When I 1st watched Ouran (like 10) I really thought that my type of guy was Mori and I thought guys like Tamaki were really annoying but then now at 19 I seem to only have crushes on Tamakis 10 year old me would be so disappointed 😂😂

haruhi : like we’ve seen with her feelings for tamaki, her feelings for you would develop slowly, but once she realized what was happening she’d be super awkward around you until she figured out what to do. she would be the most logical in how to ask you out but would still be hella nervous

hikaru : hikaru is stubborn, so even if he knew he liked you he wasn’t going to admit it. most likely he would continue to be aloof about the topic until you were the one to make a move. and he’d just kinda be like “oh, yeah ok. this is good. great ok awesome thanks”

kaoru : kaoru is much more aware of his feelings than hikaru, but he still gets flustered fairly easily. lots of blushing and stuttering when you’re around. if he were to confess, it would probably be on accident and then he’d try to go back on it but you wouldn’t let him

tamaki : tamaki would be kind of flustered around you but for the most part, because of his already flirty personality, not much of your interactions would change. the most noticeable change would be when he compliments you, and his genuine, serious tone would really throw you off. he’d be the most casual in asking you out but he’d actually be very nervous

kyoya : kyoya is cool-headed guy, and if he had a crush on you it would probably be hard to tell at first. apart from the occasional tripping over his words, it would be hard to notice anything super different. if he were to ask you out, he would word it in a way that would sound like a business transaction

mori : mori is very wise, and he’s aware whenever he has a crush on someone. even though he’s aware of his feelings, it doesn’t mean he would be able to remain smooth around you. lots of tripping on his own words and clearing his throat. it’s adorable. he’d mean to ask you out but he’d probably overthink too much to the point where you got impatient and did it yourself

hani : hani is pretty aware of what others are feeling, but in this case he may be a little less in tune with his own. he would continue to hang out with you until one day he would realize why his heart was beating so loudly in his chest whenever you were around. he would ask you out but would be very shy doing so

Honestly my headcannon is that while in the states she attends some LGBTQIA meetings and Tamaki, through interactions with this new club changes his mind about lesbians. What do you think?

hmmm. i always thought of all the hosts as pretty LGBTQ+ friendly? especially with their interactions with ranka and misuzu. it has been a hot minute since i’ve read or watched ohshc so maybe i’m just forgetting something? anyone else have input on this?

now that you mention it it’s starting to come back to me and it makes sense, esp cuz the manga and anime both came out in the early 2000s (edit you clarify that i’m not defending it just saying that it was different back then but we do not stan homophobia in this house). however, i definetely think tamaki would change his stance over time. we’ve been shown throughout the story that he is someone who is eager to grow and learn more about his constantly-expanding world, so i don’t think he would be frigid in his outdated ideas. so yeah, i can definitely see him changing his mind about lesbians (and the whole community for that matter) as he interacts more with people who identify as LGBTQ+

Favorite Disney movies of the Club

haruhi : mulan

i feel like this is pretty self explanatory, ya know? strong female protagonist who disguises herself as a man to save her family. pretty interchangeable, just add in the little details about one saving her family from a war and the other saving her family from crippling debt after breaking a vase. same difference

tamaki : robin hood

became his favorite movie after haruhi joined because he felt like a modern day robin hood with all of his “giving back to the commoners”. haruhi was less than thrilled when she heard his explication

kyoya : the little mermaid

this was definitely the hardest one but hear me out. ariel faces the scrutiny of her father and is overshadowed by her other siblings, and is forced to make a hard decision to make herself happy. although there are certainly parts of the movie kyoya doesn’t resonate with, like the whole singing and brushing your hair with a fork thing, but overall he can relate a lot to it

hikaru : snow white

hikaru gives me “my favorite director is quentine tarantino and that means i’m better than you vibes”. no offense of course cuz i love the man to death but i just see him being like “this was the first animated film disney released. do you realize how groundbreaking this was at the time?” and then he’ll go on a long tangent about the diverging narratives of snow white and everyone will wanna bash their heads against a wall

kaoru : lilo and stitch

kaoru, along with hikaru struggles a lot with his identity, and seeing stitch navigate an unknown world to try figure out who he is would really make kaoru go “huh. i feel ya little alien man.”. also it’s just a super enjoyable film

mori : beauty and the beast

mori’s the strong silent type. the beast is the strong silent type. plus i see mori as a big hopeless romantic so he’d enjoy the love story aspect because it makes him think of his own future.

hani : wreck it ralph

hani is a simple man. he sees a world made of candy, he mopes about it not being real, and then he rewatches it. a sentiment i feel we can all agree with

Hi! Can I request a headcanon of home life with kyoya?

- there’s a lot of him working too much and you trying to convince him to stop

- he has a bad habit of overworking himself

- he never listens to anyone when they tell him to stop, but he has a soft spot for you

- you bring him tea a lot when he’s working at home, especially when he’s having a stressful day

- you’ll also come in and rub his shoulders a lot which can often lead somewhere if you’re picking up what i’m puttin down here

- but he’s doing stuff for you as well

- he takes you out to eat a lot at your favorite restaurants when he has free time to make up for being busy

- he also surprisingly puts a lot of thought into anniversaries/special occasions

- like when he surprised you with a visit from your family in your burg day because he knew how much you missed them after moving away

- in the mornings, he always gets up with you (even though he doesn’t have to because he starts working later in the day). but he does it so that he can talk to you and admire you while you get ready for the day

- he always makes you coffee and a small thing for breakfast, and has it ready by the time you leave. it’s always hand made

- he’s like a mom giving a lunch to her child, especially when he hands it to you and gives you a kiss as you walk out to door to go to work/college/etc

- host club members always stop by your house randomly for impromptu visits

- it pisses kyoya off but you love having them over (especially because they tell a lot of embarrassing stories about him)

- there’s never a night where you two aren’t cuddled up closely together unless he has to work super late or you have a project/studying/extra work to do

- fights aren’t common but aren’t light either

- kyoya’s stubborn and pisses you off even more than you already would be

- there’s a lot of yelling and sometimes things are said that shouldn’t be

- but when night comes, you two always end up back in bed. both of you would much rather cuddle than fight

- so apologies fly and you both fall asleep happy again

- life with kyoya may not be perfect, but there’s no one else you would rather spend it with

I'm trying to get an Ouran imagine blog going (@imagineohshc) but I just don't know how to start and how to get people requesting. How did you get your blog going when you were first starting out?

