As much as I like the fandom deciding mumrik kisses are just, y’know, regular kisses, I can’t help but think we missed an opportunity to embrace Snufkin’s more catlike qualities to show “kisses” and affection.

Like, imagine Snufkin licking Moomin’s cheek, and Moomin just laughs and wipes it off while mumbling, “Love you, too.” Better yet, imagine Snufkin being really sleepy and softly nibbling on Moomin’s ear like a kitten.

There are possibilities, people.

I just checked your Magnum Opus of a fanfiction, and I noticed that the number of chapters on Honeysuckle has changed from 50-something out of ??? To 55/55. If this means you have finished it, (I am far too anxious to check) then I find it a clear reason to pop the cork off of the champagne to such a firework announcement. Honeysuckle has been nothing short of life-changing for me, with fluff which made me burst, to pining which made me dizzy until I hurled, to angst which made me cry.

Pop away!!! We finished up at a nice clean 55 lol 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾

Oh. Oh my god. What began so many years ago has been carried on through the fire and flames of 2020 until the end. This means so much to me, as this is the first big fic that I have ever got invested into. I think the only right thing to do is start again from where it all started and follow through till the close which I have anticipated so much. And thank you for writing this lovely story in the first place!

Me and everyone I know love Honeysuckle so so much. Can’t wait for the next update! But one question we’ve all been wondering: why didn’t the captain fuck Snufkin? It seemed set up with all the talk of how pretty he is and the ice in his mouth, but then with how long the pirate scene is, it just didn’t happen. Curious if there was a reason behind this. Thank you for being a lovely author and I can’t wait to read more for you!!
