Milly brings out the best in Knives and it irritates him. She gives him tons of nicknames and he just lets it happen. They have friendship bracelets. Milly would not let his prickly nature stop her from hanging out with Knives. Knives actually enjoys her company which is why he lets her do all sorts of annoying things he would otherwise refuse to do.

I think she'd do a really good job at domesticating him.
