Fate was once an enemy of his, something he considered not to be taken lightly because back then, he was under the impression that every twist and turn of fate was to lead him astray, away from the life he had perfectly crafted.
He knows better now.
Every twist and turn was to lead him to you. So, no matter how much you try to escape him—from your own fate—he knows you'll always find your way back. Whether it be the work of fate itself or his own, it doesn't matter; he and fate are friends anyway.
It led him to you once, and it will do so another infinite times.
He grows restless without you—like it's wrong to have you away from him for too long.
Don't you know how much he needs you?
There are times when you keep your distance from him, and on nights like those, his thoughts only consist of you, and when sleep finally takes him, he knows who he'll see.
You haunt him day and night, and he lets you.
Nothing else can compare to being wholly devoured by your ocean.
Saiki knows this is bad; he's aware of the deep hole he's digging himself, and yet, he can't get himself to stop.
You're too good to give up.
The moment you had pulled him inside of your consciousness, the way silence had enveloped his whole being. It felt like a deep ocean keeping him in its embrace, suffocating—comforting.
In you, there was no noise; in you, he could drown in static.
꒰ঌ ໒꒱ Synopsis: Reader as Saiki's family friend who has had a very (not) secret crush on him since childhood!
You, who, as you grew up, became more shy about visiting the Saiki residence and gradually started spending less time with his family.
You, who, when asked to call him for dinner, hesitate to call his name out loud.
You, who finally gather enough courage to make a plan to woo him, but lose confidence when consulting a well-known psychic.
"My crystal ball's a little blurry since you won't tell me who your crush is, but from what I'm seeing here.." she pauses, rotating the ball in whichever direction and murmuring to herself.
You felt your shoulder grow heavier and heavier as she spent more time muttering.
Finally—after what seemed like a century—she pushes away the crystal ball with a shrug and a sigh, "He's a simple guy, doesn't like being bothered at all. It'd be very hard to win him over."
You already knew that, you just wished someone would tell you otherwise..
You, who mulls over whether she should try or to just leave him alone.
You, whose visits were already few and far between, stopped completely when you decided to keep a distance between the two of you to keep yourself from doing something stupid—like confessing.
You, who, one day, were surprised when asked by Saiki to walk back home together.
"How come you've stopped coming home? Mom misses you, she keeps asking about you to your parents," he speaks up, breaking the awkward silence—though you're pretty sure the silence was only awkward to you, this guy thrives in silence.
Forced to answer, you fake an air of apologetic nonchalance as you shrug. "Coincidence. I was sick the last time we were all supposed to have dinner at your house."
If your life were a game show, there'd be a big, glowing, red cross right above your head right now.
He takes a few seconds before answering, as if weighing the truth to your word—you were always a nervous liar—"And the other times?"
"Busy," you supply fast. Too fast, in fact.
Busted.
"Make sure not to be busy tomorrow, we're going to your house." Growing up with Saiki made you very well-acquainted with the little changes in his tone. To others, what he said might've just come across as a nice little reminder; to you, it sounded like a sulking huff.
If you didn't know any better, you'd think he misses you, too.
You, who, the next day for dinner, go downstairs with the biggest smile on your face to greet Saiki and his family.
"𝓐 ko na lang": A tsundere and an oblivious person don't go very well with each other.
꒰ঌ ໒꒱ Synopsis: Saiki wants to be the one you invite to eat out with, but he can't tell you that outright—he has a reputation to uphold.
A/N: I find the fact Saiki is canonically a tsundere very funny. Also, the title is a song by Zia Quizon. The translations are pretty rough hehe.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Naghahanap pa ng maaya, pagkat sadyang wala kang magawa. (You're looking for someone to invite, 'cause you've got nothing else to do.)
"There's a small pop-up café event thing happening next week, and I want to go," you start, kicking softly from the ground to give you a boost on your swing.
Saiki looks up from the bench he's sitting on, "Then, go."
"But I have no one to go with," you shrug, "Maybe I should ask Kaido, or maybe Hairo—he doesn't seem like the type, but maybe he'll be up for it."
You would have asked Saiki, but you know he doesn't like being bothered on weekends—he says those are his 'free days.'
"I think Aren would go if I asked, Aiura too." You listed off mindlessly, completely oblivious to the exasperated stare from your friend.
"That's a pretty long list," he clicks his tongue, stopping you from continuing.
He wonders where he is on it—if he even is on it.
You nod, continuing to swing, "Yeah, but I'll probably ask Aiura, she's a lot of fun to be around."
And he's not, hm?
