Thinking about how geto only really became a special grade sorcerer because of the coincidence of living in the same era as gojo.

I feel like people dont talk enough about how curses started becoming more powerful and occurring more after hidden inventory arc and geto jumped from 1st to special grade in that time period, similarly to gojo.

But unlike gojo, geto wasn't training to be stronger. It naturally happened because of the missions he was being sent out to and the curses he had to consume.

Its like,, he's just cursed to have to catch up with gojo if he remains as a sorcerer. He could leave sorcery in general but even the rational and level headed nanami couldn't do that, even after the trauma they endured as students so even nanami is a bit crazy for continuing this lifestyle.

Like, no sane person would accumulate the amount of curses geto had by the end of jjk0, even if he remained in the school and its sad how premature death had to happen for him to see a 'reason' to get himself stronger,,

its interesting that geto’s the type of person that asks for souvenirs and gojo’s the type of person who brings back souvenirs when he goes away.

i headcanon that this is their way of assuring that they will meet again after a mission and it just sort of became a habit for the both of them
