It really is! I just hope one day something like that can happen for me. Yes it is. Family is the most important thing we have. She sounds like a really amazing woman. I can’t even imagine trying to do all that. I can hardly handle the work I have myself.

It is. We’re both named after characters in Romeo and Juliet since our parents actually met during a production of the play. It’s sort of sweet, isn’t it? Oh! No I didn’t mean that. We’ve always been really close, the two of us and our parents too. She’s really doing an amazing thing, I’m in awe of people who do so much for other people.

Well now you have me, sorta. And if all else fails, you can sit with my completely embarrassing brother.

That’s ridiculously sweet! I don’t even really like Romeo & Juliet but that’s adorable. Oh, well good! It’s important for families to be close, definitely. I do admire that about her, always have. She did as well for herself as she could, y’know? She was really young when she had my brother, so if nothing else, I’m proud that she finished high school and went to nursing school and stuff.

Juliet is a really pretty name. Were you guys not close then? Yeah, I give her props for that one. She’s a hard worker and a good nurse.

Oh… I guess? I mean… I never really thought about it like that. We never did things like that. I uh… I never went to any of my school dances so I guess the opportunity never came up. He sounds like a good brother.

No, it’s totally fine. You can bring a friend or two too, just like going to see a college ball game.

Well, it doesn’t always have to be stuff like going to dances together. But you’re just kind of going through the same hormonal changes and stuff all at the same time when you’re 2 or 3 years apart. Yeah, he is. Our Mom’s a nurse, so a lot of time, he’d have to babysit me and help me with homework and make us dinner and stuff.

Oh wow, that is a lot older. I don’t know how it’s really different, but I haven’t seen Juliet in a while.

You totally can! They’re open to the public.

I think with siblings who are closer in age, you go through a lot together. Like my friend has a sister who’s only a year younger than him and they went to formal together and stuff. But Papi was old enough to like make me dinner and babysit me and teach me how to do long division.

Oh cool. Papi’s like 10+ years older than I am. I like it, sometimes I just wonder what it would be like to have a sibling closer in age.

The lacrosse team did. We were the only team that year to win every game. He totally is...or he just wants to embarrass me, either/or.

Ooooh, dress shopping. How fun! I haven’t been in a long time. I bet it was still a lot of fun though. The shopping and the banquet.

It was super fun. Super duper embarrassing ‘cause when the girl’s lacrosse team got presented with their award, the dummy completely embarrassed me, standing on his chair, making stupid noises. But it was all a lot of fun.
