I really hope this series gets the true ending it'd deserves. I've been a fan of this show since I discovered it and it really does mean a lot to me. RWBY got me interested in 3D animation, in writing more fanfic(even tho I haven't been writing as much lately), and so much more.

I have truly loved RWBY with my whole heart all these years and I am heavily disappointed and devastated at what Warner bros has done with the whole of Rooter teeth.

Animation deserves so much better.

Alien Rumi AU

Not sure if this has been done yet, but I’ve been getting into a lot of Polytrix AUs where Rumi is some sort of creature/animal while Zoemira take her in. So I thought, what if she was an alien?

I see your "Rumi accidentally walking in on Mira and Zoey having sex because she doesn't know they're together" and raise you "Rumi intentionally teleporting in on Mira and Zoey having sex because they've been ignoring her calls for the past thirty minutes and she's really fucking annoyed."

Like, she appears in their room and they're super embarrassed meanwhile she's just like "yo dipshits, when I call you twenty times in a row it's becuase I need your help with something important" while completely ignoring both of them being butt ass naked.

mira and rumi refer to zoeys “weapons of mass destruction” being used to make them do whatever she wants as an inside joke in an interview once without explaining what they mean, and people start to theorize about what theyre talking about online.

one theory states its zoeys tits. that she just flashes them to get rumira to do her bidding in exchange for getting to continue staring at them. some hypothesize that she lets them touch as payment for bigger requests

another theory states its actual nukes. that zoey just happens to own an entire missile silo for some unknown reason. this is more of a joke theory of course but a few people do genuinely believe zoey used her wealth to buy nukes

another few theories float around like them referring to sex toys, action figures (?), drafted tweets that would get rumira and/or huntrix as a whole cancelled, celines tits (???), and various other body parts

eventually, the fandom finds out. zoeys on stream when it happens. rumi and mira are hanging out with her while she plays a relatively chill game and they watch her. shes kinda locked in but she finishes her drink and wants another one. she asks rumi to go get one for her from the kitchen, but rumi tells her to go get it herself. and then zoey does it

she pulls out the Puppy Dog Eyes

rumi crumbles instantly and starts grumbling on the way out of the room

mira (whos been in the background laying on the bed playing a different game on zoeys old ds this whole time) laughs at her “she got you w the wmds huh?”

rumi glares at her and flips her off

it takes a sec for chat to realize she means weapons of mass destruction

Dinotrix JW AU pt2: Bobby Edition

I forgot about Bobby in the initial post so

okay okay so Bobby in the JW Dinotrix AU

he was a keeper for Rexy before Miyeong requested he be moved over to the restricted area to take care of Rumi and Zoey (Mira had other keepers at the time)

Bobby was the first to realize Zoey had escaped her paddock since he saw her in Rumi’s during a feeding

he immediately alerted Miyeong since he reports directly to her about Rumi and Zoey

Celine got access to the genetics records for the Indominous project and found out about the raptor dna and told Miyeong who decided that Rumi and Zoey living together would be good for both of them

Zoey loves Bobby; she always gets so excited when she can see him in the observatory/catwalk above the enclosure

one day, Bobby loses his footing on the catwalk while feeding Zoey and falls in

he’s freaking out, but Zoey is so so excited; she runs up to him and nuzzles into him and chirps and chatters

Rumi comes by at the sounds and just stares at Bobby in confusion. He’s the nice squishy, what is he doing in here? Zoey explains that he fell in and she’s getting to say hi which she’s wanted to do for ages

Rumi looks at the catwalk, Bobby, catwalk, Bobby, catwalk…. lowers her head to Bobby’s eye level, looks back up at the catwalk

Bobby is so scared, but he nods, “Y-yeah, I… I need back up there…”

Rumi lowers her head even more. Bobby is confused. Zoey hops onto Rumi’s head, and hops off. Looks at Bobby expectantly

Bobby hesitantly approaches Rumi and puts a hand on her head. She doesn’t move. Bobby approaches her neck to find a better foothold to climb on her head. Rumi allows it all.

Bobby manages to climb up and Rumi rises, very slowly. Lifts her head up as far as she can. Gets incredibly close to the catwalk. Bobby manages to pull himself back onto the catwalk. Rumi lowers herself to a more natural position and blinks slowly at him before wandering off. Zoey chirps before running off too.

Bobby is so confused. He was told to be careful with the Indominous, but that was… weird, right? Not normal dinosaur behavior at all. What got put in that hybrid’s genetic makeup that makes it act like that??

Bobby reports this incident back to Miyeong and Celine. He's just happy to be alive. (This is the event that gave Miyeong the confidence to open the paddock doors to let them live with Mira later.)

once the duo moves in with Mira, Bobby stays on as their keeper and becomes one of Mira’s as well

Bobby meets Mira at some point and Mira doesn’t attack him either. Bobby’s the only one who can actually go into the shared paddock while all three dinosaurs are awake. Others can go in while Zoey is awake since she loves humans, but Mira gets aggressive with anyone other than Bobby, and Rumi gets easily spooked, and she’s too big for that to be safe for the keepers to be in with her.

