Well I’ve finished the Wicked King and I really need to discuss this with people bc I am HYPED - and I also have the Waterstones Exclusive version which means I have deleted scenes if anybody would like to read them!

Cabaret; Series captured by Julia Busato. As you can see, my weight clearly fluctuates in my photos. Currently right now I'm at the heaviest I've been in my entire life. I find it's more difficult to love myself as I have photos at my lightest and my body looks so much better. It's odd: on one hand I look more like the stereotypical woman while my body is heavy (accentuated curves, hips, breasts) but when I'm at my lightest all of that goes away. My ribcage shows, hints of my spine, elongated collarbones, smaller hips and a rather nonexistent chest. To the stereotype of curves it combats against it but it's when I'm at my happiest. I love when other females are curvy - but on me it just doesn't look right. To help with this, I'm thinking of starting to casually model lingerie and have my partner take photos of me. Would you rather have it on my portfolio or create another blog?

A look into my life: rant 1
I'm part of an industry that I don't fit into. I've known this since I started and thought I could make myself fit.
I'm a model; an artist that uses their body to tell poetry. My goal was to be able to dress in beautiful clothes and have teams work with me to create stunning images that capture only the best moments of life.
But yet, it seems impossible. Impossible for me to fit in. Impossible for me to break the mold everyone wants. Why? I'm not tall nor am I beautiful by any means. But I can pose. I can tell poetry with my body. I can evoke emotions from my audience.
And yet...it's still like I'm fighting everytime I try and set up a shoot everytime I reach out to people.
"I'm sorry", they say as they look me up and down. "I only work with larger artists. You are too small."
My heart breaks. My head screams, just give me a chance! Just give me a chance and I'll show you that I can become a large artist. I have talent don't I? I can portray emotions that you want.... So why don't you want me?
Keep pushing my mind whispers. Keep trying. Keep creating. It will come, they will come, they will see.
I sob in response.
Is my worth only my followers and likes? Is that where my talent is perceived?
I wanted to help capture magical moments and create art but this is only torment.
Keep trying I sigh. Keep trying.

Fae: A series with Anna Legault and makeup done by Lisa Oh This was one of the first conceptual fantasy shoots that I did. The more I model, the more I see where I can improve in posture and poise. When I take on a role now, I become it. Before - I would simply try to imagine how they'd pose. On this blogging platform, I'll also create tips and tricks/rants and thoughts related to this field. At first I was going to create it as another portfolio - but I think having it as a blog works so much better. That way my audience can intimately get to know me.