He stands up from the bench, not caring whether it was too random or abrupt, "I'll get going," he says, before adding a sharp, near-bitter comment, "Have fun next week."
So what if he's acting petty? Anybody would be if the person they liked was looking for somebody (else!) to invite out whilst in front of you.
It's just plain rude..
⊹ ࣪ ˖ What are you waiting for? Call my number, knock on my door—nandito lang ako. (What are you waiting for? Call my number, knock on my door—I'm right here just for you.)
It's the day before the event did you finally gather enough common sense to come to him.
whyen: saiki.
whyen: saikiiiiii!!!!!
whyen: KUSUO 😡
Saiki Kusuo: what?
whyen: are you free tmrw?
HAH! He knew it, you'd come crawling back.
Saiki Kusuo: why?
whyen: answer my question first
Saiki Kusuo: well then, no
Saiki Kusuo: im not free tomorrow
whyen: ngiiiii
whyen: really? I was going to ask you to come with me tmrw
Saiki Kusuo: what happened to that list of yours?
whyen: they all fell through, since it's school vacay everyone's all busy with their own plans 💔
Saiki Kusuo: i dont appreciate being the back-up
whyen: would you say yes if i told you, you were my first choice?
Saiki Kusuo: oh but i wasnt
whyen: oh but you were!
whyen: i just didnt wanna ask you cause you didnt like being bothered on the weekends
Always so mindful of others.
Saiki Kusuo: ok
whyen: okay what?
Saiki Kusuo: ok, i'll go
whyen: AHHHHH, TYSM!!!!!
whyen: youre my favorite now 🔥🔥🔥
Only just now? Oh, how his heart weeps.

"Ooh! Look, they have coffee jelly on their menu too!"
So, what? He came here for you, he was far too busy noticing how you dressed up for this to even care. If he wanted coffee jelly, he would've gone to Café Mami.
"Uh-huh.."
He decides to quit staring at you and bring his attention to the menu. Ultimately, he'd have a coffee jelly, but that's just habit.
Before he can even speak to voice what he wants, you've already beaten him to it. "Let's get a coffee jelly—just one though, so we can eat more of the other things." You mumble through the complimentary bread your server brought out earlier.
A small smile makes it to his mouth.
"Okay," he nods. After that, he lets go of the menu and let's your order the rest of what the two of you are going to eat.
"I'm gonna get the macarons," you decide out loud—as if he needed a spoken narration of your thoughts.
"Maybe a crepe too, you'd help me eat one of those, right? I've heard the crepes they serve are massive!"
It was food after food, and by the time a server came up to your table, you had already decided to get two drinks, a pasta meal, and more sweet treats that he could think of (all for sharing, of course).
"Will that be all?" The server asked after you'd listed off the things you wanted, you gave her a nod and a simple yes, and she repeated it to confirm.
As the food rolled in, he could see the regret forming in your face and thoughts in real time.
"Maybe we got too much, Saiki." You say with a certain disbelief in how the table was filling far too quickly.
We? He mused, this was all you.
"We could always just take out the rest we don't finish." He offered.
"Oh, right—we shouldn't touch a few things so we could bring them home. I'm sure your mom would like that strawberry cheesecake."
She would, of course, you'd know that.
The two of you dug in what he could only describe as complete understanding, you'd make conversation when needed and stay completely silent the next, just to appreciate what the two of you were eating.
By the time you two felt full, you still had a few untouched sweets to bring home to each of your families.
"I'm done," you sigh, shaking your head lethargically—food coma. He merely slumps back into his seat in agreement.
Right as you were about to reach into your purse to grab your wallet, he stops you, "My treat."
"What, really? I was the one who invited you, though. "
"Yeah, you've earned it." Plus, how else was he going to keep his spot as your favorite?
You look at him with an upturned eyebrow, "What'd I do to earn it?"
"That's a secret."
—
"Thank you for coming!" He heard the staff greet out just as the slightly swinging door finally closed behind him for good, along with the muffled chime of a bell from the inside.
"That was really good!" You exclaim, "Café Mami's coffee jelly's better though, but the rest of what we ate was really good!"
He let out a chuckle at your repetitive review of the place. Maybe you should make your own blog—tell people if something is really good—he'd tune in.
"Did you have fun?" You ask him, your body unconsciously leaning in towards him as you bring your gaze up to him. "I know I did."
"It was okay." He shrugged casually, basically shrugging off his truth—he had a lot of fun today.
Seeing the orange tint in the skies, he decides to walk you back home, and thinks of how different today would've been if you hadn't asked him out.

