I am consuming a media and you are going to hear about it
and the thrilling sequel: i consumed a media months ago and you are still hearing about it
and the cautionary conclusion: the media has consumed me
I mean
adhd is stored in the ass
the a in adhd stands for ass
What do the other letters stand for then?
Ass Don't Have Dopamine
@shitpostsampler can I please have a pattern for adhd is stored in the ass
fuckin lol
Another day, another politician that thinks Trump doing something they do means Trump should get all the criticism instead of realizing theyâre both wrong
The difference here is that Trump spends tax payer money for his golfing and AOC spent her own paycheck on a video game to unwind. They literally arenât the same thing at all
Right, where do you think that paycheck comes from?
Were you born this stupid or did you have to work at it?
Ok, just to be clear, do politicians get payed with tax money or not?
If you honestly think a government employee spending their own salary is functionally identical to charging leisure trips to your own golf courses to an expense account and billing the Secret Service for being there, just because theyâre both paid for with taxpayer money, I canât help you.
But whatâs the difference in the end? They both paid for something with taxpayer money.
Okay. Itâs very simple: When the government disburses money to its employees in the form of a salary, the transaction where the taxpayer is concerned is concluded. The taxpayer has paid the employee for services rendered. What that employee does with that salary after that isnât the taxpayerâs business, since the taxpayer already got what they paid for.
To put it another way, you wouldnât argue that Doris from the DMV is âspending taxpayer moneyâ when she spends some of her salary on a pedicure and claim itâs the equivalent of a presidential golfing trip, or that a soldier buying a case of beer with his salary is a waste of tax money. Because you are paying them for the job they did.
In other words, itâs not fucking taxpayer money anymore.
It is, however, still taxpayer money when it is part of an account set aside for expenses incurred in the execution of oneâs duties, and the President uses it to pay himself for taking vacations, and to pay himself again for the taxpayer-provided security detail.
And even if I were to play your stupid false equivalence game: At $300 per console and a game price of $59.99, AOC would have to buy 369,455 Nintendo Switches with a copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons for each to reach the $133 million racked up by Trumpâs golf trips. So even if you were to blubber about how itâs all a tragic loss of taxpayer money either way, thereâs your fucking difference you goddamn moron.
Weâre done here.
me seeing the mailman buying twizzlers at the grocery store: wtf thatâs my taxpayer money
I used to work for the council, and my salary bought many video games. Come fight me about it if you like.
maybe its silly but i always love hearing about/seeing people in actual plays being genuine friends likeâŚidk hearing that its not just for the screen and the d20 cast have in jokes with the dice where they dunk on murph just. idk it makes me feel really happy and warm to know that itâs not just on screen, that theyâre really enjoying themselves and making the show is Fun for them.
Razzing is Murphâs love language and Iâm glad his friends respect that in the best way possible
me, a legal adult: when i grow up,
oh, to be the owner of a small bookshop on a cobblestone street with roses climbing the front of the building, where books are stacked about in piles and thereâs always coffee brewing and a sleepy shop dog lifts his head at the sound of the doorâs bell and thumps his tail against the hardwood
stop shaming people for being passionate about the things that they love. stop mocking people for having unusual interests. like, honestly, i'm so tired of feeling embarrassed for being "too much". if being too much means having deep interests that fill my life with romanticism and excitement, then let me be!!! i'd much rather listen to anyone ranting about their latest obsession with 16th century swords than have a boring ordinary conversation with those who shame passionate people
Dog bringing home his new friend

His new buff gf
i love them both.
Oh thatâs nice the dog met another OH MY LORD THATS A PANTHER
i love watching actors pretend to drink from empty cups. they canât do it. itâs like they never drank anything in real life. doesnât matter if they went to julliard or yale or have an egot or played hamlet on the west end. time traveling? fighting aliens? finding seth rogen attractive? no problem. but give them an empty cup and gravity fights against them. their imagination has limits.
have you ever tried to do it? to make an empty cup appear full? to pretend to drink air in between saying lines and hitting marks? do you know what itâs like to have gravity turn its back on you in front of a crowd? when there is nothing in your hand but a plastic cup filled with oxygen and everyone knows it including god? huh? you coward? you clown of all clowns?
nope! acting is the devilâs sport!
Ashley and Brianâs stream whoopsie: Brian forgets to bring the game on full screen after taking it down to chat
Marisha and Mattâs stream whoopsie: they almost burn their fucking house down
Fact: Bisexuals donât need to pick a side, however, when they reach the age of 12, they must pick a sword. Itâs an ancient ritual.
You fool⌠The sword choses the Bisexual.
A few people have asked what happens if you hadnât realised youâre sexuality at that age. Some bisexuals will intuitively pick or forge a sword before even realising their sexuality, though if this wasnât you, donât worry - you can choose a sword any time within a 2 year period of identifying as bi. Should you, however, miss the 2 year cut off, you can talk to the Bisexual Battalion Council though thatâs a last resort as itâs a really bureaucratic process and they only ever reply to emails biannually (either twice a year or once every two years but they refuse to clarify which).
Itâs obviously twice a year every two years
This makes everything so much worse somehow
My friend asked how I learned to cook and the answer is I didn't. I know like 5 things about cooking and they are:
Always use more garlic than the recipe calls for
"Ehhh fuck it close enough" is a great measurement tool
Find like 5 recipes that you like, adjust them how you like them, make them until you hate them
Clean as you go
If a recipe is from a mommy blog, you will need more spices
If anyone wants to add, please do
None of these are wrong.
Reminder.
To all the absolute walnuts in the notes: No, sitting down to talk with a Nazi if you donât know theyâre a Nazi doesnât make you a Nazi. Neither is trying to talk one out of their mindset. Iâm not sure if youâre genuinely confused about this or just sea-lioning, but on the off-chance youâre sincere:
The quote is about people being complacent and accepting of Nazis in social settings, much in the same way that rapists feel validated by rape jokes. Itâs about denying Nazis social validation and acceptance, which is a good and necessary thing.
Itâs about putting up a stink at family gatherings by refusing to share a meal with uncle Harry after he makes a joke about âsome peopleâ needing to be gassed. Itâs about standing up to members of your social group spouting antisemitic or racist shit. Itâs about challenging them. And yes, trying to talk them out of it is a valid way to do that. But if you canât, cut ties.
It means that if you are complacent, you are part of the problem.
So weâre supposed to give them a victim mentality that will sooner or later evolve into a revenge fantasy and culminate in actual revenge and criminal behavior?
You really donât understand that all this âpunch Nazisâ jargon does is making evil grow in hiding, until itâs strong enough to fight back?
And itâs not even a saying here. The good Doctor just made up some ideological bullshit.
Donât try to add nuance to a blanket statement after the fact.
Hello. Hi. East German here. We actually do say that.
AndâŚyou are aware that they already are violent? That they kill people as is? Remember the Zwickauer Terrortrio? Punching them doesnât make them worse than they already are - Nazis are always violent because their very ideology already is violence.
But you know what punching them achieves? It makes them afraid. It makes it so that they donât dare to try to climb on the herring barrel and shout shit at crowds. It makes it harder for them to recruit followers openly. Punching Nazis and openly ridiculing and shaming them makes sure their bullshit doesnât get normalised, aka suitable for polite conversation which, as I said, the quote is about.
Make Nazis afraid again.
MAKE NAZIS AFRAID AGAIN
Punch more Nazis.
