Lando suddenly stands up. He reaches for Oscar, gently wrapping a hand around his fingers, cradling them in his palm. It’s oddly reminiscent of their positions in the club that December night, except it’s really not like that at all. There’s no heat, only warmth, as Lando looks earnestly into Oscar’s eyes and gives his fingers a reassuring squeeze. “Then we’ll do it together,” he says firmly, like it’s not even a question. Like he doesn’t even have to think about it. Oscar lets out a shaky breath, squeezes back. “Together.” - The unspoken thing between Lando and Oscar finally culminates in a night of celebration, but what comes after is far more than either of them expected.

for @oscfest the event that finally pushed me to turn my chaotic bullet points and scraps of dialogue into a full-fledged story. over the last few months this has sorta become my baby (lol), as it's the first fic i've written in five or so years. i understand this isn't for everyone, but if you do read it, i hope you enjoy <3

McLaren has a unique way of ensuring longevity as both drivers must become vampires.

Lando has lived that life since 2021, when Daniel seduced him into it with promises of power, pleasure, and eternity. He hadn’t really chosen, it had just happened.

Now it’s Oscar’s turn. He gets the same offer: one year as a human. No pressure, just a trial period. But after that, he must decide, immortality or… retirement.

Lando, of course, is tasked with “mentoring” him. Flirty and playful, he teases Oscar, trying to make him want the vampire life. He praises the rush of heightened reflexes, and the hypersensitivity, especially when it comes to the physical pleasures. But what Oscar doesn’t know is that Lando is only repeating the same pattern once used on him. And maybe, just maybe, he isn’t sure if he’s luring Oscar into immortality… or trying to believe it was worth it.

I decided to dive into my very first long fic for @oscfest! This idea has been brewing in my mind for months, and I finally went for it. I already have a few chapters written and plan to post one each week. Can’t wait to share it all with you! ❤️👀

Oscar had always been stocky, boyish, with the same short hair all her sisters wore to survive the Australian heat. Nothing of Charles or George or Magui’s delicate beauty, the kind that had cursed and blessed them in equal measure. But now, now she felt strong. Too strong to fold herself smaller into a seat that cracked her ribs. Too strong to swap places with Lando for a single point, or at all.

Kicking off from the wall and ignoring the lingering ache as she took a long breath in, Oscar felt strong enough to take it all.

My submission for @oscfest, a loose sequel to my first rule 63 fic, and trying out new pairings! Huge thanks to the organisers and I can’t wait to dive into the collection tonight- it really is the year of Oscar🧡

Oscar turns, finally noticing the presence of another person. Lando eyes the headphones resting on his fluffy curls. Sky blue, identical to what Charles had on earlier. It’s my newest collab, see? “Fuck me,” Lando says, knowing full well this Oscar won’t. Or, there are four Oscar Piastris, two puppies, a busy waiting area, and a Lando Norris waiting for his Osc to come back home. It's the multiverse, baby!

Heyy is ther a reason why i cant seem to see the oscfest tag on ao3? Every time i type it in ao3 doesnt seem to find it

It’s an ao3 issue.

If you want to post your work to the collection, we recommend doing this directly via the collection as explained here.

If you want to manually add a work to the collection, you have to type Osc_Fest_2025 into the Post to Collection/Challenges field and then confirm it by hitting comma (as you’d do with unwrangled tags too). If you go to preview it’ll show you that the work was added to the collection :)

How to post to the ao3 collection

It’s almost time to post so here’s a little guide on how to post to the ao3 collection.

1. Go to the collection You can do so by clicking here

2. Go either to the Dashboard or the Profile of the collection The link will lead you to the dashboard. There, you have a little button below the collection's name reading "Post to Collection". This button also can be found by clicking on "Profile."

3. Click on "Post to Collection" The regular "Post New Work" will open. The only difference is that under the tab "Associations" the correct collection is pre-selected.

4. Post Fill in all the fields like always, click "Post" and you're done. Please note that your fic won't be visible right away because the collection is unrevealed. It will show up once we reveal the collection.
