Oh, hey. Welcome to Osha Galactic, a department based entirely on pretty much every speck in the sky. I'm Juno, the best and only intern of this department.

We've got a few rules here, so uh. If you're a terf, zoo, map, rascist, anti-jew or nazi or whatever, we're gonna have to eject you out of our space shuttle. Got it? Swag.

Oh uh, also I go by it/itself, and the higher-ups wanted me to say that the mod goes by it/void/he, and that their other 'blog' is @carameloshaemployee, whatever that means.

Onomatopoeia time! The words for sounds, oo.

Bangs are usually written as 'grrkc' though it depends on the real noise they try to get across.

We have an onomatopoeia for blinking funnily enough, 'bimp'!

Since my kind have tails, we have some words that are used specifically for tail movement, however 'slish' would be the sound of a tail wagging or lashing.

The onomatopoeia for stomping is 'bomk' which is adorable to me.

That's all! We really don't have many onomatopoeias, whoops.

INSULTS! Very necessary I feel.

A common insult in my language is 'xuz yagft,' which is 'rot mouth' when directly translated. You use it when someone's saying some bullshit or being annoying. Also used in reference to bad breath sometimes!

I've used 'forzq' before, it just simply translates to clown! Jester would be 'tocdob,' and circus would be 'ioxiay'.

The word for 'idiot' is 'ninty,' however 'yorktz tpuk,' which directly translates to 'silent mind,' is more commonly used.

'Ynazkek' means 'shut eye,' in reference to not seeing something. I heard this a lot growing up because my eyesight is terrible.

My species has a habit of using phrases as insults instead of singular words. if you couldn't tell. These aren't all insults, obviously, but they're some of the more common ones. I didn't include any that use flora or fauna from my home planet because those wouldn't make a lot of sense.

I WAS EXCITED FOR THE CURSE WORDS!

In my kind's culture swearing is commonplace, it's even some people's first words, so there's a FEW. Of course we don't use the same curse words as you humans, so they may have different meanings or just be used in similar ways. Either way, here we go.

Jygo is 'fuck,' with 'jygomrk' being 'fucking.' Y'all guessed that already, proud of y'all! The definition y'all have for it is uh, not the same as us though. Jygo doesn't refer to 'procreation,' instead it's just a word used when you're upset, suprised, really mad, or just experiencing a lot of emotions.

Bitch is 'nufot,' which is used the exact same as the human word. Jil nufot would indeed be bad bitch, if you were wondering.

'Qiixebu' is 'asshole,' and is used relatively the same, apart from the fact my kind don't physically have one. This isn't an anatomy lesson so I'm not elaborating.

We do have one curse word in my language with no direct translation; 'gunchi,' which basically means 'dying is more pleasant than speaking to you,' using it in front of kids is like cursing someone out in front of multiple kindergarteners for you humans, so we don't use it in public.

Useful things! These are most important to learn because you'd need these in daily conversation.

'Ebiil' is a casual 'hello,' with 'dahhik' being a more formal version and 'byffi' being reserved for those you're especially close to. 'Weetrou' is your goodbye, no other way of saying it simply enough.

'Ioc' and 'uv' mean yes and no respectively. With please you would say 'yunjbn,' with 'thank you' being 'gunax eua.' Though it's important to note that saying 'thank you' isn't very common for my kind.

Really that's all you'd need to hold basic conversation for the most part, simple!

I ask because I believe it's easier to learn something if you choose what parts to learn first. For example I started learning human languages through the insults. Now I'm fluent in English.

My species has always been very fond of worshipping stars, so any names related to stars aren't common as it's kind of disrespectful to the stars. May sound a little off to you but my kind is well known for doing it.

Okay, pronouns are important, y'all are going to learn those.

Today we'll teach pronouns. So as I said before, my native language has no concept of gender, we do however have a concept of presentation! Having feminine, masculine, or neutral presentation is the factor that decides what you're called in my language, kind of unique I know.

Our equivalent to 'she' would be 'tif,' and 'her' is 'khu'. The equivalent to 'he' would be 'if,' and 'his' would be 'jku'. Finally, 'they' would be 'uifz,' and 'them' would be 'aolt'.

Uifz and aolt are exclusively singular, groups of people have a different name.
