because grace learns eridian from rocky do you think he speaks to people on erid with his little piano/organ/instrument setup and theyre like lol wow. you've got a REALLY strong accent. and grace is like well im an alien, thats to be expected, right? and theyre like no that's not what we mean. it's just... you sound just like rocky :,) it's very cute actually

of course grace is delighted! but it'd be very funny if rocky had just. a massively specific regional accent. and now grace has it too. all the eridians from that area are like OMG THE ALIEN IS ONE OF US - we're adopting it. that's an honorary member of the clan. listen to it. it might as well have grown up here.

...actually i'm gonna do it. fuck it. rocky is space scottish. to me. he's mine now, i'm taking him out to look at the kelpies and the falkirk wheel and climb up ben ledi. he can go fishing in a loch. and now grace's eridian accent is their equivalent of scots. he says stuff to adrian's family (posh motherfuckers) and theyre like 'i think it's trying to communicate with us..?' meanwhile adrian, well used to rocky's accent by now, is like 'it's giving you a compliment. be nice to my spouse's alien, please.'

(adrian is like the dad who doesn't want a cat. theyre like this is my spouse rocky and rocky's... alien friend.. and then like two months later rocky comes in and adrian is letting grace sleep on top of them. he was cold, I couldn't just let him shiver, and rockys like no no beloved you're so right, and secretly rubbing his claws together like yesss just let it happen, grace will win all of erid over at this rate..)

#transformers #space roommates au #unicron #prev tags #I saw Unicron in G1 movie and loved how it looked like a giant eyeball with a halo #those teeth though #kind of too cartoony for my taste #so I gave him teeth that mimicked an iris if you look at them from a distance #and yeah the iconic G1 halo is amazing and must stay #the first sketch had Seraph flying around too. but here’s the deal. if I wanted to keep the size difference somewhat accurate-ish #I would have to draw Seraph as a single tiny white dot and that would STILL be very generous #anyway #Unicron is so tremendously big that it has an atmosphere #it has surface landscape and rivers/vessels #yes I wanted the eye vessels to be in the design #…….dang it’s my first time designing a planet I have no idea what I am doing #okay okay ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS #Gravity on different planets depends on their mass and radius #to have a strong gravity a planet must be both big and dense #if a planet is HUGE but made primarily of gases then it’s gravity is gonna be weak #now question is #are we making Unicron to be a mechanical planet made of metal?#because considering the fact that Unicron is fucking MASSIVE……if it was additionally made of dense metal then the gravity would be brutal #although…being a living organism would mean Unicron is not a solid piece of material. it would have an internal system of some kind #Some more additional thoughts!#Unicron destroys stars and planets #and it is also big enough to have its own orbit #which means that Unicron would likely be permanently surrounded by asteroid field…rings?#it can have rings #it can have a massive cloud of wreckage permanently scattered around it

“oh no we need to practice for our fake dating” is the funniest trope to me cause like. there are so many people who force themselves into a shitty relationship they hate just because of amatonormatiivity that it’s an ingrained part of popular culture to joke about hating your partner.

which is to say, oh my god you dont need to hold hands and go on fake dates, you don’t even need to agree on a single detail of your cover story beforehand. you can literally stand 6 feet apart at all times and look profoundly uncomfortable and all anyone will think is “yikes™. not my problem”