Honestly, the fact that you come to us for advice like this is so flattering, and I just have to say thank you. But in terms of actual advice, I just have to say that patience is key. When I first started out, all I posted was that requests were open, and guess how many requests I got? Zero, zip, zilch.

People want to know the kind of content they’re going to be getting when they request, so you have to post an example of your work. Also, when you do, post something that you know lots of people will like. What I did was post a scenario entitled “When you have a Nightmare” or something like that (I can’t remember the specific title). Because, 1. I knew it would catch the attention of people who like angsty/fluff scenarios, and 2. It would give people an idea of the kind I content I produce. And after that, requests started flooding in. So if you haven’t don’t that already, I 2000% recommend it.

If you’re having trouble thinking of a topic, think of something that you’d like to see. This is a big fandom, so chances are there’s someone else that’s going to want to read something like that as well. Another great thing to do is look a tumble prompts. There are tons f great blogs dedicated to them and you’re bound to find something that inspires you.

Another thing that a lot of people seem to do is ask for shout outs, which I never really thought to do, but it’s a great idea, and as long as blog admins are ok with it, it’s a great way to get your name out there!

How would Hani,Tamaharu and the twins react to finding out their s/o has an IQ which classifies them as a genius?

:: you know the drill for the rest of the members guys ::Haruhi :She would be amazed. Her IQ is extremely high but she's not quite on that level. She would probably come to you if she ever had trouble with something relating to school. Hikaru :He would laugh and challenge you to high stakes game of "Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader?" And when you eventually beat him, he would swipe the board off the table and say "Whoops, I'm so clumsy. Looks like neither of us won." He wasn't surprised when you threw a pencil at him.Kaoru :He would make fun of you sometimes for being a genius, but I don't think he would really make a big deal about it other than that. He would come to you for help like Haruhi if he needed it. Tamaki :He would insist that you were the smartest person on the planet and, in typical Tamaki fashion, go on a tangent about how no quality is more beautiful than intelligence. He would insist that you help him study for exams. Honey : An awestruck look would cross his face and he would clap profusely. "Woah y/n-chan!! I'm so proud of you!" He would run over to Mori and brag to him about how smart and amazing you are while you stood there, extremely embarrassed.

Haruhi :I don't think she would really be mad. She would be more sympathetic and would understand why you felt the way you did, but she would make sure that you know you shouldn't feel embarrassed about that kind of stuff EVER. She would work with you towards making your illness betterKyoya :He would be more disappointed than angry. He'd wish you would've come to him considering his family's connection with health. He would also be slightly angry though that you didn't tell him, but he would appear much more angry than he actually was when he told you. Overall, his top priority would be getting you to the best physician he could to help you get better.

How would Tamaki and the twins react to finding out their s/o has a chronic illness (nothing life threatening just painful) but said s/o never told them because it was embarrassing?

:: as always, if you want the other members, just ask ::Hikaru : Would be extremely angry. He wouldn't care what your reasoning behind it he would just be mad that you didn't trust him enough to say anything. He would support you through the rest of your illness, but he would still be mad at you for quite awhile. Kaoru :He would be hurt, but he would push it aside to make sure that you were all right. He would make sure your were getting the best care possible, but would bring it up sometime later how your actions had hurt him. He wouldn't stay mad too long though, instead focusing again on your health and making you better. Tamaki : He would change from his usual fun loving self. He would get serious and make sure that you know you should never think of those kinds of things as embarrassing, and that he wished you would've told him sooner. He would honestly also be kind of hurt an angry. He would think you not telling him meant you didn't trust him, and he would also be mad that he couldn't be there to help you through your pain.

All of them would find it extremely adorable, possibly with the exception of Kyoya and Hikaru though. Kyoya would find it cute but, I don’t think as much as the others. Though I could also see it on the opposite spectrum as well. Hikaru on the other hand, well I just see him finding kids generally annoying until he gets his little sister. So if it’s post Ageha, then he would find it adorable, but if it’s before her, I just don’t think he would find it cute because he himself doesn’t like kids and doesn’t understand the appeal.

Babe, we all know how powerful Kyoya is. He has info on everybody, and that includes the things they don't want people to know. So if anyone had the guts to make fun of you in the first place, he would quickly shut it down by threatening the people responsible. Then he would make sure that you knew how beautiful and perfect he thought you were if you had heard what they were saying about you.

Amused because he thinks it's just like you to be irresponsible like this, and pissed because you were irresponsible and let this happen. "Take better care of yourself." He would say as he pat your head lightly. He would be mad that he hadn't noticed you overworking yourself, and would keep an eye out from now on. Honey : Would be extremely concerned internally and externally. He would probably overreact and call the ambulance, but when you woke up before it got there, he would then start freaking out about what to tell the paramedics when they it there and you were fine. In the end, he would be upset you didn't take care of yourself, and would put on a pouty face, but would cheer up once you promised to be more careful.
