Greetings and welcome to our ask blog for Miss Mizzle and Tasque Manager from Deltarune!

If you want to hear from a specific one of us or both, you may specify. Otherwise, it will be chosen as deemed most suitable. You also may ask to speak privately to either of us - the other will not hear.

This takes place in Castle Town, so you may reference any other Darkners that would be there. Our knowledge outside of that may be limited, but we will try our best to answer to the best of our abilities.

Please be respectful (there is a person reading your asks, y'know) and additionally, please refrain from any NSFW. We do not mind somewhat suggestive asks (16+) , considering Deltarune itself has its fair share of suggestive jokes. If we believe your ask crosses the line from suggestive to NSFW, we will simply not answer it. Do not take offense to this! There are younger knaves and apprentices in the audience, and in addition our publishing of such intensive words would reflect a quite vainglorious image of our selves.

The runner of this blog may be asked questions, too. She would prefer to be referred to as Cat and will tag any of her OOC posts as "#chatchat".

Hey, other Tasque Blog over here with a message for the mod (hense the informal language). What made you decide to run this blog? also what made you get into mizz managed? It still seems like a crack ship to me considering it hasn't been seen as far as i'm aware.

hey! i decided to run this blog because both miss mizzle and tasque manager are characters i adore and that i wanted to see more of in fan content (be the change you want to see and all). i love deltarune's minibosses in general (I was thinking of even running a clover blog at one point) but these two are definitely my favorites and I couldn't decide. plus, they play very well off of eachother by forcing eachother to be more humble lol

in terms of the ship, well - it's kind of an extension of the "playing well off of eachother" deal. there definitely isn't any basis in canon (at least not yet), but I really like the dynamic of them being competitive and humbling each other constantly. i also like how contrasting tasque with miss mizzle allows her (comparatively) less formal "off-duty" side to be shown, and how contrasting miss mizzle with tasque allows her to be significantly less aloof and more grounded

Hi hi!! Any specific standout experiences together from your time together in Castle Town? What do you think of the locals, now that you both live there?

Well, there was that time when Ralsei let us pick his outfit for a karaoke bar night at the Café!~

Ah, yes - I never would have thought that the young leader would look so elegant in cerulean, but I should have known - blues look beautiful on anybody!

Precisely!~ ...and what good was that dress doing glued to that unsightly mannequin, anyways? In fact, that mannequin looked a bit like... hm. Nevermind! Less grease for me to clean off of my whip!~

Oh, and for the citizenry of this "Castle Towne" kingdom - they're quite... queer, but nonetheless uniquely respectful! The common Mizzles never treated me with this true grace in the sanctum where I resided before..!

...they're mostly okay, but a few of them definitely need to be whipped into shape!~ I mean, those weird buttoned guys say they'd been the staff for their monarch, but I don't know if I believe them..! The incompetence!

if anything i just say u should give longer sequences of back and forth dialogue but it makes sense that the first chapter is going to focus more on narration and internal thoughts to setup lolol

making miss mizzle flustered and having her get shut down in a way that she finds attractive is a good choice, i def think their respective wants for being "followed" in one way or another and the resulting humbling of eachother is a super fun idea to address with these 2

Hi, miss manager, is it possible for a lightner to be a tasque manager if they try really hard?

Hmmm... if one were to happen to have ample time to master the craft, a variety of Tasques, and a high quality whip I don't see why they couldn't become a talented manager of their Tasques?

If the Light World doesn't have Tasques, I'm sure any other equally mischievous kitties will do!~ They'd just be a different type of manager then, I suppose?

Hmmm we've never learned the specifics, but Susie seems to be a Red Mage<uses White magic[healing]+ Black magic[damage], and melee attacks> ralsei is a white mage <White magic[Healing and Pacify]>, and kris is a warrior, following that logic, what classes would you two be? Beastmaster<Uses whips, and commands beasts in this case tasques>? and... what would miss mizzle be?

"Beastmaster," that sounds about right, yes! My kitties are quite the strong support~!

I would most certainly be a HolyPrincess, dear inquirer; I have felt the very words of the title passed down onto me from the streams of fate, of the prophecy that surrounded my being, placing me gently in my shelter high in the sky above the common Mizzles back in the Dark Sanctuary.

starting with miss mizzle, because I find her slightly easier due to her more distinct style: the most crucial thing to remember, above anytjing else, is 100% that she is extremely verbose - the game outright describes her as "babbling sesquipedalianarily." her vocabulary should sound older, vaguely medieval or high fantasy or whatever you want to call it. you want to use a lot of simile and metaphor, especially to water-related things. she values passion and sincerity from people and that should show in her relationships. she's also a bit lofty but likes to think of herself as far more humble than she is

tasque, on the other hand, speaks in modern formal language for the most part. what i've noticed from studying her dialogue for this blog is that she tends to be more exciteable, and said exciteable dialogue is almost always punctuated with a "~!". her formality also seems to loosen when she's exciteable/friendly - it's almost like a "customer service" voice of sorts for her, but not exactly. personally I find the focus on this distinction between her excited dialogue and her working dialogue to be the best way to define her voice as a character !!

Yes, and the way that they led their party was certainly quite the feat - especially when they have such a rebel among their ranks... that Susie!

The girl; her brashness and bitterness informed me immediately of her inexperience, but I can't help but carry a degree of fascination with the passions of youth - a passion that bubbles forth from the rim of her very soul.

I suppose... I just wish she would channel that passion into study for her craft like the prince, instead of into my carefully designed pottery displays!

Yes, he is quite the respectful man - yet I can't help but sense something in him. Some tarnish upon the gold of his youth, something weighing him down like those of an older age.

I mean, managing so many Darkners - especially those like Mister KAARD - matures one fast. I would certainly know... and to think he doesn't even use a whip! I should teach him sometime~!
