Finally got to play Nemesis (board game) for the first time and it's a really good example of "Sometimes you just gotta learn the game before you play it". Took me 2 hours to set up and learn the rules, but all that setup lets the game run lighting fast once you get into it. Idk it might be the D&D GM Stockholm Syndrome talking but I love it.

im dead serious my WFH schedule for the past fortnight has been:

9am: Ping manager on slack asking for work, because all my tickets are blocked (because of him). Then get out of bed and shower.

10am: Household chores

11am: Play games at my desk

12-12:30: Turn on my work laptop for the first time that day. Standup zoom call, call out my lack of work again. Check if I've got a reply on any of the 20 outstanding things I keep asking about. I have not.

1-5pm: Hobby gamedev stuff

It's amazing, but now my in-office days are torture because I just gotta sit here bored shitless.
