As part of Art Splash, Baby Bird Playdate takes place twice a week all summer long. On Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:15 a.m., toddlers and their grown-ups can enjoy circle time, gallery walks, stories, and art making.

Two villagers traverse a small stream in a valley of Peru’s Cordillera Blanca (white mountains). The Cordillera Blanca are home to Huascaran mountain, which is the tallest peak in all of Peru’s cloud-piercing Andes.

This gem of Bauhaus architecture on the quiet side road of busy Torstraße houses an attractive indoor swimming pool. Built in 1930 by architect Carlo Jelkmann and saved through the bomb raids of WWII, it was renovated in the early 1990s, providing the city with a wonderful arena for freestyle, butterfly, backstrokes, etc.
Where the ocean is infinite and the grass a little greener, I shall return soon.
