It feels like every time I get inspired to write something, after, like, the first day of writing I lose interest in completing it. I've tried just forcing myself to sit down and write, I've tried making playlists that would get me motivated and I've tired putting random video essays on as background noise, yet NOTHING works. Somehow, I always end up in this cycle of having a really good fic idea, eagerly starting it then putting it aside in the hopes of continuing it another day, but that "another day" never comes and the cycle repeats itself.
If anybody has some tips on how they keep going/stay motivated during the writing process I'd LOVE to know.
