To clarify: Honey and Hikaru are trans men (he/him), Kaoru is a nonbinary boy (he/him), Renge is a demigirl (she/her and they/them), Ranka is a trans woman (she/her), and Haruhi is of course nonbinary (they/them)!

We did a livestream for JP's birthday a couple of years back where I joked about being in a committed relationship with bread, cos I fuckin love bread. People drew fanart and wrote fic for a few weeks 😂 This was before we got official avatars so people drew Haruhi in my place, and we eventually included "Bread-Senpai" in episode 6, making him a canon character in our series. All cos I'm gay for carbs
