I feel like everyone is ignoring that Lilith is most definitely in Eden. Or somewhere adjacent. She's technically 'in heaven' but like.
Hello beautiful. Anyway. This image for reference, the rest of heaven has a lot of people everywhere, and it's very specifically curated, Lilith also isn't a random lady she is the queen of hell. If they WERE keeping her. They'd need a place where she couldn't cause any harm, and wouldn't scare the winners. Lilith being kept in Eden makes sense because like. She used to live there.
Anyways I am a firm believer of Lilith is trapped theory. Even if she's just in regular heaven. And I am going to share all my evidence.
1. we get consistent descriptions of Lilith's behavior. Not from her. But from the people she's closest with. She's described as loving her kingdom. Embracing hell and growing her kingdom nearly single-handed. Shes level headed and calm. And she loved her family if we take Lucifer and Charlie's love for her, and how they talk about her as information. They don't talk down of her so clearly she wasn't cruel. This doesn't sound like someone who would disappear randomly just because she wanted to. Not to a place away from her family and people. Which leads me into point 2.
2. The storyline we are given is, Lilith is upset by the exterminations about to happen, she starts to recruit her people for an uprising, then she suddenly disappears overnight without telling anyone and isn't seen or heard from for seven and a half years. This is not the behavior from someone who went on a vacation.
And like. Continuing on that. It explains other behaviors. Seras panicked reaction to lute going to Lilith to send her down and getting upset, Lilith is a perceived danger and absolutely not on their side, she especially wouldn't be happy if she had been kidnapped or forced from her home. Which would make sending her down more dangerous.
Her avoidance of calls though she has her phone could be some sort of agreement. Or just protection. Either way, she is bound to not answer her families calls.
We don't see a lot of Lilith, actively seeing her actions as malicious, or claiming she'll be the next Stella just because, ignoring all the context clues we get is a very bad faith argument, There's a lot there when you look at Lilith. It's a lot of show instead of tell. Which yes. Talking about a character CAN be show. Showing how her family feels about her, showing how hell feels about her through their words (love and Adoration primarily, even Vox is using her as a stepping stone because he knows hell loves her)
anyways. I love Lilith <3
