the timing is right to ask about their experiences, but i believe the first thing he'd so is express how grateful he is to his s/o that they are comfortable enough to tell him something so important. they would all support you 100%, but keonhee would just go the extra mile.

KPOPSCAPE is a network that aims to help content creators of any race and/or gender promote their works to a wider audience. Our network helps to create a space that allows content creators to establish friendships, learn new skills, and have a safe space!
