🔬 Fun fact: The ancient Greeks deliberately built the Parthenon’s columns slightly curved and leaning inward - this optical technique, called “entasis,” creates the illusion of perfect straightness when viewed from below and attests to the remarkable knowledge of ancient architects in the fields of optics and geometry.