When they all move off-island after the park falls, Bobby came with them to keep taking care of his girls.

again idk but I do like the idea of Bobby falling into Rumi’s paddock at some point during a routine feeding and gets helped out by Rumi

Raptor Zoey can clearly go where ever she wants but is her favorite travel riding on Mira and rumi. Like the handlers have lost Zoey and are checking the cameras only to see one of the bigger species lifting Zoey up on their snout so she can look at the cameras or trees.

Sure she could climb but when you have a super tall friend who will carry you it's a real treat. It's a nightmare for the handlers because now Zoey has giant minions.

Zoey LOVES climbing on Rumi’s snout and Mira’s back. And they love letting her. They admittedly can barely even feel her when she’s on their backs, so they need to be careful not to lose her. They sometimes still lose her because they walked by one of the lower parts of the wall and Zoey jumped off to explore the keeper areas.

It really is a blessing for the keepers that Zoey loves the squishies and doesn’t want to eat them, cuz if she wanted to kill, she could kill. Easily.

The keepers come in one day and see Zoey on the catwalk above part of the enclosure. Bobby walks over and scolds her. She looks so sad about it. Then Mira wanders over and offers her head for Zoey to hop onto, which she does, and then they’re gone, off into the forest.

Rumi is nervous at first, since she knows from Mira’s roar that Mira is a large carnivore and the last time she was around a large carnivore it was the older indominus who wanted/tried to kill her

Mira is so so excited when she smells Zoey and Rumi coming towards her territory. She starts b-lining towards the paddock gate to meet them as soon as possible

she gets there after the paddock door has been opened by Miyeong and Zoey and Rumi have entered and her immediate thought is “oh, she’s not that weird-looking, I was expecting way weirder” about Rumi cuz she knew Rumi was some mix of species via her scent

Rumi is submissive at first, doesn’t want to anger this other larger carnivore. she doesn’t want to get attacked again like her sister the older indominus did

Mira is practically vibrating in excitement over them finally being here, but she recognizes Rumi’s nervousness and does her best to reassure her that she’s welcome here

it takes a while for Rumi to get used to everything, since she’s used to a small enclosure with little sound other than Zoey so hearing all the squishies (humans) working constantly and hearing Mira’s heavy footsteps spooks her sometimes

she gets used to Mira’s footsteps pretty quickly once it really registers in her brain that she’s safe here

Mira leads them all over their new territory, to her favorite watering hole, to her favorite spot in the forest to sleep, to where they feed her her goats and cows

Zoey adjusts quickly, running off to watch the keepers work at some point

the keepers were terrified at first bc that’s a raptor in the rex paddock oh god it’s gonna die isn’t it

and then Mira lumbers up and nuzzles Zoey and the keepers are even more shocked

Rumi’s camouflaging herself in the trees, watching

she’s too nervous to come out and interact with any squishy other than Bobby

After terrifying the keepers, Mira tells them to explore to their hearts content since this is also their territory now

Zoey takes that offer immediately and runs off again

Rumi takes longer to go off alone, but eventually she does, and she finds a nice pasture that is perfect for sunbathing

okay, so Jurassic Park/World AU

Rumi is the younger Indominous Rex that they said the one in the film ate

They lived together for a while but they removed Rumi once they noticed the older Indominous getting aggressive with her

it would’ve been a waste of money from a corporate perspective to leave her in there and let her die ya know

(Miyeong and Celine in corporate? Miyeong made the decision to move Rumi out? Maybe)

Mira is a young Tyrannosaurus Rex that InGen created to replace Rexy once she died, since she’s really old by JW

Zoey is a descendant of Sorna’s feathered velociraptors and was brought over to Nublar for reasons I haven’t decided yet. Maybe she was too accustomed to/interested in humans and was in danger with the other raptors? Probably another result of corporate Miyeong

They’re all being raised in the restricted area, relatively close to each other

They can all smell each other so they get used to each other’s scents even though they’ve never seen each other

Mira roars a lot bc territorial and also. she’s trying to get the other two to come to her, cuz they don’t smell like threats and she wants to meet them.

and Mira’s certain she has the best territory, so they should share hers instead of whatever they currently have since it’s surely subpar compared to hers (corporate really values their t-rexes, since they’re the money makers)

Zoey wants a pack so she escapes and runs towards the scents she recognizes and ends up in Rumi’s paddock

Rumi is so confused, she has no idea what this little feathered thing is, but it does feel familiar for some reason and… doesn’t seem like a threat so… it can stay?

Zoey follows Rumi all around her paddock, chattering, and Rumi expected to be annoyed bc she’s used to silence but no? It’s actually nice having another being to talk to.

