Immediately I want to say that the most important rule to me is about Proshipping. I will not Roleplay a romantic or sexual relationship between an adult and minor. In fact, Proshippers DNI with this blog. This blog is supposed to be a safespace for everyone who comes across it and for all to enjoy, I don't want it tainted by something that'd make us all uncomfortable.

LGBT+ friendly. Another important rule, to me, is positive representation of the community and world around us. I don't tolerate hate speech towards LGBTQ+ people out of character or even in character because it makes me saddened and uncomfortable by how cruel the world can be sometimes without reason. My own representation of Jack is queer so, in other words: Transphobic People, Homophobic People DNI. While on the subject of hate speech, I also don't put up with Racists or unfair stereotypes. Racists DNI with this blog.

As far as shipping goes, I ship OC x Canon if I myself deem the OC making enough sense to be with my muse. In addition to this won't do incest ships. People who ship incest, DNI.

1964, Teslinoyarsk, Svyatogornyj west, Soviet Union territory.

Snake observed the soldiers that patrolled around Svyatogornyj, with the intention of attacking from afar. His tranquilizer gun, equipped with a silencer, would do the job well. He’s starting to run low on bullets and supplies, having survived out here, in the heat of constant battle, for an ‘incalculable amount of time’. His best bet was to recover his inventory before encountering The End at Sokrovenno North.

Naked Snake utilized his camouflage to become one with nature and the forest itself, blending in with bushes and grassy floor. Over the course of the operation, he's collected and used a few of these camo’s, some of them he enjoyed from an aesthetic point of view over is ability to prove useful to him in his mission. He still felt somewhat annoyed for the scoldings he’d receive on occasion for some stunts pulled off by him. Part of why he’d acted so jovially was to keep himself in check, feeling pressured or harboring the feelings he does wasn't going to help him in accomplishing the end goal.

At the beginning the reasons were different, he didn't want to fail his mentor, at the middle and it became he felt conflicted. Conflict and nervousness cannot block his path in this journey, a soldier is a tool, they needed to be efficient and he needed to see this through.

No matter the cost, he repeated, no matter the cost. Even if it didn't feel right, his mission is a priority and it's not to be forsaken. Snake’s occasional banter and childish nature are helping or at least, he needed to believe in that theory to create the intended effect on his mind.

His thoughts fogged up his concentration on maintaining quiet movement. The slightest shift came from his hands and arms, the timing? Wrong. His purpose in his action was to reposition the weapon to a better angle, his shifting, in turn, caused a rustling sound to come from the Bush. Soviet Soldiers all snapped their heads toward the American soldier, eyeing his general area with suspicion and distrust.

Snake cursed to himself. He had to think of a plan to get out of the situation and fast. Otherwise? He'd be completely done for. There are too many soldiers to fight off, too many that noticed his slip-up. The Boss would be disappointed in her student for allowing his mind to wander off during a high-stakes mission.

Evasion plans. He didn't need to worry about her opinion, a woman who betrayed her country, him. Snake glanced around for a means of escape or at the very least, another sensible hiding spot. There are several bushes littering this spot, if he maneuvers himself very carefully around the one he’s in and crawl out—

A strange light flashed. It blinded his vision and halted his careful strategy crafting for a minute. Naked Snake couldn't see what the soldiers did around him, he couldn't feel the grass or bushes, did he die? Did one sneak behind him and just finish the job? Questions and curiosities flooded in. By the time the light cleared, everything he knew about his situation disappeared and he was left on his own.

The Jungle never felt so cold before.

“I’ve been taking care of myself for a long time. I don’t need your help, and I definitely don’t need your pity. Fuck off.”

“Please tell me I don’t look as bad as I feel.”

“I think I’m running a fever.”

“So, what’s the prognosis, Doc? Am I gonna live?”

“Stop fussing over me! I’m not a baby!”

“Can I stay with you tonight? I just… really don’t want to be alone right now.”

“No, I-I’m okay. It was just a nightmare. Go back to sleep.”

“I… can’t actually remember the last time I had something to eat.”

“You shouldn’t be here. You’ll get sick, too.”

“Honey, have you been crying? What is it? What’s wrong?”

“I think you’d better take a break.”

“It’s not your fault, sweetheart. You did everything you could.”

“You don’t have to go through this alone. I’m right here for you if you’ll just let me in.”

“There’s nothing wrong with you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with you. Don’t ever let yourself believe that there is.”

“You really don’t realize just how many people love you, do you?”

“If you’re not going to take care of yourself, at least let me do it for you!”

“I’m sorry. I know it hurts.”

You know I actually find it rather heartbreaking that Naked Snake believes in Santa Claus and is haunted by Dracula nightmares just by mention. You have to think about it from a developmental standpoint in his brain, he fought in The Korean War in 1950 and he was born in 1935. If math checks out, this’ll make him fifteen years old during the time of the war. It’s sad to think about how when children are made to grow up too fast during these situations because there are aspects of them that seemingly remain untouched and are still childlike in nature (I know the boss literally called him a child in MGS3 but sksjskdj). I find it very likely his earlier childhood in itself had similar elements, which further slowed certain parts of his brain in a sense. Of course I’m still new to this fandom but I have exposed myself to the media, watched six hour long lore videos and have did my best to study the lore while watching through the games/playing them but I realize I may not have the full picture yet. I’ve seen all of three because I just adore Jack but—dhekdjdi
