Oh my god I think this actually might be my favourite moment from the vows. The way Magnus says it; the emotion is so evident in his voice and his expression, like he’s so moved by it himself. And the way Alec smiles in response because he knows, he knows, with Magnus Bane by his side he’ll never stop succeeding.
But that unspoken communication right before they begin their vows just ends me. Alec’s deep breath and smile, and Magnus giving him this subtle nod as if to say 'it’s okay. I’m here. We’re together. Let’s do this’ and it just floors me.

i honestly love that malec’s vows were them completing each other’s sentences then ending with words spoken at the same time and jem finishing the ceremony with “it is my honor to pronounce you one”. it just shows that their half of each other’s soul, each other’s heart, each other’s whole world. to quote the late matthew daddario: malec is one heart

Rewatching the proposal scene and it just hit me, especially after Alec says 'only if you marry me too' how far they've both come. From 'would you really risk your life for a shadowhunter?' to 'over-paying some warlock' and I'm really going through it...
The only remake I'm keeping up with right now is skam nl...what a plot twist