Hello! Update on my Confession series, I will no longer be updating it. I’m sorry it took so long for me to finally come out and say this but I swore to myself I’d finish it and posting this announcement felt like a promise broken—which it kind of is—but I finally got the courage to say it’s discontinued because i’ve got at least 3 anon asks asking me where i’ve gone and i felt i couldnt just come back without updating the statues of my series!
A/N: i’m so sorry for being so inactive, laziness got the best of me and i became uninterested in posting 😞 im sorry :(
Saiki isn’t much for video games. He plays them, sure, but he rarely does enjoy them—his psychic powers stop him from doing so.
At least that’s what he thought.
All the times he’s played video games were games with a story—a plot to follow that’s easily spoiled with his mind reading—making him naturally avoid video games (the popular ones).
So, when he found out about shooting games, it was like rediscovering coffee jelly for the first time. He was hooked.
Like a moth to a flame.

Pressing on the icon of the person who’d just carried you and your whole team you think that whoever was behind the PC must be someone on a smurf, there’s just no way someone can be ranked so high with an account only made a few days ago.
In hopes of getting through this season a little bit easier, you press invite. They decline. Oh, well, not like you needed them or anything like that (you do), if anything, they’re the one that needs you (no, they don’t).
You move on and queue up for another game, wanting to continue your win streak. God had other plans because lo and behold, who is on the opposite side of your match?
CffeeJelly.
The moment you see the name on the loading screen is the moment you accept your loss. However, accepting loss and unwillingness to try are two very different things.
Game chat:
whyen: pls go easy on us cffeejelly
Your teammates—who are surprisingly on VC—laughs at your message, asking why you’d beg for mercy from a random.
whyen: they carried our team last match
The game goes just how you expected it to go, with a broken win streak you decide to log off—no use in trying to chase after another win streak when the only thing you’ll do is continue the loss.
What you didn't expect was an invite from a default icon with the username Cffeejelly. The moment you join their lobby they press play, akin to some sort of a kidnapping.
You don’t mind though, you got exactly what you came for—not candy—a win streak.
You don’t even realize how long the two of you have been playing until they decide to log off.
The matches went by like a breeze, all easy and refreshing in the way you didn’t have to curse your teammates' whole bloodline so that they could understand what they did wrong.
Cffeejelly: it’s getting late, i’m logging off
whyen: oh, yeah. I didnt even notice, thanks for carrying
The things you and Saiki do that makes people think you’re together.
Title is from “M2M” by Cody Jon
Sharing food doesn’t come easy to Saiki. He’s a selfish guy—at least he says he is— especially when it comes to his coffee jelly, but when it comes to you? A simple palm laid out in front of him and he’d give you anything. (Others can try the same trick but it’ll only lead to a blank stare from him.)
He claims to hate attention and would rather stay in the background but the moment you give him an inch of attention—“Oh, I like your hair today, it’s extra pink.”—he’s on cloud nine. And for the record, his hair wasn’t extra pink, you just wanted to compliment him.
Even though he doesn’t talk much, you’re still all smiles around him, much more than usual with other people.
The two of you had wildly different taste in music back when you and him first met but now your mutual friends are noticing traces of influence from each other on the way you two liked your music.
You and Saiki seem to gravitate towards each other, you'd be on the other side of the room and the next second you're next to eachother and vice versa.
He knows what everybody thinks, he just isn’t in a rush to prove anyone wrong anytime soon.
Yandere!Saiki does a few concerning things regarding you.
A/N: ‘Yare yare' means Saikis or readers thoughts.
It took him a little while to come to terms with the fact that he was in love with you, but the moment he did it was like a switch turned on in his brain.
He couldn’t get you out of his mind; he’d do anything to make you happy.

The small meow of a cat catches your attention amidst the loud pitter and patter of the rain. “Meow!”
Halting in your steps to turn around, you peer into an alleyway, and there sits a white cat with green glasses— how is that even possible?— drenched in rain, looking up at you.
“Meow!” It says again, as if it was talking to you.
“Aww!” Crouching down, you place your umbrella in between your neck and shoulder to take hold of him.
Surprisingly, he does nothing to make you put him down, usually when you pick up strays they do everything in their will to make you let go of them.
“Aren’t you a cute one?” You ask the cat— in that stupid little voice that parents use on their babies, and it just looks at you; a smile finds its place on your face.
You forget just how easily animals can make you lose any unpleasant feelings, earlier you were just upset about the bakery not having your favorite in stock and now you’re smiling wide, holding a cat.
Already making up your mind to take it home— just to give it shelter until the rain stops— you stand up. “It must be so hard to be out in the rain like this!”
‘You’re just too good to be true.’ He thought to himself.
