As a hardcore Vita Gamer portability is everything and the main reason we went with the PSVita. Like the PSVita, the PSVITA TV or the PlayStation TV as it is called in the west is quite portable measuring 65 x 105 x 13.6mm! When traveling or going over to friends house you don't want to be packing alot of
bulky equipment. For the PlayStation TV you have to connect to an HDTV. What if the HDTV is small or you want to have your gaming experience on a much larger screen or even play outside? That's where the VANKYO Leisure 410 Video Projector comes into play.
Compact and small enough that comes in it's own little case with pockets for the accompanying cables tucked away neatly. The projector is quick to setup out of the case and connect to the HDMI port of your PlayStation TV. Don't have a speaker system or you have in mind to setup behind your house under the stars? No problem. It comes with it's own built-in speaker for your enjoyment. The built in speaker has adjustable volume controls but wasn't super loud to me. Sorry but I like my gaming to be loud. You can also hook your headphones to the audio port located on the back for a surround sound experience.
The projector supports resolutions 480p/720p/1080p with aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9! Sitting at a distance between 4.9ft to 16.4ft it can project a picture on your screen or side of your house from 32" all the way up to 176"! That's right. You could be playing the new Nihon Falcom Ys VIII game on a 176" screen! How crazy is that? There is a manuel focus dial on top of the project to make the picture sharper or softer according to your desire.
The projector comes with it's own compact remote control that works off of 2 AAA batteries. The basic buttons are present: Input, Menu, Volume, Up, Down, Left, Right, Exit, etc. If you don't want to use the remote there are buttons on the projector itself to navigate the menu or fine tune the picture along with volume controls.
There is an SD card port on the side for those wanting to pop in their SD card from their digital camera and check out those pictures in a big way. Supports SDHC 32G cards.
The LED which has a lamp life of 40000 hours displays 16.7 million colors with a contrast of 2000:1.
