Graham grinned at the tease that left his love’s lips. Oh what he wouldn’t give to do just that, but he loved his work and the thought of living off of his families money, didn’t sit right with him. He had to earn his place in the world. & that meant long, frequent EMT shifts. Where he missed the love of his life. It sucked more than he let on. As she stepped away from him, he ran his hand down her back, before going over to his side of the room, rummaging through the lower drawers to find some decent clothes. “I always thought that guy had a thing for her though right? Like didn’t they have this weird understanding?” He glanced back at her as he pulled on boxers, and a regular pair of pants. “I mean he was weird to me too, don’t get me wrong, but Roxanne likes him. I get the weird feeling that he doesn’t eat wolves anymore, Ope’s, & that’s cause of your sister.” He pulled on a shirt before moving to her side and kissing the top of her head. “I know you worry though. Do you want me to send some EMT buddies to look around his campsite or something?”
Her hands lingered upon the handles of her wardrobe as she sighed heavily, making sure Graham had seen her glare that she was sending him. “Don’t remind me.” She mumbled stubbornly before sighing once more in defeat, her hands moving to wriggle his shirt from her small frame to replace with a dress. There were a lot of things Opal and her sister didn’t agree upon, and Fenrir’s lingering presence beside her pack was one thing they would never settle on. “I have no idea what it is, I just wish she would tell me. Weird understanding or... More,” Opal pulled a face at the thought, “Honesty is kind of still a big deal for us.” And sometimes she hated that more than anything, but they were still learning, still figuring out what it’s like to be a family again. Yet that was one thing she and Graham always had; honesty. “But he still has the reputation of a wolf eater, and that doesn’t say much about my sister’s pack.” Opal’s inner turmoil was clear as she wanted Ruby’s pack to succeed, but she still couldn’t shake off their father’s mentality. She kicked aside her sweatpants before finding herself a thick cardigan to wrap around her, a soft sigh escaping from her lips as Graham joined her by her side. Her arms reached out for him, wrapping around his waist as she pulled herself closer. “Yes please...” She spoke quietly before smiling up at him, “Thank you.”