—
“Class, we’ll be having a quiz this week on friday, be prepared—“ Everything after that you tuned out, too busy thinking about the stacking list of things to do.
‘She really does know no bounds!’ You groaned internally, ‘It’s one thing after another with her!’
With a sigh you sit a little bit straighter in your chair, trying to at least look like you were listening.
The world has it out for you, you think, because not only is your schedule getting tighter, you also recently started feeling uneasy and uncomfortable in your classroom.
You swear, someone is looking at you! You try to tell your friends but they laugh it off saying that you’re going paranoid because of stress and usually you’d laugh with them too!
“No, you guys don’t get it!” You defend yourself, shaking your head profusely, “It’s like every time I step inside that classroom a pair of eyes just lock on me!”
But this just feels too real to be just a figment of your imagination.
Unbeknownst to you on the other side of your classroom lies a pair of pale purple eyes solely focused on you. ‘Can’t take my eyes off of you.’
The next day, you get the good news of your teacher canceling the quiz and her other activities— delivered by a substitute teacher, your actual teacher got sick.
I got sick and tired of my usual, monotonous theme so i thought i’d change it up.
Also, sorry if this doesn’t meet your expectations anon 😢👊 i tried to make it as less ooc as i can

Seems like the gods have finally decided to smile upon you, it’s one lucky thing after another. First, you’re in the same group as him, and then now you’ve been both assigned to make the graves!?
“So..” You start, looking at him for any sign of reciprocity for conversation. There’s none, oh well. “How should we do this?” You ask, and he just stares at you.
“Uhm..” You stare back and his face gets progressively more confused.
…
“Well, uhm..” Taking your eyes away from him and onto the materials laid out on the floor you start thinking of what you could do.
“We can make a mix of curved and rectangular graves.” You say, not waiting for his approval— he probably won’t answer again— as you grab the pencil to sketch the grave on the cardboard.
You feel his eyes on you the whole time, if he had super laser eyes there’d probably be a hole in the back of your head.
Shifting uncomfortably under his eyes you stop sketching for a little bit, “Aren’t you going to help..?” Wordlessly, he starts sketching by your side too.
Is he just not going to talk to you the whole time?
After a few minutes, Chiyo checks up on the both of you. “How are things going with you guys?”
Before you could even say anything she was already nodding and saying good job on the progress, like she was holding some kind of conversation with Saiki.
The fuck?
Are you missing a memo here or does Saiki and Chiyo have some kind of deeper understanding?
Are they, like, together..?
—
The walk back home is filled with thoughts about Saiki’s and Chiyo’s relationship, you can’t help but think that they’re together.
‘If they’re together, how come Chiyo didn’t pair themselves together??’ You ask yourself, “Maybe they’re keeping it lowkey.’ Another thought supplied.
With a sigh you decide to take a left instead of your usual right to go back home, maybe a treat could get you out of your own head. ‘Café Mami it is.’

1. You are on part 2. 3. 4. TBA...
You rise from your bed covered in sweat, your own uncontrollable coughs waking you. Looking over to your side you see that the clock just struck 2 in the morning.
You place a hand to your forehead, feeling the heat of your own skin. Must be a fever.
You let out a sigh, remembering the things you did yesterday.
“How are you gonna get home?” Your friend asks, eyeing the pouring rain through the window. “It’s fine, I have an umbrella,” you tell her.
Turns out, you didn’t have one, and instead you had to wait for the rain to peter out to get home. It also turns out that even drizzle can make you sick.
Usually, you’d be happy to miss a day of school—more rest for you— but tomorrow is the day your class plans out what to do for the school festival. You’d have no say in what task you want to be assigned to you’d probably stuck doing the worst thing.
—
The next morning, walking into class you see a piece of paper taped to the glass-board.
There, it says “Props: Inoue, Kato, Kimura…” You skip past the other names until you get to yours, “L/n,” and guess who’s it next to? “L/n, Saiki..” Followed by a bunch of other names you don’t care about.
Maybe, this isn’t the worst task to be assigned to.
—
“So!” Hairo claps, catching everyone’s attention on him while in front.
“Yesterday, we all agreed to make our classroom a haunted house for next week’s festival so I hope that everyone will commit to our goal and do their part!” He says, effectively hyping people up, even you.
(Though your reason why is completely different from theirs.)
Everyone dissipates into their own groups, discussing and sharing ideas on how to go about their task.
Your group, however—despite having the materials to start—can’t seem to make up their mind.
“We should make the entrance some kind of front yard, filled with tombstones.” Someone pitches, “Nahh, we should just start with the actual house.”
