I fucking hate the tiktok therian community for what they have done to the therian community. They fucking butchered the community. Now folks believe they don't even identify as animals.

The therian community is dear to me, it is where I first realized my flesh wasn't human like I was raised to believe. Even if I am not one of them, I am fucking angry for the damage caused to the community.
It is a big deal, because it's not fucking harmless, this new wave of therians have pushed physical nonhumans out of spaces they created and are currently trying to take our labels.
I am angry, I fear the damage to be irreversible.
The community is no longer based off of the same identity that it once was
hot (?) take, but voluntary alterhumans and otherpaws might just be more punk than involuntary ones

expressing nonhumanity is (or at the very least can be) a very alternative, counter culture move. normative society limits people's self-expression, and one of the many things it prohibits is being animalistic. normative society puts humans on a pedestal and does everything it can to separate them from nature. being alterhuman is fundamentally going against that system by blurring those very lines it constructed
now, for involuntary alterhumans, expressing oneself is often a need, not a want
but there really are just mfs out there who choose to be unapologetically feral, not because they feel it in their core, necessarily, but because they want to
they actively aid the broader alterhuman community in propagating nonhuman self-expression and help us challenge the system, not because it's their only option, but because they saw it as an option and thought it was interesting enough to dedicate themselves to it
and that's so fucking punk!!!
we should be more thankful for our otherlinker, otherpaw, furry, and all our siblings in adjacent communities for popularizing our way of living, not because they needed to, but because they wanted to

fang dysphoria. i want my fangs to be sharper but theyre so dulllll it disgusts me. i hate the idea of someone grinding down my fangs when im at the dentists. i want to tear through meat but i cant because theyre TOO DULL.

Sword: his are supposed to look like the sun idk if it gets across. Relatively simple and joyous.
Rocket: the orange/red on her horns represents her past, therefore its location is near the nubs/the bottom of the horns. When they were younger, his horns were more of this color, but as he grew older they became bluer in color
medkit: his horns are originally a more yellowish green color, but have been painted to a more teal signature church pattern. Thus the lack of shininess. All inphernals with a crystal have an apparent neon star pattern that repeats on their horn(s). This can be seen also on subspace and coil’s left horn.
Skateboard: her original horn color was plain red, but the black and white racing stripes were painted on for cosmetics. His horns has a permanent crack, but its relatively unbothersome and not painful.
Slingshot: not much to say, as theyre the original horn color, but theyre cool nonetheless and i think they gave me the most trouble. Transgender horn lmao
boombox: his horns have little note cosmetics that are like stickers/painted idk,… just 2 be cool. Otherwise the under colors, like the orange and the yellow, are the original
hyperlaser: their horns are quite damaged, but they have four. It has a very cool natural foresty pattern, but the tips are gray due to aging and damage. Looks like snowcapped mountains
biograft: horns are artifically made and painted. It has sensing capabilities as well as energy storage. Breaking a biograft’s horns does quite a bit of damage to them, but they do have less effective backup sources.
subspace: the underpattern of the star-cystal shape is below the neon rot color
shuriken: originally pink, painted with green, but in quite liberally small amounts. During silver shadow missions, she usually goes all green to hide their identity.
Vinestaff: natural horn color! Calico/tortiseshell like
coil: left horn has the cystal pattern. Right horn is stripy and firelike, while right horn is more spot focused. Crack right under the crystal from frequent damage to the horn by cystal placement
katana: original horn color is red with the orange stripes, but base has faded to gray with age
scythe: original horn color is black, but she fades the edges with green. Has an eye on each one for the church
banhammer: natural horn pattern based off of windforce’s horns and their patterns!!
