Hey all! As many of you know, I work on the pulmonary unit of my hospital. My particular unit takes all of the adult Cystic Fibrosis patients in the STATE! These people spend so much time with us, they become like family.

My unit participates in Great Strides every year (like Race for the Cure, but for Cystic Fibrosis) and this year I’m Team Co-Captain.

Incredibly frustrated.

Anthony never talked to the apartment complex to let them know what was going on and why we haven’t paid rent yet. We are pretty much 2 weeks late and he hasn’t told them why! Like why is it so difficult for him to get up and do shit. He should have called them right away when he knew what happened but he didn’t so now they most likely wont waive the fees and because his checks haven’t come in yet I’ll be the one to pay rent and it’s almost 1000 out of my pocket that I most likely wont get back! and right before my birthday!

I’m so fucking pissed. It really isn’t that difficult to pick up the phone and explain what is happening.

great start to the new year

So one of our car payments comes out on the 26th of every month and anthony also has a loan that automatically comes out every week. Apparently because of the holidays there was a glitch with the system for both these payments so it took the payments out TWICE. This then made it so that we couldn’t pay rent on time and Anthony contacted both places to get the money back but because they are both separate banks from his own they had to mail out checks. We are STILL waiting for those checks to come in the mail. We are now 8 days late on rent and the fees are adding up with each day. Our late fees are ridiculous to begin with so to be this late on rent is really stressing us out because there is nothing we can do but wait for the checks to get in. On top of that our other car payment is due this week and I got a letter from a creditor about a dental bill of 177 for William which makes no sense because not only has he never been to this dental place but our insurance always covers everything so I never have a bill to pay so now I have to figure that out too.

My birthday is on monday but we literally have no money to go do anything and i’m really bummed out about it. I’m annoyed with the banks and how much of a mess this has turned out to be so far. 

hopefully the checks come in today or my school money comes in today then I can just pay rent and he can give the checks to me. Regardless we still need to wait for one of our checks to come in before we can pay rent. UGH!!!!

I’ve literally been sick since Christmas. Ugh

On the bright side, Anthony and I are going to a Suns game tonight and I’m excited because I’ve never been before. He has three tickets and his friend was going to go with us but he bailed and we can’t think of anyone to come with us so we’re just going to make it a date night I guess. It sucks that a ticket is going to be waisted though

What a tough year. It has been struggle after struggle after struggle. My relationship has been tested in ways it never has been before. I have had major ups and down in this rollercoaster of a year. I am hopeful for what the new year will bring but I am more hopeful about what the next few years will bring. We will be moving, a baby is planned to happen in a couple years, a vacation to the Bahamas, graduation then graduate school. Just so much to look forward to in the next few years that have seemed to take so long but are finally getting closer. 

I am hopeful for this next year but the next few years will be the start of everything we have worked for and that is most exciting.