Mira notices that their scents are now coming from the same place and roars more to try to convince them to come to her territory

Eventually Zoey escapes again to check out Mira’s paddock and meet her and then report back to Rumi if they should listen and move in with her

Mira is so excited to see Zoey for the first time

Zoey agrees with Mira that her territory is much better than the one she used to have before moving in with Rumi and Rumi’s since it’s is still too small for the still-growing Indominous Rex

and Zoey heads off to convince Rumi to move to Mira’s territory with her

somehow no one has noticed yet that the raptor has escaped her paddock and moved to another one and is planning a jailbreak for their admittedly forgotten hybrid

the older Indominous is bigger and more scary-looking according to corporate so they just. don’t keep as close of tabs on Rumi’s paddock as they do on the older Indom’s (not that those tabs are terribly close either) since they want to exhibit the larger one

the only one corporate keeps a close eye on is Mira bc she’s their second Rex and she’s very important to them (for money)

Anyway the only people who notice all this going down are Miyeong and Celine but. They aren’t hurting anyone so it’s fine.

Miyeong cares more about the animals than the money and Celine does whatever Miyeong wants

Miyeong watches via cameras that no one ever checks as Zoey returns to Rumi’s paddock and they communicate and Rumi keeps looking at the paddock door and towards Mira’s paddock

Miyeong throws caution to the wind once it seems Rumi’s made a decision and opens the paddock door remotely

Rumi looks so confused. and scared. but she does leave the paddock. Slowly

Zoey leads her through the woods to Mira’s paddock, chirping and chattering the whole way

Once they get there, Miyoeng opens Mira’s paddock door as well and lets them inside

Rumi is scared, bc what if Mira doesn’t like her??? Zoey assures her that she will and everything will be fine

Things are in fact fine. Mira could tell from Rumi’s scent that Rumi wasn’t a normal dinosaur, so she was expecting something weirder than a bigger Rex with long arms

Miyeong closes all paddock doors and lets Masrani know that their younger Indominous is now being raised alongside their Sorna raptor and young Rex. He’s so confused but also. Miyeong wouldn’t do anything that would hurt the animals, so sure. Maybe he can set up a camera once they open the older Indom’s paddock to the public and livestream them or something

then the older indominous escapes and all that happens

once they realize the park is going down, Miyeong and Celine start making plans to take the trio off the island and move them either to some other island or like. a mainland sanctuary? idk

they get them off and everyone lives happily ever after and the girls never have to worry about the eruption of Mount Sibo bc they’re already off-island and thus don’t have to deal with any of the sequel films events bc no one even knew the trio survived the eruption let alone was already gone. Celine is very good at covering things up.

A demon disguises themself as Celine to try and fool Huntrix but real Celine arrives and the interaction is as follows:

Mira: "Two Celines!?"

Mira: "Yeah but which one?"

Demon Imposter: "She is! Kill it! Obviously I'm the real Celine!"

Celine: "Oh really? Wonderful. Here."

*grabs a heavy folder out her bag and smacks the Demon in their face*

Celine: "These are the latest talents. Be sure to read through them carefully before signing anything. Oh and the PR reports because Zoey's last internet rant caused quite a stir. They're losing their shit. Even Bobby started crying. Have fun!"

*walks pass everyone and throws herself on Huntrix's couch, grabs Zoey's plush turtle, puts it on her face and immediately passes out.*

Polytrix and Demon Imposter:

KPDH fic where Mira and Zoey get Rumi pregnant (you already know how), except it happens while Celine is still in her depression era since neither she nor the girls have attempted to reach out to start patching things up yet. So Celine is sitting at home, clutching a bottle of something WAY too strong, bawling her eyes out, when she gets a call (probably from Bobby) informing her that Rumi is pregnant. And instantly, her mood switches from "I'm such an awful parent. I don't even deserve the right to call Rumi my daughter," to "THOSE GOOD FOR NOTHING LITTLE SHITS GOT MY DAUGHTER PREGNANT!? I'LL FUCKING KILL THEM!"

Needless to say, Celine is at Huntrix's doorstep in way less time than should be humanly possible and Mira and Zoey are fucking terrified.

She said that while John and Alecto's relationship is not meant to be a 1:1 analogue to Humbert Humbert and Lolita, there is the idea of a man fashioning (something he thinks is) a girl into a perfect partner (the question of whether that is a sexual partner apparently may be relevant to ATN)

She does not have a favourite House and would just be a regular person in the world of TLT (though she would last about 0.5 seconds)

The tension between the Houses' ostensible gender equality and the misogyny that still persists is apparently also relevant to ATN. "John has set out to make a society on values he holds dear and cherishes and in some ways he has done really well... And in some way he has fucked it up beyond comprehension" (Maybe not an exact quote. My auditory processing is questionable.)

The backstory in NTN was planned right from the beginning

Lyctors "are not truly human any more. They've crystallised themselves" and "They have lost themselves and the only thing they've been able to hold on to is what other people make of them". She said she would have liked to make the Lyctors more alien but had to balance that with them being relatable narratively.

She is dying to read TLT fanfiction once she finishes the series.