“But I think the front yard idea is cute though!” Someone else says, “Yeah, but it’ll take too much time!”
Yumehara sighs, “Let’s just do a vote, yeah?” She says, looking around your group for approval, seeing you all nod she starts.
“All in favor for the front yard?” Several people raise their hands, along with you, it’s a cute idea! Those who didn’t raise their hands are outnumbered so she doesn’t continue with the other idea.
“Great, we can finally have a start!” She says with a smile.
Throughout all this he stayed silent, damn, how will you and him talk like this!? You can’t be both the shy type!
Saiki accidentally catches (or rather, hears) a glimpse of your mind while walking pass you.
(Another description would be is that you play smash or pass in your mind. )
‘Eh… pass, would’ve been smash if only he had a better hairstyle.’
‘Smash. Definitely smash. Pass, cute but not cute enough. Pass, pass, pass. Damn, are there even any good looking guy here?’
What..?
‘Oh wait, over there. Smash, but dangerously close to pass.’
Stopping dead in his tracks, he looks around and sees no one, at least no one that seems to be thinking about such things. It’s not like he recognizes the voice, so he can’t just put a face to the voice that’s been intruding his mind with the words ‘smash or pass’.
‘Oh, holy shit! Who’s this cute babe with pink hair!? He’s totally my type, what the fuck, smash. Like, ‘till the sun goes up!’
‘Huh!?’ His eyes widened in surprise at her new thought, is she talking about him?
‘I’ve never seen him around though, is he a new student?’ Locking eyes with you he now realizes that the girl on the bench drinking from some juicebox in peace is the one he’s been looking for.
You swiftly turn your head away, breaking eye contact. ‘Did I say that out loud!? No way that after I said that he looked at me, is he some kind of mind reader?’
Looking down on the floor in front of you like it’s the most interesting thing you’ve ever seen in your life, you continue to entertain the thought of him being a mind reader. ‘Cough if you can read my mind.’
Are you stupid? Or do you think he’s stupid? No respectable mind reader would ever out themselves like that!
‘No takers? Damn, I really thought that would work.’ Okay, so you’re the stupid one. After that he decides you aren’t worth his time, it’s only a stupid game anyways.
As he walks away, you take another small glance at his way. Pink, and weird little head thingys. Cute.
He heard that, too.
Went scrolling through the saiki x reader tag—as one usually does and I saw this banger of a post:
Anyways, @mars-pngs, sorry if it’s short 😞 also, this is a crackfic
Saiki calls you by anything but your name. You don’t know if he does it on purpose or if he just doesn’t know he does it. “You,” “Girl,” and “Aiura’s friend,” are some of the examples of the things he calls you.
Now, even though the two of you are in a relationship he still doesn’t call you by your name. He just uses “love” to address you.

“You think they’re dating?” The whisper of a girl piqued your interest while walking past her. Who’s dating who? “Yeah, I mean when has Teruhashi been this close to a guy before?” Teruhashi?
You walk up behind them to try and get a peek of what they’re looking at.
It’s Teruhashi and Saiki, they’re eating lunch together and with a simple smile on her face.
—
The day after you saw him with Teruhashi you see a girl with a bob cut and a pink bow in her hair with him.
A bright smile can be seen on her face as she talks while walking beside him, Saiki on the other hand had a deadpanned expression, like he does everyday.
—
The next time you see him he’s with a different girl. You recognize her, last year she had transferred to this school claiming she has psychic powers and can tell the future— her reason for transferring here was that her crystal ball (it has a bunch of stickers slapped on it, how can she even see the things that psychic ball shows?) had told her that her soulmate would be found in this school.
You wonder if she’s found him yet.
The answer to your question was three. Exactly three other girls before you and him would finally be together— kind of.
Idk if this kind of format works so please tell me if I can do anything to make it better or if it’s confusing.
Also im so sorry for putting this out so late after the first post, school has been a bitch lately ☹️

1. 2. 3. 4. TBA…
No posts— excluding the new profile pic post, 3 bot followers, that one gray shadow profile picture, and a username that read: S_Kusuo.
Maybe, scrolling through instagram at two in the morning has merits.
—
You go back to the account a day later. This time you inspect it better—though there isn’t much to look at anyway—and you conclude that it is, in fact, abandoned.
So you send him a text, a simple hi. Just to test the waters out.
No reply, not even a simple read. From that day on, you decided to make him your own personal diary.
More parts are to be added! This is just like a snippet..? I think?? I dunno what to call this…
Also, by “mixed in with fanfic format” i meant to say that there will be written text parts of this story, its not just all social media
