I don’t think she’ll get my pun
she didn’t
The jig is up
if i was harry, i would have stuck a letter down the front of my pants and ran out on the front lawn bc
the dursleys aren’t gonna chase me and cause a scene, it’d upset their pristine reputation
if they DID chase me out, they’d have to put their hand down my pants to get to the letter and i’d just start screaming STRANGER DANGER STRANGER DANGER and fuck up their repuation for real
you would kill voldemort in first year at that rate
It slowly becomes a mantra; forgetforgetforget.
This sort of behavior used to irritate me until I learned about how invasive paparazzi are in America. There are no laws against it. I’ve also realized, that by flipping off the camera, the pictures can’t be sold to magazines because of “profanity”. So really, she’s just protecting herself.
Poor K-stew. I really think there should be more rules about the media. Yes, it’s supposed to be “free” but the way celebrities are treated by the paparazzi is absolutely disgusting. Your rights shouldn’t infringe on other people’s happiness.
OH STORYTIME GATHER THE FUCK ROUND FOLKS.
So a few months ago at my job (I work in a theater in the Times Square area), we have our lobby, and first it’s a glass set of the doors into the box office, then into the theater proper. In the middle of the show I’m in the lobby relieving a coworker when a guy with a camera kind of … looks in and then opens the door and steps in. This is normal, we get people coming into the lobby a lot because it’s where the the box office is. But before we have time to even ask the guy if we could help him with something, he’s turned around taking photos of a celebrity getting into a cab outside (one who’s been in the news a lot)— she was incognito but sadly, you know. Outfit was not doing the job it was intended to do.
Anyway the guy is fast, those cameras are inSANE, so by the time he actually responded to us he was already finished and there was literally nothing we could do about it. With a quick response as to who it was (also it was rude because he had to make a joke about this person’s “problem” when he told us who it was, haha totally laughable right) he slipped right back out and left. Which left one of my coworkers so flabbergasted they actually got nervous like “are we going to get trouble for that” (there are cameras in our lobbies).
And I already had Very Strong Feelings about that sort of thing as it was, so actually experiencing it like that was just kind of gross. Especially when the guy, upon telling us who it was, had to mock and laugh about the issue they were dealing with (which isn’t really funny at all).
what if instead of laughing we did a death metal scream
We praise people for being “naturally” smart, too, “naturally” athletic, and etc. But studies continue to show, as they have for some time now, that it is generally healthier to praise schoolchildren for being hardworking, than for being naturally gifted. We know now that to emphasize a child’s inherent ability places pressure on that child to continue to be accidentally talented, which is something that is hard for anyone to control. When the children who are applauded for their natural skills fail, they are shown to take the failure very personally. After all, the process of their success has always seemed mysterious and basic and inseparable from the rest of their identity, so it must be they who are failing as whole people. When students are instead complimented and rewarded for their effort and improvement, they tend to not be so hard on themselves. When they fail, they reason, “Well, I’ll work harder next time.” They learn that they are capable of success, rather than constantly automatically deserving of it, and they learn simultaneously that they are bigger and more complex than their individual successes or failures.

Why is there no motherfucking Jean on my dash?
Nakata-san’s at it again, folks.
His tweet reads: “I was in Taiwan a few days ago. There was a naked Gilgamesh in the venue, so we re-enacted that one scene onstage!? Fate/Zero is very popular here as well (*^◯^*)”
The seiyuu for Kotomine Kirei, ladies and gentlemen.

A quick little thing that ended up being neither quick nor little, for an anon who asked how I do skin colors.
As usual, I’m not a professional, this is just how I do things. Hope I answered your question!
In the past few days, there have been at least 162 Islamophobic hate attacks in the UK, and nine mosques have been targeted with kives, petrol bombs and graffiti. That’s a 900% increase, according to the tracking group Tell Mama UK. Petrol-bomb attacks on mosques are not reported as terrorism, and nor are individual acts of anti-Muslim violence; we are expected to understand this quasi-organised campaign of fear as something else, as a ‘backlash’.
