Pirates are gangs of bastard heroes and the navy is nothing but a fleet of cowards – that’s what the average citizen will tell you these days. After all, it was pirates who stepped up to defend the people when the Constellations appeared.

Viktor has been living aboard Blisters as a Sea Witch, wielding the one thing that can actually hurt these monsters: magic. The Zaunite crews have become a family to him and his life is almost like a fantasy. But when someone has everything, that means they have everything to lose. A Sea Witch can not perform magic alone, they need a weapon; a witch’s Athame. Until Viktor finds a suitable partner, he won’t be able to protect his family. That’s when a half-dead Piltie washes up on Zaun’s shores with fancy clothes, navigational equipment, and a glowing blue stone that smells of magic.

Viktor is stuck with a choice, he can let fear paralyze him or he can find strength in those around him. Luckily, the people by his side make the harder choice well worthwhile.

Oh look, thats us! I've actually been hanging out more at the lake to try and work this piece out. Even used a spy glass for the first time. Saw Neptune, that was cool!

This piece is very much a character study, diving into the internal conflict of both of these two! The chance to write this was an awesome challenge, and huge thanks to the big bang team for putting this on with an unexpected amount of participants!

Dragonfly photos, unedited. Ive been forcing myself to shoot more things in manual, lately. White balance was bungled a bit, but focus came out much better compared to earlier shots when I was first trying manual focus. The dragonfly was a very good model, sitting still as I figured out my settings. A very polite man, despite my intrusion.

And young talis as a commercial pilot, old talis as an emt pilot, and giopara as a military fighter pilot just makes sense to me. Their mechanics are so done with their shit 😂

I don't have many people to tell, so I'll joy post here. This is my first spring at my new house, and I've discovered that we have a seasonal stream on property. I do not know how to begin to describe how happy it makes me, even if it is silly.

Battle priest and vampire Jayvik AU, because the whole fandom has one braincell I think. Yes, Jayce is gagged with a Pentecostal cinture. He is roman Catholic in this, but I did steal some of the vibes from other denominations since it is fantasy.

In the original piece he is mumbling the passage that holds Ephesians 4:24 because it holds his call verse for his weapon in this AU. Priests that fight vampires have call verses that do different things depending on what weapon they are given. Ezekiel 22:18-21 and Isaiah 54:16-17 are his call verses for attacks too, because they're fun.

Vamp Vik 100% went in hoping to honeypot but Jayce pulled an uno reverse because he's pathetic and that's cute. That's the plot.

Chapter 7 is up of Pitch Deck ✨ a Jayvik Superhero AU

In the aftermath of the hospital raid, Jinx decides to put herself out there, risking her heart in the process. It’s easier, somehow, with a tin can there to support her like some sort of brother. Meanwhile, Vi watches her friend feel more and more isolated from her brother as the man is pulled further away and into the spotlight.

Willow was thrilled when I woke up today. The sun was super bright too, though now it's snowing again.

An RP Zero and I are doing that we affectionately call the "aftercare" Jayvik rp since the superhero plot is pure angst.

Summary and yap sesh under the cut

Viktor scraped together all he could to move out of his dead end town and away from his ex. Things were not great, but he was stable and that was more than most witches could say for themselves.

That was until a perfect jawline and expensive clothes stumbled into his plant shop with a scandal on his heels. Viktor couldn't stop himself from trying to help the man escape the paparazzi, but Viktor's magic goes viral and he loses everything.

Surprisingly though, he doesn't have to leave the city alone. The man, Jayce, decides to go with him. They move back to Viktor's home town, and Jayce insists on a "fixer upper" so if their roommate situation does not work out, they still "turn enough of a profit" that Viktor is not screwed. Viktor does not know what fixer upper means. Viktor should have asked what fixer upper means. It apparently means the Victorian mansion in his old home town that's been abandoned since Viktor was a child and to this day is thought to be haunted.

It's awkward, but slowly the two begin to work out each other as they also put the house back together. The land is more alive than either of them thought, but it's okay, because Jayce might just not be straight and Viktor might just have scored a romance out of the books he's always read. Oh, and being back at his home town and feeling safe there is also nice.

Ekko (8): wants to be a forest fire fighter, hates witches and cryptids, "Powder let's head back I don't trust this shit"

Powder (9): wants to find a geological anomaly that will restart the mines so her family has jobs again, always has rocks in her bag that she checks against her geology books, obsessed with the "Witch House"

Vi (13): takes kickboxing but feels guilty because it means Powder walks home alone after school, "There's no witch in that house, it's just abandoned, Powder", can smell wealth on Jayce and Caitlyn and doesn't want to be pitied

Caitlyn (14): Her mother sends her to live with Jayce to go to equestrian school at the town over, partially because Jayce's scandal is still affecting Kiramman Arms and Caitlyn might be in danger, loves horses and riflery and doesn't know that not all kids can "just learn" how to do those things

Isha (2): Mother is "coming back", Powder found her and rolled up to Vander and Silco like "I got a smoothie. And a baby sister.", goes everywhere with Powder the second Powder comes back from school

Jayce (31): celebrity airospace engineer and nepo baby of Kiramman Arms and Ferros Defense until scandal with a military contract made headlines for suspected sabotage, Viktor offered him a place to stay, just for Viktor being a witch to go viral because Jayce was being tailed by paparazzi. Viktor's shop gets burned down as a response.Jayce quits his job and buys a house in Viktor's old home town so Viktor can get out of the city safely. He's mostly happy to be able to share his cooking with someone. That and never work for an arms corporation ever again.

Viktor (36): Left dead end town to escape shitty ex. Managed to build a shop just to lose it all since people who practice magic are hated. Accidentally furfills the "there's a witch in that house" rumor all of the town kids have. Slowly regrowing the house's garden with his magic and coming more and more out of his shell as he reconnects with his old community

Lil home update, seeds arrived. Including one I'm super excited about, the Yakteen gourd.

The Yakteen gourd is eaten and grown around the Levant, including Beruit which made me smile, but this specific variety was from the Palestine Heirloom Seed Library which was founded by Vivien Sansour. The art pack includes 25 seeds, and all sales go to the seed library if you buy on Hudson Valley Seed Co.

I'll try some recipes when these grow and update

Yet here he was, watching his dream built to help now be used to hurt. He could roll over like a coward, but when he reconnects with his community in Zaun he realizes that is not something he can let himself do. Instead, he forges a new path, one hardly “allowed” by Piltover but one that creates genuine good. Things get complicated quicker than he anticipates, though. Especially when fate crosses his path with the Man of Progress turned Defender of Tomorrow.
