was looking through some old image research i did from my thesis project a few years back. i got these when i had access my university's archives, and i remember i didn't want to leave that room :'( i still love these drawings by john flaxman so much

i haven't even watched the new nolan adaptation yet (and i don't think i will), but honestly, i don't think much can top these for me... the lineart is minimal, yet detailed, the designs are classically inspired, and all the scenes are instantly recognizable... just thought you guys might like to see them :'))))
