So I was bored at work one day and started thinking about what characters from other FE games would be like in 3 houses, spell wise, boons and banes, combat arts, that sorta deal. No student AU sorry nerds. So yeah just sorta going through doing that.
Ground rules
1. Only doing games I’ve played, so 7-10, awakening, and SoV. I’ve played fates too but given how different some of the class and weapon options are I’m not sure how exactly I’d wanna think about those until I’ve really gotten going
2. Not making up spells or combat arts, though I may speculate on some hypothetical ones that could be fitting/interesting
3. Not making up classes, but I may speculate on what would be a good sort of additional class to better sync with some of the older game options
4. Not doing base stats or growths. They got those already and that’d just be me pulling a bunch of numbers out of my ass
5. Might do personal abilities sometimes if an idea stands out to me but honestly I have no idea what like Harken’s personal ability should be and don’t wanna spend a bunch of time overthinking that I’m overthinking enough stuff as is
6. Not gonna try and optimize characters for 3H or make them better. If they’re a powerhouse in their game like Pent or something I’ll try and preserve that but I’m largely looking at what feels right for the characters
7. Not gonna bother with spells for every single unit, just the ones who actually have a magic focus or talent. I’ll probably give a broad “oh he’d have like the basic 2 fire or wind spells” but nobody needs to overthink what spells Maurim would have (hint copy paste like Raphael’s list)
Now why am I posting this? Well I want to actually have it listed somewhere instead of going in endless circles with myself in the back of my head, and if some of you have thoughts or are interested or wanna call me an asshole for not saying Dorcas would have a riding boon cool let’s be fuckin nerds on the internet together.
And update, I’m mostly through Binding Blade cause my cousin’s oldest hacked it onto my DS! Suffering through the Zephiel level trying to use the armor knights cause I’m a masochist or something. Might do it one day, hell if I know not like my pace here is exactly breakneck
