They were exciting, a breath of fresh air in a sea of dullness and grey. Hestia couldn’t quite put a finger on the why, but somehow, this person had managed to capture their attention, match each word for another, a sharp wit cutting through where tension and awkwardness should have laid in the air. And they were beautiful. But that hardly mattered. Ignoring the little voice at the back of her mind that beckoned this stranger close, inviting them in as a sort of equal (Nope, no way, uttered another, indigent in their pride), Hestia instead folded her arms, noting how it extenuated her chest. “Only when I know I can win. Feel like getting into it?”
Greta snickered into her hand. “Not so much, tiger. In one fight and out another- is that just your default setting?” She was amused, and surprised by the fact that she was face to face with someone that meeting her wit for wit. It was something she’d missed by being around Pandora all too often- every snarky comment was absorbed and turned into sunshine. It got nauseating after awhile.
