Well there went the ‘weird’ thought. Megan mirrored his smile and nodded. “Awesome! Are we watching this now? You’re not going home for the break?” She asked, having planned on staying on campus herself.

“I think I can at least agree with that sentiment.” She allowed her gaze to shift around, too distracted and unamused with the conversation. “Hm? Oh--Only since I transferred. He’s helped me around with adjusting. Even let me sit in on a few of his classes!”

Megan approached the office, her hands hidden in her long sweater sleeves. She never knew how to feel about being called for, in any case, but somehow in a college setting it was much more terrifying. She walked up to the open door, eyes on the ground. Her whole walk had consisted of trying to debunk why it was that she had been sent for, what she could have possibly done in her short time here to have gotten herself into a bad place. It must have been the flying, the wings. It had always been her wings. She brushed her hair behind her ear and gave a steady knock on the door with a shaking hand. “Professor? You wanted to see me?” She tried to stand up straight, to give off the aura that nothing was the matter, but somehow she could tell that she was failing.

“Family is weird,” Teddy commented and dropped the subject too, answering the next question easily. “I’m from Dallas, Texas…and technically outer space, but Earth is definitely home.

“I’ve only ever been to the UK once, and that was when I was really young. All I remember was that we went to this old place called Yorkshire and we were in a city called York, they had Vikings there. It was great when I was a kid.”

“What is there in Wales?” He asked, genuinely curious.

She quickly dropped the topic, and ran her fingers through her hair. “That sounds like an adorable trip. I’ll take you to see Wales sometime. Next time I feel homesick.” Which was always, though with a friend here she was feeling slightly better. “Wales has a lot of open space. I think you would like it there.”
