Hello, we're Perla and Suset and this is a food blog, basically! We will be sharing our daily meals and (sometimes) their respective recipes with you :)

"Biro-Pizza" it's how Suset call them.

It's her mother's recipe, you take one of these breads and open it in two, take the spongy filling out and spread some tomato sauce, we used Hunts tradicional pasta sauce, fried ham and chorizo (sausage) and mushrooms, and of course, cheese! Gosh my mouth is watering just by writing this.

Have I ever mentioned that breakfast is my favourite time of the day? This omelette here is one of the many reasons!

Pastel Azteca. Which would translate (literally) like Aztec cake.

I looove eating this thing, honestly, it's like heaven! It's kinda like making lasagna, almost the same process.

Our recipe includes (in order) Corn tortillas, chicken breast (previously boiled), table cream with some chicken consommé, chihuahua cheese, green chili and corn kernels, then again tortillas and all the rest (twice) and extra cheese on top because why not!

5 minutes on the microwave (covered with kitchen film) and BAM! Now you have a delicious and quick Aztec cake :3

Hello guys, sorry for taking so long to update, we've been out of town for the weekend and some school and work stuff was going on so we were quite busy, so I apologize for that! 

Anyway, this is some common but yummy quesadilla, made qith chihuahua cheese, ham and beans inside the tortilla, we also made a mini salsa with tomatoes, onion and green chili, only missing the guacamole because we haven't found a nice avocado on the market! They're all green and hard on the outside :( I hope we can get some good ones soon! My life isn't the same without avocados.

Hello guys! This is my first post in this blog, so today Perla was not feeling so well and I got home early from work, so it was my turn to take over the kitchen and make this beef milanesa (which is just a slim breaded piece of meat) and some simple lettuce and tomato salad with baked potatoes (microwaved) it was really really easy to make it didn't take more than 20 minutes tbh and it was freaking delicious! (we added some ranch salad dressing)

Yummy scrambled eggs with sausages, waffles, maple syrup, peanut butter and coffe.

Tonight's dinner!

Chilaquiles with Chihuahuan cheese, refried beans and a tiny guacamole in its shell.

This is a meal we have very often, it's what we call a bistec ranchero.

This one in particular is made with beef, potatoes, tomatoes, onion, green chili and salt, pepper and oregano, it's my mom's modified recipe and I finally can make it taste good lol also, I learned how to cook rice!! Guys that's a huge thing for me ok? 

We usually don't have tortillas here because we still think our hometown's tortillas are the best and here in this city they're just ew, so when our moms send us tortillas WE JUST CANNOT EAT WITHOUT THEM.

Our first post YAAY! This is what we, as mexicans, would proudly call a tamal sonorense, it's a meat tamal (I like to open them in half) with potatoes and carrots and some green chili unf unf, I can't give you the recipe because my mom sent them from my hometown, where she bought them for us :)

I always eat them meat tamales with table cream, I told Suset that they were fantastic like that but she was all "EWWW NO!" and well, one day I was eating my tamal with cream and she was like "can I have a bite?" lol and well, that day she knew how much she missed in the past 23 years lol. 

Oh we also eat them with refried beans yummy, seriously, if you ever have the chance to come to México you MUST eat some tamales.
