        halfway through the sentence, clark dropped his gun from the spy’s sudden presence. his hat was tilted to one side, showing his dark brown hair. 

        he pulled it to cover his hair, and picked up his gun.

“ why do you have to be so silent all the time? it’s like your going to stab me any second. ”

Tobias kept up with Clark easily, long legs striding after him with little more noise than the hunter himself. No, Tobias’ feet weren’t noisy - only his mouth was.

Still chuckling to himself, Tobias - ever the nosy man - peered over Clark’s shoulder to peek at his notebook. “What are you writing, Clarky? Are you noting down how best to avoid my brilliant and ingenious jokes?”

“ i am writing down ways to shut you up. ”

he was actually scribbling notes about tobias and the land, some were notes of ‘very talkative’ or ‘note: next time don’t bring tobias to hunt’. clark stopped upon seeing a raccoon. his lips formed a large smile and he put the notebook quietly in his jacket, starting to reach for his gun.

he continued to walk through the open forest, keeping silent as he looked for any animals. after a few minutes of walking, he pulled out a notebook and started to write something down.

Tobias’ grin remained for a second or two longer, yet sank slowly, his warm brown eyes narrowing in a frown.

“Oh. Are you- are you sure? I thought everyone needed a present?” Was the Sniper alright? Lightly, Tobias shook the box, a light thumping coming from within. “I made it specially! You sure you don’t want to open it?”

he raised an eyebrow and fully turned his body to the engineer. he looked into the engineer’s eyes then reached out his hands,.
