Day 1 - Banker Says

I spoke with a friend/banker today. She gave me some ideas and suggestions and how to go from here. Taking everything step by step is the focus.  

She then introduced me to Brandon, a small business specialist! AH! I am so glad to be apart of the bank community. I am so excited for the love and support. 

Oh and I got my mamas blessing today too.

Ask yourself, “how do I envision my life?”

When I was a little girl, living in poverty, I didn’t have much. I was taught at a very young age to love and appreciate the tiny things in life. Growing up, I admired my teachers so much. They inspired me to be silly, creative, and not to compare or be scared. I love and I will always enjoy working with children and that’s why I want to become an educator.  After switching careers two times, I am almost done with this path as a student and into becoming an elementary teacher. I also want to be a successful business woman. I dream of owning my own cafe and it will be called Sweet Dee. Who says you can only be one thing in life? Hell no, I want it all. They say, “A dream without a plan is just a wish.” So here I am, in a modern style, cold, and concrete cafe in White Center - Seattle, Washington. I plan on visiting several cafes here in rainy Washington. As I sit here, enjoying every moment of my journey to becoming a teacher and enjoying the aroma and the taste of this warm cup of white chocolate mocha, I will be observing these cafes and jotting down ideas. Give me two years. I will be graduating as a teacher and owning a cafe. Dare me? Challenge accepted.
