I don’t ship Lacey with anyone because the consent would be questionable at best but Swan Laces would be a good ship name for Lacey and Emma. Years back I was thinking that if I ever wrote a Belle/Emma story I might title it that and it just occurred to me that it wasn’t a bad ship name

I adore Swan Beauty so I can totally understand this. Yes, unfortunately consent issues are too often a feature for ships.

After 6x09 I found myself firmly on the decks of the good ship Swan Beauty

I adore Swan Beauty!  What happened in 6 x 09 to make you feel that way?

I heard A or E tweeted Regina is bi. Not sure how true that is. I would've thought I'd heard more about it if it actually happened. I hope she isn't revealed as bi in the show. Or any of the villains as the upcoming LGBT character. Tiana would be nice since it looks like she might be a regular character next season. But after Sleeping Warrior I have a hard time believing they'll finally allow any from the official Disney Princesses line to transcend LBGT subtext.

A&E say a lot of things that never make it to the show.  Usually it’s queerbaiting lipservice.

It would be very upsetting, in my opinion, to have the only LGBT couple so far get 6 minutes of story after being promised it was a season long build up, to have Sleeping Warrior never verbally acknowledged, and then to have more villain as queer trope.

The writers have said there will be an LGBT character in season 7. I assume eventual whatever ship they're attached to will make it's way on tumblr with a tag and ship name of its own. Only unlike SQ it will be legit.

Honestly considering their treatment of the only ship they’ve allowed so far (which they said was going to be a long arc and ended up being 4 minutes) I really would rather they didn’t have anyone.  But we’ll see.

I stopped watching a while ago. I heard about the finale with everyone but Regina, Hook, and Rum leaving the show and the time jump. But I'm wondering if anyone has heard if we'll ever see Sleeping Warrior next season? They would be the only thing I'd watch an episode for.

Has anyone heard?  So far as I know there’s no news about Mulan, Aurora, Ruby/Dorothy, or any other queer storyline.  It seems like the 4 minutes a year and a half ago are supposed to tide us over for a couple of years.

Is this blog trans/nb friendly?

Absolutely, darling.  And if it ever doesn’t seem to be I really appreciate people telling me.  I hope it’s friendly to anyone queer, be they bi, gay, trans, non binary, asexual, aromantic, intersex, pan, lesbian, and anything else I haven’t named.

What I hat about SQ is that it's FUCKING incest, like how to people forget that? Regina married Snow's father becoming her step-mother which means Regina is Emma's grandmother.

I’m more bothered by other aspects, like the abuse, but I can see where people are really squicked by this.  I think it would be weirdest for Snow, since Regina is someone she sees as a mother, and Emma is clearly someone she sees as a daughter, so for her it’s her daughter and mother in a relationship.  It’s a little fuzzier, I think, for Emma and Regina if you don’t look at other characters, because we’re talking about two totally different worlds.  Regina as Leopold’s wife happened in the EF and Emma never experienced her as a grandma.  

But yeah, it’s really a problamatic relationship on many levels.

Listen, listen. The fact Eliot Spencer’s response to Parker being upset and asking if they could kill the guy who upset her was a shrug and, “Yeah. I mean, I could.” will never, ever not be important to me.

This from the guy who does not want to be that person. Who is haunted by being a man who has killed people. But this is Parker and he would do that for her.
