We share data because we want science on pollution to be an open, transparent and democratic process. Could you imagine a world where only governments and corporations were allowed to access data and produce knowledge on the state of pollution? Sadly most apps don’t share the data and people new to mapping dont question who is allowed to download data, enforce the law and produce knowledge.
