Do you think Deku is more like a dog or cat in behavior? Or does he fit into something else when you think about it?

if I could only choose between dog or cat, he's more dog-like to me. eager to learn and please, very loyal and protective, and is always down to be with friends!

but generally speaking, he's neither; he's always categorized as either a sheep/ram (via horikoshi and promo/merch) or a bunny (via costume design and characterization/vibes)

personally I think bunny fits him best, he's kinda skittish and antsy, and bunnies are prey animals which could parallel being quirkless in a quirk-centric world. but they're very playful and cute, and can also roughhouse with an attitude. bunnies have fragile bones, relating to how deku would break his bones without abandon at the start of the series. in several cultures, rabbits can represent selfless sacrifices...
