dakota is a slytherin.

“mm - ” there’s a small click in the back of his throat that follows the ghost of dakota’s teeth. he is not disposable. al rams that idea into his own mind. dakota works in ways that are not very mysterious to him ; he is well versed in them - well versed in him. knowing all he does, it would be easy to consider himself naive for feeling the way he does. a hand slips to the back of dakota’s neck, drawing him in closer ; he tells himself again that he is not disposable. regardless of whether or not half his bed winds up empty tomorrow morning, dakota will still be his friend. maybe it is naive to think that the way his hips move, paired with how well they know each other, might be enough to keep him around - but so be it. he presses his lips against dakota’s ear and hums. “jealousy looks good on you.”

there are a fair few things that dakota is known for and after his last relationship being a great boyfriend isn’t one of them. but there are a fair few people that he would want to be a great boyfriend for : karlie koss, gigi hadid, rita ora, ryan gosling, the list goes on. but number one of the list is probably al ; for some unknown reason to him, because for the most part he isn’t interested in men. “does it, now?” with the grip he has on the smaller boys waist he pulls him closer to him, all but forcing their hips together. his tongue flicks out to moisten his bottom lip, a slight smirk blooming on his face as the song changes. maybe there’s a chance that he won’t wake up at the ass crack of dawn to sneak out of al’s flat before he wakes, however, he won’t know until that time comes. he wonders whether or not taking al upstairs to an empty bedroom would be sufficient, probably not, he’d still end up going home with him. round two is always better than round one.

there is an envelope in his hands, waving back and forth in front of his face. he’s been out of the house the entire day between work, family and doing some secret project he hadn’t been allowed to talk about ( this being one of them ). he’s dressed in lazy attire, a beanie over his hair as he makes his way into the kitchen in search for his little kitten. when his spots him a slight smile tugs onto his face, closing the distance between them he presses a kiss on the top of the others head from behind. dakota leans with his lower back pressed into the counter, holding out the envelope just big enough to hold two plane tickets to scotland.
